Irkutsk ambulance paramedic organized a volunteer movement to help pensioners

More and more users are joining the group, which was organized in social networks by an ambulance paramedic from Irkutsk. He has gathered people ready to help lonely old people whom he meets on calls.

Until recently, the house of the Irkutsk pensioner Pyotr Ivashev looked more like a barn. The apartment looks completely different now. A veteran, retired colonel, Ivashev had an accident many years ago. Multiple fractures did not heal correctly, so it was hard for the pensioner to move around the apartment even on crutches, not to mention cleaning.

It was not a television project that helped the pensioner to solve the "housing problem", but the ambulance assistant Vladimir Urusov, without TV cameras, hype and sponsors. For the first time he was in this house for work: Pyotr Ivanovich's blood pressure rose, he called an ambulance. So we met.

Peter Ivashev, pensioner: “He noticed that he was unkempt. The next day, when he was released from duty, he came to me. And I say bluntly that he raised me up”.

Seeing the conditions in which the pensioner lives, Vladimir visited him again, but not with a tonometer, but with rags, brushes and cleaning agents. Two friends helped the paramedic to clean the dirty floor, take out the trash and poison the cockroaches. Pyotr Ivanovich only makes a helpless gesture: it turns out that in order to bring him back to life, very little was needed: care and attention.

Pyotr Ivanovich nicknamed Vladimir and his friends "Timurovites". And they decided to help other lonely old people and organized the Army of Warm Hearts group on social networks. More than 100 people have already joined the volunteers.

Vladimir Urusov, ambulance paramedic, volunteer: “We thought that not only Peter Ivanovich would need help, this is how our group was born in Irkutsk. Because in our country it is the elderly who are left abandoned and useless."

The radiologist brought the drowned girl back to life

“It happened on August 15th. That day my sister and nephews and I came to the river to swim. Everything was fine - heat, sun, water. Here my sister says to me: "Lesha, look, the man has drowned, over there, he is swimming by …"

Alexey Anischenko, a radiologist from the Krasnodar Territory, brought the drowned girl back to life:

“The drowned man was carried away by the fast current, and I had to run about 350 meters until I caught up. It turned out to be a child. There are all the signs of a drowned man - an unnaturally swollen belly, a bluish-black body, veins swollen. I didn't even know if it was a boy or a girl. He pulled the child ashore and began pouring water out of him. The stomach, lungs - everything was filled with water, the tongue sank all the time. I asked the people next to me for a towel. Nobody submitted, disdained, frightened at the sight of the girl, regretted their beautiful towels for her. And I'm wearing nothing but swimming trunks. Because of the fast running, and while I was pulling her out of the water, I was exhausted, there was not enough air for artificial respiration.

Thank God, my colleague, nurse Olga, passed by, but she was on the other side. She started screaming for me to bring the baby to her shore. The child who had swallowed water became incredibly heavy. The peasants responded to the request to carry the girl to the other side. There, Olga and I continued all the resuscitation actions.

They poured out the water as best they could, did a heart massage, artificial respiration, for 15-20 minutes there was no reaction, neither from the girl, nor from the nearby onlookers. I asked to call an ambulance, no one called, and the ambulance station was nearby, 150 meters away. Olga and I could not afford to be distracted even for a second, so we could not even call.

After some time, a boy was found, and he ran to call for help. In the meantime, we all tried to revive a little girl of five years old. Olga even cried out of despair, it seemed that there was no more hope. Everyone around was saying, give up these useless attempts, you will break all her ribs, why are you mocking the deceased. But then the girl sighed!

The nurse who came running heard the sounds of a heartbeat. The girl was urgently taken away, then the ambulance was called. After a week in a coma, she regained consciousness. She seems to be doing well now.

It turned out that the girl was sitting on a log and fell from it into the water. After hitting her head on a stone, she lost consciousness. And then she swam on the crowded beaches, everyone saw her, and she swam for herself on, and if my sister had not seen her, then she probably would have swum away.

When I, falling, ran after her, they looked at me like at a fool. To be honest, I don't even know what to think about such indifference. It's scary, what if your child is in her place? I was also struck by the fact that no one even wanted to give towels, disdained, turned away, left. And someone even advised to leave her. But she survived. As a reproach to all human indifference. And he continues to live.

Now many people say to me: "It will be reckoned for you in the next world." And I laugh, they say, now it's not scary to die. As a physician, I know that there is a rule - if a drowned person, then before the arrival of qualified help, resuscitation cannot be stopped. With hypothermia, in this case, that is, when the water is cold, the brain can remain without air for a long time. That is why we did not give up, and in spite of everything we managed to revive the girl!"

People are bringing old sofas, chests of drawers, refrigerators, clothes, and unnecessary building materials into the forest. Tires and plastic panels are unloaded from car services into the forest. I even found cartridges from a Kalashnikov assault rifle recently during the harvest. There are no big trash cans nearby, so people are taking their trash to the nearest forest. They think the forest is big, nothing bad will happen if I leave my trash. What shocks me more is that the first line was dirtied by residents of the private sector who live near the forest. They themselves are pigs under their noses, I don't understand how they like to live next to the landfill.

This spring, while walking through the woods, I came across a mountain of dead pedigree dogs. They had already begun to decompose, flies and worms were crawling over them. The sight is terrible, the smell is even worse. And this is at a distance of only one kilometer from residential buildings. And if these dogs died from an infectious disease, the infection could spread with the help of rats and foxes to other animals and even people. We sounded the alarm and called the journalists. After that, people from the veterinary service came, removed the corpses and said that heaps of dead animals are not such a rarity in our forests. The logic of the people who bring the corpses of living creatures to the forest is simple: why bring animals to the recycling plant for money, if you can simply leave them for free.

I go up and ask the boy what happened. It turns out that he is participating in some kind of arrival, he did not take his mobile, he cannot call his parents.

Do you know what he started asking the policeman about? Give him a wrench, he will disassemble the bike, can you with the disassembled one? In spite of everything, I was simply amazed at this desire to get to the Olympics!

Several teenagers were smoking right at the entrance to the metro, some were drinking beer. And two "law enforcement officers" ran into a young cyclist.

I took the boy out, called a taxi (yes, I wrote down his number, car, etc.)))), paid for it and sent the child.

By the way, it is remarkable. Both the policeman and the metro employee saw that I, a stranger, take a child out of the subway, put someone else's child in a car … Do you think that one of them said at least a word to me? The main thing is that the bike is removed. Everything, the rules are not violated.
