The story "Timur and his team" tells about teenagers who, in the difficult years of the war, helped the families of front-line soldiers. Thanks to this work and films based on it, teams of "Timurovtsy" appeared throughout the USSR.

Summer 1939. The daughters of the Soviet commander, Colonel Aleksandrov, 13-year-old Zhenya and 18-year-old Olga, come to the dacha from Moscow. By chance, Zhenya discovers that the headquarters of a mysterious organization is located in the attic of an old barn. The purpose of the organization, operating on the territory of the dacha village and consisting of several dozen boys, is to help the elderly and family members of the Red Army soldiers. The leader of the organization is 13-year-old Timur Garayev. Telling Zhenya about what they were doing, Timur explained “… from this house a man went to the Red Army. and since that time this house has been under our protection and protection. do you have a father in the army?

- Yes! - Zhenya answered with excitement and pride. - he is the commander.

- it means that you are under our protection and protection too”.

The real disaster of the village is a gang of garden thieves and hooligans led by Mishka Kvakin. Realizing that a confrontation with them could end in a mass carnage, Timur first tries to resolve the issue peacefully. A conversation with Kvakin does not yield results, but Olga notices the two of them. Considering that Timur is the same bully as Kvakin, she forbids Zhenya to communicate with Timur.

The situation is heating up: Timur's uncle Georgy, not understanding what his nephew is doing, threatens to send him home to his mother. Kvakin's hooligans, rejecting the ultimatum that Timur had given them, take his assistants Geyka and Kolya Kolokolchikov prisoner. Timur decides not to hesitate any longer. A fight takes place, as a result of which the Timurovites are victorious. The hooligans captured as a result of the clash are locked in an empty booth in the market square, so that the villagers could see those who robbed their gardens, in one of which a little girl, the daughter of Lieutenant Pavlov, who died on the border, lived with her mother. Despite Kvakin's requests to leave him with his gang, Timur lets the leader of the hooligans go, saying that "they have nothing to do with you or you with them."

At the end, Olga expresses the main idea of the story with the following phrase:

"You always think about people, and they will repay you in kind …"

The story teaches children to help people with what they can. Teaches you how to deal with troublemakers. Always be honest, kind and fair. Doing good deeds not for fame or money, but just like that.

The work shows the correct example of relationships with adults, which are depicted in the person of Olga and George. In communicating with them, the guys do not raise their voices, do not be capricious. They try to understand adults, explain the situation to them.

Also in the story you can see how Kvakin's behavior changes. At first, he considers Timur to be an enemy who must be eliminated. But over time, he begins to respect him. He begins to think about the actions of his gang. At the end of the story, he punches his former accomplice for wanting to beat Timur.

Gaidars turned out to be impostors and have nothing to do with the legendary Arkady

What is Maria Gaidar great-granddaughter of Arkady Gaidar
What is Maria Gaidar great-granddaughter of Arkady Gaidar

The current Masha Gaidar is not the granddaughter of the Soviet writer Arkady Gaidar (Golikov)! Yes, she's never a relative to him at all! Everyone, starting with her grandfather Timur, are impostors who decided to make a career for themselves with a famous surname.

It all started with Timur (on the far right in the photo). Boy Timur was not the son of Arkady Golikov-Gaidar (far left in the photo), he was not any blood relative to him at all.

When Arkady Golikov (known to everyone under the pseudonym Gaidar) married the citizen Rakhil Lazarevna Solomyanskaya, that citizen already had a three-year-old boy in her arms.

History is silent about his dad. Rakhil Lazarevna never spoke about him, even in Wikipedia it is somehow strange and confusingly written, in general, Arkady Golikov became his stepfather. True, it was not for long, since the couple soon parted and, moreover, never saw each other again.

Rakhil Lazarevna abandoned Arkady and fled to the secretary of the Shepetovsky Ukom of the RCP (b) Israel Mikhailovich Razin, who was later shot in 1938 on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary organization. Her third husband was a figure skating coach, sports journalist - Samson Volfovich Glazer.

Time passed and the quick-witted Jewish son Timur Solomyansky-Golikov, when it was time to get a passport, realized that in adulthood it would be possible to get a good job with a sonorous surname.

And then he decided to take his mother's surname … no, and not even the real surname of his stepfather, but his literary pseudonym! Clever boy, huh?

Arkady Gaidar (Golikov) could not object to him, since he had already died by that time on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. By the way, his biography is really heroic. Be sure to read it.

This family lie started from Timur "Gaidar". Then a son, Yegor, was born to the false Gaidar, who, of course, was also recorded by Gaidar, since this surname was well-known in the Soviet Union and brought great dividends.

Later, Yegor Timurovich had a daughter, Masha, who is Timur's granddaughter, but NONE of our beloved Soviet writer Arkady Gaidar belongs to! Yegor Gaidar himself became famous for his "democratic" reforms.

An interesting moment, until the age of 22, Masha herself lived under the name of Smirnov, since Yegor Timurovich abandoned her mother, Irina Smirnova, when little Masha was 3 years old.

And so, Mashenka grew up, and just like her grandfather, Timur Solomyansky, she realized that life with a loud surname would give her more career growth.

Masha quickly changed from Smirnova to Gaidar, and as we can see, she was right! By the way, in Russia she also had a good career (vice-governor of the Kirov region?) Until she knocked a 13-year-old girl to death in Kirov in her jeep and she had to urgently go to study in the United States.
