“The capital's law enforcement officers searched the Moscow Jewish religious community as part of a pre-investigation check launched against the leader of the Shahar Jewish movement, Alexander Kargin. As part of the investigation, anti-Semitic materials were found in his possession."

This information appeared several days ago almost simultaneously on the pages of several major Russian media and a dozen other smaller publications.

"Today, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Central Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow came to the office. The examination revealed nationalist literature that did not belong to Kargin, but was clearly planted in the office," Kargin's lawyer Igor Zuber explained to reporters last Friday. Kargin himself was also surprised by the results of the search, bluntly stating that the anti-Semitic literature of a Jewish public figure is nothing more than an anecdote. I agree. I absolutely agree with Alexander Kargin.

Library of a "Jewish public figure" seized during a search

So where did the table of controversial publications come from in the office of the leader of the Jewish movement "Shahar", located in the building of the Choral Synagogue, the main synagogue in Moscow, but what is there about Moscow, all of Russia? Is it true that the operatives planted it? This version is hard to believe. Only an outright idiot could plant anti-Semitic literature on a Jewish public figure. No, similar ones probably still survived in the ranks of our law enforcement agencies, but hardly any of them would have been sent to search the synagogue. The measure of responsibility is high, there will be resonance for any outcome of the event. It would be more logical to plant some Zionist literature, which is also abundant in Russia. If the operatives did not plant the books, if they do not belong to Alexander Kargin, then who could have brought them to the holy of holies of the Jewish people, to the Moscow Choral Synagogue? To paraphrase Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, who once said “There is such a party”, I am ready to declare that “There is such a person!”. There is one among the Jews who is able to carry such literature into the synagogue.

The name of this man is Mikhail Masharov. Jewish public figure, head of the Russian representation of the Israeli political party "Likud", head of the Russian branch of the Zionist youth movement "Shahar", as well as the head of the Russian branch of the Zionist organization "Beitar". Mikhail Masharov, a great friend of Russian nationalists of the radical wing. You are probably surprised that some facts from Masharov's biography are like two peas in a pod similar to Kargin's biography? Relax, there is no catch here, it's just that Masharov and Kargin are one and the same person. It just so happened that Alexander Kargin does not exist de jure, and the pocket of the jacket of this “fiery revolutionary” is pulled by the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, issued in the name of Mikhail Leonidovich Masharov.

Pickets in Moscow on January 21, 2016

Mikhail Leonidovich came to my attention back in 2016, at a time when, of course, surrounded by his associates, he was fighting the Hamas movement, demanding that Russia recognize him as terrorist. On January 20, 2016, Masharov sent a letter to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika, and on January 21, 2016, a number of activists of the Jewish Zionist movement "Shahar" held single pickets in front of the General Prosecutor's Office and the State Duma of the Russian Federation. They were supported by the assistant to the head of the rabbinical court of the CIS and the Baltic countries, Rabbi Shimon Levin - by the way, a member of the European Jewish Parliament, created and financed, along with punitive battalions, by the Ukrainian oligarch Kolomoisky. An amazing story later happened with Shimon Levin, in which I took a direct part. This is so, as a lyrical digression. Some time after the above-described activities related to the Palestinian movement Hamas, a video appeared on the Internet in which a man resembling Shimon Levin in the ritual attire of a rabbi was masturbating on the territory of the same Moscow Choral Synagogue. Knowing how reverently the Jews are about their ritual structures, of course I flared up and wrote a statement to the police, demanding to deal with what had happened and to establish whether the actions of a person who outwardly resemble Rabbi Shimon Levin offended the feelings of believers. But Shimon did not want to explain himself with the police officers on such a scrupulous occasion and chose to leave Russia, leaving for Israel. Hopefully forever. Here's a story. The Moscow Choral Synagogue has somehow been unlucky in recent years. Either masturbators or extremists …

So, what am I talking about? Oh, yes, about Masharov, who for some reason considers himself Kargin. Studying the biography of this public figure, I was surprised by the strong ties that the described Jewish activist has developed with representatives of Russian nationalists, who do not always have warm feelings for the sons of Israel.

“The Russians are the basis of the state and this is a given, regardless of whether someone likes it or not. However, what is happening to you now seems to be sad, to put it mildly,” how does it sound? You probably think that this appeal, addressed to the Russians, belongs to the pen of some desperate nationalist who is trying to urge the Russian people to take decisive actions aimed at awakening national identity and national pride? This is partly the correct answer, since this statement was indeed uttered, or rather written by a nationalist. Only a Jewish nationalist. Mikhail Leonidovich Masharov, who is now explaining to journalists with a surprised face that anti-Semitic literature in the library of a Jewish public figure is an exceptional absurdity.

Russian nationalists Lazarenko, Shiropaev and Kuznetsov are visiting Israel, and adopting the experience of the deputy of the Knesset Ayub Kara

If we talk about Masharov-Kargin's connections with Russian nationalists, then it is probably worth remembering his warm friendship with the leadership of the National Democratic Alliance in the person of Ilya Lazarenko and Alexei Shiropaev. Masharov's relationship with Lazarenko and Shiropaev developed as in an old good cartoon - "I respect a pirate, and I respect a cat." “Russian nationalists” attended mass events held by the Jewish community in protest against the possible recognition of the Palestinian Authority by the UN as an independent state, and “Jewish public figures” as a token of gratitude took “Russian nationalists” to Israel for internships. So, in July 2011, Ilya Lazarenko, in the company of the second co-chairman of the NDA, Alexei Shiropaev, and the head of the St. Petersburg branch of the alliance, Andrei Kuznetsov, visited Israel, where they met with the deputy of the Knesset Ayub Kara. In an interview with Israeli Channel 9, Israel Plus, which even in Israel is considered Russophobic, although it belongs to the Russian media magnate Alexander Levin, given following the meeting, Lazarenko noted that the leaders of the NDA found many points of understanding with Israeli politicians.

Russian Masharov meets in Odessa with "ATO veteran" Andrey Kuznetsov, 2014

But the friendship of the “Jewish public figure” Masharov-Kargin with Lazarenko and Shiropaev looks like a childish prank against the background of his warm relations with another extremely colorful character mentioned above - Andrei Kuznetsov, who, positioning himself as a “Russian nationalist”, managed to combine the status of the head of St. St. Petersburg branch of the National Democratic Alliance with the posts of the head of the St. Petersburg branches "Shahar" and "Beitar". In 2014, "persecuted for his beliefs" Kuznetsov left Russia and asked for political asylum from the leadership of Ukraine, which, at the request of Viktor Yushchenko, granted the request of the "Russian nationalist". In the future, Kuznetsov took part in the ATO, serving in one of the nationalist battalions, which he is incredibly proud of. Has Kargin, a "Jewish public figure", an exceptionally peaceful and demonstratively tolerant person, broke his relations with Kuznetsov, who tarnished his biography by participating in the ATO? No, of course not. Moreover, in 2014 he visited Odessa to meet with his comrade, "Russian nationalist" and ATO veteran Andrey Kuznetsov.

Founding Congress of the "Russian Center" in Kiev, October 11, 2015. All the same Kuznetsov …

Recently the surname "Kuznetsov" sounded again on the air of the central channels. This "Russian nationalist" headed the "Russian Center" - a political movement in opposition to the Kremlin, created under the control of the special services of Ukraine in Kiev and uniting opponents of the Russian government who have found shelter in Ukraine. The official goals of the movement are the formation of a Russian government abroad and underground activities in the Russian Federation. The ideological component is Russian revolutionary nationalism. A kind of "Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia", at the head of which the Nazi security service SD put the traitor Vlasov so beloved by Kuznetsov. History repeats itself twice, the first time as a tragedy, the second time as a farce. Yes, and most importantly, the assets of the "Russian Center" are mainly members of nationalist battalions, and Kuznetsov himself joined the ranks of the creators of this structure as "the leader of the military-political organization of the Russian Insurgent Army." These are the friends of our “Jewish public figure” Alexander Kargin. So answer me the question, could this person have kept anti-Semitic literature in his office?

I would also like to ask Andrey Kuznetsov about this, who is forming the “new Russian government” in Kiev, consisting mostly of the fighters of the “Azov” battalion, whose service opens the way to the much-desired status of “political refugee”. By the way, when one of the members of this formation was asked about the reasons for his participation in the hostilities, he explained to The Guardian that he was fighting against Russia because “Putin is a Jew”. According to Kuznetsov, a nationalist and most likely an ardent anti-Semite, at least in words, could his friend Mikhail Masharov keep anti-Semitic literature?

Or perhaps it is worth asking a similar question to another friend of Masharov-Kargin, Ilya Lazarenko, who participated in the activities of the Memory Society, the Christian Revival movement, the Party of the National Revolutionary Avant-garde of the Russian Nation, the Nash Marsh newspaper (later "People's system"), and also acted as the organizer of the racist - neo-pagan "Church of Navi", or the "Sacred Church of the White Race", for the violent activities in which he was condemned by the Moscow City Court due to violation of the equality of citizens on the basis of race and nationality (Article 74 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR)? According to the nationalist, more precisely the racist Lazarenko, could Masharov-Kargin have kept anti-Semitic literature in his office?

An interesting situation, isn't it? The fact that Kargin-Masharov is a double-bottomed person is as clear as daylight. But what is its essence? Who is he really? An anti-Semite who competently fit into the ranks of Jewish public figures and even headed a number of organizations significant for Jews, or a Jewish nationalist who infiltrated the ranks of Russian nationalists in order to provoke certain activity on their part, aimed primarily at confrontation with the current political regime and creating tension within the Russian society? Here is the question … Although, in my opinion, Alexander Kargin, aka Mikhail Masharov, "you are fuming for anything, except hunger strike." And what, an extremely comfortable position. Anti-Semite Jew. Sometimes a Jew, sometimes an anti-Semite. He who pays calls the tune. It only seems to me that this "author-performer" has already exhausted his repertoire.
