Good day, dear users! I want to share my impressions from viewing the picture expected by many.

At first I wanted to go to the cinema, but something told me - "not worth it", I will wait for a screen copy on pirate viewers. Intuition did not disappoint - I watched a film with stops and rewinds, otherwise I would have to sit "from ring to bell" regretting the money spent.

So, with the money saved, I bought a "lubricating liquid" (vodka + maple syrup) because without it, I would hardly have been able to overcome this … mockery of the national pride of the Rus - the Ryazan grandee (as it is said in the chronicle) YEVPATIA LVOVICH, nicknamed "Kolovrat"

But before plunging the user into this space of the dull, pseudo-Russian reality of the 13th century (or rather, the subjective vision of his Less often with Seurat film) I suggest that you must read the text of the original chronicle (the first and only mention of the feat of the Russian hero)

THE COLLECTIVE IMAGE OF THE HERO

The history itself is not so unambiguous, because in various chronicles (in LLS, for example - History of Russia, Volume 5 / read from page 331), when describing the ruin of Ryazan by Batu, Evpatia is not mentioned at all, and this is the 16th century! After all, the LLS of Ivan the Terrible is a "Textbook for Tsar's Children".. It is unlikely that such an event (the feat of Evpatiy and his comrades) could have been missed by its compilers, if they knew about that.) was inscribed in the chronicles later than the 16th century, something like that!

And moreover, in LLS, the death of Kolovrat's squad (thrown from stone throwers) is described, but in another place - in Chernigov !!! And according to the chronicle, Kolovrat came from Chernigov to Ryazan (SEE HOW IT OVERLOOKS !!!) Also, the time does not coincide (a year later, from the chronicle date) And the fallen hero there - Prince Mstislav (p. 428, 5th volume LLS history Rus, at the link above) This suggests a collective image of the hero. Either the Batyevites had such a trick - they loved to throw stones from stone throwers, surrounded by enemy detachments … (and the stones were hewn, calibrated, for the sake of shooting for the sake of shooting) Or maybe they practiced at the same time - pleasant and useful.

To me personally, the version about stone throwers seems implausible, for many reasons, and the main one is the practical execution of the task - hitting a stone at such a point as a separate person. Have you ever worked with a mortar? Even with a mortar you are tortured to hit the point (this can be done by individual talents - virtuosos, of which there are not always many), and in the mortar, meanwhile, there is a clear guidance system, standard ammunition, with the same weight, which allows you to adjust the trajectory - "SHOOT" the pole.. When you have stones, about the same weight, and about the same, imperfect shape, this allows you to throw them in approximately some direction, and then - how it goes.

In general, I think that Kolovrat is a collective image of folk heroes, of which there were many in Russia, and most likely, SUCH A UNIQUE PERSONALITY EXISTED, but the feat of Evpatiy Kolovrat, over time, overgrown with details taken from other cases, with other heroes, everything it was composed by folk storytellers, sung by generations of them, and as a result, such an image of a war hero-Rus was obtained. Below, I will give an analysis of the original source from a well-known specialist, Likhachev D. S. According to Likhachev's version, the image of Evpatiy was recorded on paper not earlier than the 14th century, and most importantly - solely on the basis of folk legends, but in official documents he was never mentioned. So, let's start praying.. (Bless, Father!)

ORIGINAL TEXT (translation)

In 6745 (1237), twelve years after the miraculous image was brought from Korsun, the godless Tsar Batu came to the Russian land with many Tatar warriors and camped on the river on Voronezh, near the Ryazan land. And he sent ambassadors to Ryazan to the Grand Duke Yuri Ingorevich of Ryazan without benefit for the cause, asking for tithes in everything: in princes, and in people of all classes, and in everything.

And the Grand Duke Yuri Ingorevich of Ryazansky heard about the arrival of the godless Tsar Batu, and quickly sent Vladimir to the city of Vladimir to the noble Grand Duke George Vsevolodovich of Vladimir, asking him to either help soldiers against the godless Tsar Batu, or that he himself led the troops. Prince the great George Vsevolodovich Vladimirsky himself did not lead the army, and did not send soldiers to help, wanting to fight Batu himself, alone.

And Grand Duke Yuri Ingorevich Ryazansky learned that there was no help from Grand Duke Georgy Vsevolodovich Vladimirsky, and quickly sent for his brothers: for Prince Davyd Ingorevich of Murom, and for Prince Gleb Ingorevich Kolomensky, and for Oleg Krasny, and for Vsevolod Pronsky and others princes. And they began to consult, and decided that the wicked one should be satisfied with gifts.

And he sent his son, Prince Fyodor Yuryevich Ryazan to the godless Tsar Batu with gifts and great pleas not to fight the Ryazan land. Prince Fyodor Yuryevich came to the Voronezh River to the Tsar Batu and brought him gifts and prayed to the Tsar not to fight the Ryazan land. The godless Tsar Batu, being deceitful and unmerciful, accepted the gifts and insincerely promised not to go to war on the Ryazan land. And he threatened and boasted to fight the Russian land.

And he began to ask the Ryazan princes for a daughter or a sister on his bed. And one of the Ryazan nobles, out of envy, whispered to the godless Tsar Batu that Prince Fyodor Yuryevich Ryazansky had a princess of a royal family, beautiful in herself. Tsar Batu, crafty and unmerciful in his paganism, overwhelmed by carnal passion, said to Prince Fyodor Yuryevich: "Let me, prince, know the beauty of your wife!" The faithful prince Fyodor Yuryevich Ryazansky laughed and said to the tsar: "It is not good for us Christians to bring you, an impious tsar, your women to fornication - when you overcome us, then you will have power over our women."

The godless Tsar Batu was furious and offended and immediately ordered to kill the faithful prince Fyodor Yuryevich, and ordered his body to be thrown to beasts and birds to be torn apart, and killed other princes and ambassadorial soldiers.

And one of the uncles of Prince Fyodor Yuryevich, named Aponitsa, escaped, and looking at the blessed body, worthy of the honors of its master, and seeing him abandoned, wept bitterly, and took his beloved sovereign and buried it secretly.

And he hurried to the faithful princess Eupraxia and told her how the wicked Tsar Batu killed the faithful prince Fyodor Yuryevich. The noble princess Eupraxia stood in her lofty mansion and held her beloved child, Prince Ivan Fyodorovich. And having heard such deadly words, full of grief, she threw herself here from her high mansion with her son, Prince Ivan, to the ground and crashed to death.

And the Grand Duke Yuri Ingorevich heard about the murder of his beloved son, Prince Fyodor, other princes, many ambassadors killed by order of the godless tsar, and began to cry, and with the Grand Duchess, and with other princesses, and with brothers. And the whole city wept for a long time, and barely came to themselves from that great weeping and sobbing.

And he began to gather an army and set up regiments. Prince Yuri Ingorevich, seeing his brothers, boyars, and governor, prancing bravely and courageously, raised his hands to heaven and said with tears: “Protect us from our enemies, O God, and deliver us from those who rise up against us, and save us the host of the crafty and from the multitude of those who do lawlessness. May their path be dark and slippery!"

And he said to his brothers: “O my lords and brothers! If we have received the good from the hand of the Lord, will we not also bear the evil? It is better for us to achieve eternal life by death than to be in the power of the pagans. And I, your brother, will first drink the cup of death for the holy churches of God, and for the Christian faith, and for the fatherland of our ancestor Igor Svyatoslavich!"

And he went to the church - to the church of the glorious Assumption of the Blessed Lady of the Mother of God. And he wept a lot and prayed in front of the image of the Most Pure Mother of God, and the great miracle worker Nikola, and his relatives Boris and Gleb. And he performed the ceremony of farewell to the Grand Duchess Agrippina Rostislavovna and received a blessing from the bishop and from the entire sacred cathedral.

And he went out against the wicked king Batu and met him near the borders of Ryazan. And he attacked Batu, and began to fight with perseverance and courage. And the slaughter was cruel and terrible, and many soldiers of the strong Batu regiments fell. And Tsar Batu saw that the Ryazan army was fighting selflessly and courageously, and he was frightened. Who can resist the wrath of God? And Batu has a great many troops: one fights with a thousand, and two with darkness. The prince saw the great death of his brother Davyd Ingorevich and exclaimed: “O my dear brethren! Prince Davyd, our brother, drank the cup of death before us, but don't we drink this cup ?! They changed horses and began to fight hard, fighting with many strong Batu regiments, fighting bravely and courageously, so that all the Tatar troops marveled at the firmness and courage of the Ryazan army. And the strong Tatar regiments barely overpowered them.

Here was killed the noble prince the great Georgy Ingorevich, his brother Prince Davyd Ingorevich Muromsky, his brother Prince Gleb Ingorevich Kolomensky, their brother Vsevolod Pronsky and many Ryazan princes and courageous governors, and the army - the daring and frolicking Ryazan. All died at the same time, and they drank one cup of death for all. None of them came back, but all died together. And God sent all this for our sins.

And Prince Oleg Ingorevich was captured barely alive.

The tsar, seeing the death of many of his regiments and many of the Tatar heroes killed, began to grieve and be horrified. And he began to fight the Ryazan land, commanding to beat, and flog, and burn without mercy. And the city of Pronsk, and the city of Bel, and Izheslavets ravaged to the ground and killed all people without mercy. And Christian blood flowed like a full-flowing river because of our sins.

Tsar Batu, seeing Prince Oleg Ingorevich, so beautiful and brave, exhausted from serious wounds, wanted to heal him from those wounds and to persuade him to his faith. Prince Oleg Ingorevich reproached Tsar Batu and called him godless and an enemy of Christians. The accursed Batu breathed the fire of his vile heart and ordered that Oleg be cut into pieces with knives. This Oleg, the second first martyr Stephen, accepted the crown of his suffering from the all-merciful God and drank the cup of death with his brothers on an equal footing.

The accursed king Batu began to fight the Ryazan land and went to the city of Ryazan. And they surrounded the city, and began to fight for five days without retreating. Warriors Batyev's troops changed and rested, and the townspeople fought without change. And many of the townspeople were killed, others were wounded, and some were exhausted from the long battle.

And on the sixth day, early in the morning, the pagans came to the city, some with torches, and others with battering tools, and others with many stairs. And they took the city of Ryazan in December 21 days. And they came to the cathedral church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the Grand Duchess Agrippina, the mother of the Grand Duke, and with their daughters-in-law, and other princesses, were hacked to death with swords, and they set the bishop and clergymen on fire - they burned them in the holy church; and many others fell from weapons, and in the city many people with wives and children were hacked to pieces, others were drowned in the river. And the priests and monks were hacked to the last. And the whole city was burned, and all the treasures of the famous goldsmithing skill, and the wealth of the Ryazan sovereigns and their relatives from Chernigov and Kiev were captured. And the temples of God were destroyed and in the holy altars they shed much blood.

And not a single living person remained in the city, all at the same time perished and drank one mortal cup for all. There was not left there either moaning or crying: neither father and mother for children, nor child for father and mother, nor brother for brother, nor for relatives, but they all lay dead together. And all this happened for our sins!

The godless Tsar Batu, seeing the great Christian bloodshed, became even more furious and bitter. And he went to the cities of Suzdal and Vladimir, wishing to capture the Russian land, and exterminate the Christian faith, and destroy the churches of God to the ground.

And one of the nobles of Ryazan named Evpatiy Kolovrat was at that time in Chernigov with Prince Ingvar Ingorevich. And he heard about the invasion of King Batu, faithful to evil, and left Chernigov with a small squad, and rushed quickly. And he came to the land of Ryazan, and saw it devastated: the castles were ravaged, churches were burned, people were killed.

And he rushed to the city of Ryazan and saw that the city was ruined, the sovereigns were killed and many people were killed: some were killed by the sword, others were burned, others were drowned in the river. Evpatiy cried out in the sorrow of his soul and flaring up his heart. And he gathered a small squad - one thousand seven hundred people, who were saved by God outside the city.

And they rushed after the godless king, and could barely catch up with him in the Suzdal land. And suddenly they attacked the resting army of Batyevo, and began to flog without mercy, and brought confusion to all the Tatar regiments. The Tatars became drunk or distraught. Evpatiy fought so mercilessly that the swords were dulled, and he snatched out the Tatar swords and cut them down. The Tatars thought that the dead were raised! Evpatiy at full gallop fought with strong regiments and beat them mercilessly. And he fought with the Tatar troops so bravely and courageously that the king himself was frightened.

And the Tatars barely managed to capture five seriously wounded soldiers. And they brought them to Tsar Batu. Tsar Batu and began to ask: “What kind of faith are you and what kind of land? And why did they do me much harm? " They answered: “We are of the Christian faith, servants of the Grand Duke Yuri Ingorevich of Ryazan, and the warriors are Evpatiy Kolovrat. We have been sent from Prince Ingvar Ingorevich of Ryazan to honor you, the mighty Tsar, and honor you with honor, and honor you. Do not be surprised, tsar, that we do not have time to pour cups for the great power - the Tatar army. " The king was surprised at their wise answer.

And he sent the son of his brother-in-law - Khostovrul, against Evpatiy, and with him many Tatar troops. Khostovrul, however, boasted to the king that he would bring Evpatia to the king alive. And they surrounded everyone with great Tatar forces, wishing to capture Evpatiy alive. Khostovrul entered into single combat with Eupatius. Evpatiy, a hero by force, cut Khostovrul in two to the very saddle. And he began to whip the Tatar army and beat many famous heroes Batyevs, cutting some in two, and cutting others to the saddle.

The Tatars were frightened, seeing that Evpatiy was a giant hero. And they pointed at him an innumerable number of battering guns, and began to beat him with them, and with difficulty they killed him. And they brought his body before the king Batu. Tsar Batu sent for the Murzas, and for the princes, and for the Sanchakbeys, and everyone began to marvel at the courage, and the strength, and the courage of the Ryazan army. And they said to the king: “We are with many kings, in many lands, in many battles, but we have not seen such daring and frolic, nor our fathers told us about such. For these are winged people and do not have death. So bravely and courageously they fought: one fought with a thousand, and two with darkness. Nobody could get away from them alive from the battle!"

Tsar Batu, looking at Evpatiy's body, said: “O Evpatiy Kolovrat! You treated me well with your little squad! He killed many heroes of a strong horde, and many troops fell. If he served me like that, I would love him with all my heart. And he gave Evpatievo's body to the survivors of his squad, who were captured in battle. And Tsar Batu ordered them to be released, not to cause any harm.

NEXT - THE PROMISED Parsing SOURCE (CHRONICLES) D. S. Likhachev

When and how did "The Tale of the Ruin of Ryazan by Batu" appear? It was not compiled immediately after the invasion of Batu. This is evident from the fact that many of the details of this invasion have been erased and, as it were, restored from memory.

And at the same time, "The Tale of the Ruin of Ryazan" could not have appeared later than the middle of the XIV century. This is evidenced by the very acuteness of the experience of the events of Batu's invasion, not smoothed out and not softened by time, and a number of characteristic details that could be remembered only by the next generations. The "honor and glory" of the Ryazan princes, the amanats whom the Ryazan princes took from the Polovtsy, the relationship of the Ryazan princes with those of Chernigov have not yet been forgotten; Kolomna still acts as a Ryazan city (Gleb Kolomensky fights along with the Ryazan princes). The author also remembers that the Assumption Cathedral in Ryazan was completely burned and blackened by smoke. The author speaks of the "patterned" Ryazan, remembers the fact that there was a Chernigov and Kiev treasury in Ryazan, and much more. But most importantly, Old Ryazan had not yet come to its final destruction during the compilation of this "Tale", to which it came only at the end of the XIV century, when the very capital of the Ryazan principality was transferred to Pereyaslavl-Ryazan. After all, the "Tale" consists of the story that Prince Ingvar Ingorevich is restoring the ruined Ryazan, and there is not even a hint of its final destruction, to which it was led by the campaigns of the Tatars in the 70s. XIV century. The Assumption Cathedral has only turned black from the fire, but has not yet been destroyed; in Ryazan, you can still bury its princes.

The final light chord of The Tale (the restoration of Ryazan by Prince Ingvar Ingorevich) is still not overshadowed by anything. It is most likely to believe that "The Tale of the Ruin of Ryazan" was compiled in the first half of the XIV century. Already at the beginning of the 15th century. "The Tale of the Ruin of Ryazan by Batu" was reflected in the Moscow annalistic collection of Photius in 1418: a number of details in the description of the destruction of Moscow by Tokhtamysh were transferred to this collection from "The Tale of the Ruin of Ryazan" 9. These details are not yet in the previous Moscow chronicle of 1409. 10 They are taken entirely from the Tale.

The main editions of the Tale have brought to us its original text with very slight differences from the way it came out from the pen of its author. If we exclude the crying of Ingvar Ingorevich, the episode with Oleg Krasny and, perhaps, the description of the death of Fyodor and Eupraxia, then everything else should be attributed to the original, author's text of the Tale. Undoubtedly, the central episode of the "Tale" with Eupatiy Kolovrat also belongs to him. It is finished with a plot, wholly belongs to some epic that has not come down to our time, but it was recorded in the "Tale" in the same stylistic manner with a number of turns and expressions characteristic of other parts of the "Tale".

How did the "Tale of the Ruin of Ryazan by Batu" come about, where did the author get his information from? This question, like the previous one, cannot be resolved in all details, but in general it is not difficult to answer it. The author had at his disposal the Ryazan Chronicle, contemporary to events, very likely short, without mentioning the names of the defenders of Ryazan. Fragments of this particular chronicle have come down to us as part of the Novgorod First Chronicle.

That is why there are literal coincidences between the story of the Novgorod First Chronicle about the events of the invasion of Batu and "The Tale of the Ruin of Ryazan". Subsequently, this chronicle was lost in Ryazan itself. In addition to her, the author had at his disposal a princely Ryazan commemoration, where the deceased Ryazan princes were listed, but without indicating where and when each of them died.

Hence, the author supplemented the story of the Ryazan chronicle with the names of the Ryazan princes, making them all participants in the defense of Ryazan. That is why in the "Tale" so much attention is paid to the funeral of princes, especially since the graves of the Ryazan princes were before the eyes of the author of the "Tale". That is why, also, in the most ancient version of The Tale, nothing is said about the funeral of Evpatiy: his name and the whole story about him were taken from another source. This other source was the most important: it was for the author folk tales.

It was they who not only provided the author of the Tale with the basic information, but also determined the artistic form of the Tale, giving it both the local flavor and the depth of the mood, selecting the artistic means of expression. Of course, the author did not compose an epic and not a historical song, but in his literary work he resorted only to those literary literary means that did not contradict his own folk tastes, and to those means of folk poetry that could be introduced into book learning without decisively breaking the whole book system of creativity of the Middle Ages.

Well, about the "Blochbuster", here are the opinions of some media characters

ECCHO

AND ECCHO

PUTINA "TAKE IT"

Although, I think Putin as an intelligent person, he said competently. How is it - an intellectual will always find something good to say … If you are asked to somehow evaluate what you did not like, you will definitely find something good (if you are an intellectual) so that do not offend the chela.. For example, in a bad, mediocre song, you can highlight "GOOD RHYTHM", in unsuccessful cooking, admire the dishes on which it was served, etc.

Right there we have - .. TAKES FOR THE SOUL.. Without specifying what exactly, where and why.. But the reasons can be different.. Here, it took me by the heart, how could one so spoil the light, epic image of the mighty folk hero, so to belittle him, to make him sick in the head !!! (amnesia, according to the script) although there is no hint of this in the annals! How could one show such freedom without shuddering and trembling? the bad head of the scriptwriters.. After all, this is a national hero! Where does such amateur performance come from, what is its goal-setting? It seems that this is done on purpose, it is clear by whom, and for what purpose.

CONSPIRATION NOTES

It's called - IF YOU CANNOT WIN - LEAD IT !! In the wake of the rising interest of the Russian people to their past, our caring guardians give us their vision of our national heroes, because they have all the reins of government. It started a long time ago, and such products as "Stalingrad" … flooded our cinema skies (The only exception is the popular film "Panfilov's 28", although not impeccable)

Well stamped in Ukraine (about the Second World War) I especially "liked" about the legendary sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko (film "Defense of Sevastopol") where she arranges her personal life in the trenches for half the film (fucking with different characters) and the second half of the film is in the USA (after the war) visiting Roosevelt's wife. This is how the heroic defense of the hero-city is shown. And the samples of such products (for the Slavic world) are innumerable.

CINEMA "LAME", NOT "OCEANOE"

And no wonder - they filmed everything in the pavilions (they were specially built on the territory of the former ZIL plant) using the technology that was already used by everyone for a long time. CHROMAKEY (English chromakey) read more here - In short - the character is filmed against the background of one color, and then, the program removes this color, substituting the required landscape instead.

Image
Image

The technology has long been used in modern cinema. All fantasy, science fiction (or almost all) is filmed just like this. This program is also in amateur video editors (try it yourself!) Yes, in principle, you can always make candy from the city - hands would grow from there, from where they should grow.. But.. What happened in the end?

"KENO" FOR SUCCESSFUL

Where is the appropriate scope, breadth of the Russian soul, breadth of landscapes (as it should be), where is the image of a grandiose tragedy, where is the solemn pathos, a sample of the film "Alexander Nevsky"..? What happened? The level of a cheap TV series !!

It turned out to be a mean, cramped, not stupid, claustrophobic "glance" … "Sitem off e Down" (for downs) And what is sung in Russian is a pseudo, modern pop-pop version of folk singing.

For example, listen to how the real Russian "not pseudo" is sung

…. Now it is clear? Do you feel the difference? As ants go, from the performance of Nina Kolyada.

That's how it is all primordially Russian. It gives goosebumps, and in the soul a wave of admiration, joy.. And what's this? This is a dull pseudo, purely external signs of an object, which, in fact, is not … Fayziev.. what can you say..?

GROTESQUE PARODY

The movie turned out to be grotesquely humorous, on the verge of a parody, of the lowest kind … A torn storyline, incomplete, logically incomplete episodes. of the reference book "Folk Expressions and Sayings".. FORGED "WEAKED" KHALTURKU … In general - "decadent style", anyhow as a performed, brainchild of the promoters of the current rulers of our territory - THERE IS EXACTLY THIS CINEMA (FOR THE HERD) WILL LIKE, as a tool for shaping the images of our glorious past.

SAVED

From a novice director (they obviously saved money on a director, a good director is expensive) and producers, I would like to ask - AND IT WAS POSSIBLE TO TRAIN ON ANYTHING EASIER (and not on the folk hero of the Russians?) It is clear that for these people there is nothing sacred except money (like, they got into the trend - TRENDED !!!) AND THIRSTING EVERYTHING PRINCIPALLY RUSSIAN PEOPLE WILL GO TO LOOK FOR ANYONE (and carry the money to the box office) This is the main success of this office, for which this was done.

Take, for example, the 2016 film Viking. the spectacle is quite superb! Personally, I watched this movie with pleasure (analyzing, and drawing my own conclusions, naturally..) And this is logical - the most expensive film on a historical theme (the Jews did not stint) of recent times, filmed in our territory.

It is not at all the low-budget subject of our consideration (it is understandable - because about the national hero of the Russians) Promising trailers and a product that did not live up to expectations, suggest an elementary "razvodilov" "NOR GU-GU) A new type of wiring sucker - the main thing is that he comes to the cinema (bought a ticket, after watching the trailer) and there let him sit and" hawala "this is his problem! After all, you cannot legally prove that a movie is not a movie but a g … but !! And everything would be fine, of course, business and honor are not comparable things, but here's the thing itself … I would have to beat my face (as Kisa Vorobyaninov used to say, there are 12 chairs in the cinema) for this..

IN SHORT - ANOTHER PROPERTY OF OUR PEOPLE IS ANIMATED WITH THEIR SHIT

Well, since I am not an intellectual, I can afford, without thrusting two fingers into my throat, to cause a gag reflex, just by mentioning this chaotic, mediocre, plastic pseudo (according to my subjective opinion)

And here is a detailed analysis with a tough "simplicity" (but nevertheless, very informative!) The well-known Dmitry Puchkov and Klim Zhukov give an analysis

PS And best of all, do not you look at this protege of the fifth column, for a raised herd of an average consumer, read artistic literary, as described by Yan Vasily Grigorievich. Was there Kolovrat, or there was no such person specifically - in any case there were his prototypes, and we must think that we are not alone!

And if this is a legend, and you need to portray a national hero, then this should be done with no less quality and talent than the aforementioned Vasily Yanchevetsky "Yan" (1874 - 1954) Russian, Soviet writer, whose work was read in childhood, almost all current serious researchers, especially alternatives. Read part seven - "Evpatiy the Furious" (from the novel "Batu") and visualize the event with your imagination. I am sure you will do much better than these mediocre pests from the cinema!
