Slavic gymnastics is an energy-harmonizing health-improving system of psychophysical exercises.
Slavic gymnastics is a preventive, curative and health-improving section of Slavic martial practices and is rooted in antiquity.
The health-improving system of Slavic gymnastics helps to resolve issues of self-improvement, since its indispensable requirements are self-realization, self-hardening and harmonization of all human activities. The content of Slavic gymnastics is multifaceted: it is physical exercises, methods of breathing and psychotherapy, as well as a special process of conscious activity aimed at developing and strengthening the body and psyche of a person.
The human body itself acts as an object of Slavic gymnastics, focusing on the state of which, it is possible to correct the corresponding violations by conscious self-regulation of physical and mental activity.
Practices similar to Slavic gymnastics exist among many peoples. The most famous are Chinese qigong and Indian hatha yoga, which are very effective systems of healing. The arsenal of classical physiotherapy exercises has also accumulated considerable experience in the treatment and prevention of many diseases. The question arises: what is the difference between Slavic gymnastics and other health improvement systems? Does Slavic gymnastics have advantages over similar systems? Yes, there is: both the difference and the advantages.
Traditional physical therapy methods mainly use a mechanical approach to exercise. In Slavic gymnastics, great importance is attached to the combination of relaxation, movement, breathing and the work of consciousness within the framework of one exercise, which has a direct positive effect on the central and autonomic nervous system. This process leads to the stabilization of the activity of the whole organism. Thus, Slavic gymnastics allows more effectively than physiotherapy exercises to influence the homeostasis system, providing a significant therapeutic effect. Thanks to the ideomotor component, Slavic gymnastics can be considered as a method of dynamic psychotherapy.
Slavic gymnastics and oriental health-improving systems have a lot in common. However, it is well known that there are significant differences between Europeans and Asians, both in anthropometric characteristics and in the way of thinking. Because of its specificity, the Chinese qigong system is not suitable for Europeans. Slavic gymnastics was created by the ancient Slavs, therefore it is still relevant and effective for people of the Caucasian race. For this reason, for us, Slavic gymnastics has significant advantages over qigong and other health-improving systems of the East.
The Slavic gymnastics system is technically simple and affordable. For classes, no initial physical training is required. You can do it at any age, with any health condition. There are no contraindications for Slavic gymnastics.
