The film "About Love" was filmed with the support of two government departments in charge of cinematography - the Film Fund and the Ministry of Culture. Although not many people watched it in Russia, nevertheless, almost all official film critics highly appreciated the picture. The apogee was the presentation of the Golden Eagle national award in the main nomination for Best Film. The award was personally presented by the head of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia Nikita Mikhalkov. Well, let's evaluate what ideas and meanings the film "About Love" promotes and what it teaches.

Let's start with the headline - you can immediately feel the “love” of the Ministry of Culture for the Russian language, such is the unobtrusive support for the process of romanization of the great and mighty. But these are still flowers. The plot of the film consists of 5 separate stories, all the heroes of which are united by the fact that they have come to some courses in which the heroine of Rinata Litvinova, between flashbacks, enthusiastically talks about the physiological aspects of what is called "love" in the film. We will analyze each of the stories in detail. The first introduces viewers to the cosplay subculture, or rather, two representatives of this movement in Russia, who met in the form of Japanese cartoon characters and communicate with each other, completely immersed in the world of illusion. The essence of the story is that a young man invites his girlfriend to meet without her costumes, like normal people. However, this attempt ends in complete failure, and the guys return back to the world of illusions. The repeated departure from reality is shown as an idealized finding of the long-awaited happiness and a real happy ending. In the course of history, the guys manage to win over to their side a young police officer, who, after talking with the main characters, also decides to look for her female happiness in the world of cosplay. Thus, the given plot promotes the following meanings:

  • Subculture Advertising Cosplay
  • a call to go to the fantasy world
  • propaganda of perversion and relationship "no obligation"

Note that the film not only acquaints the mass audience with the cosplay subculture absolutely alien to us, but also in every possible way idealizes and advertises such a way of life. Pay attention even to the purely technical side of the issue, how brightly the heroes in costumes are depicted - and how gray and dull ordinary NORMAL people are. Now let's move on to the second story. She talks about the life of a secretary, whose boss offered her to buy an apartment if she slept with him. Our heroine, despite the presence of a young man, intensely ponders the boss's proposal, counts the money, fights against shame and finally agrees to earn extra money. Pushes her to this, including the passive behavior of her boyfriend, who constantly plays with tanks and refuses to talk about the wedding. Immediately after the betrayal, the heroine's life is getting better, the young man unexpectedly invites her to marry him, which makes the secretary really happy - a happy ending.

The moral of the story is simple: cheating can be good for your personal life, if the boss offers to sleep, you have to agree

The third story tells about a young Japanese woman who came to Moscow to find her love. She wants to marry a Russian because she loves Russian culture very much. The heroine met several guys in advance via the Internet and meets each of them. Most of the guys shown are either trying to get money out of her, or just sleep with her.

Most importantly, none of them know anything about classical literature, music or the history of their country. The only connoisseur and connoisseur of Russian culture is a young Japanese man who also came to Russia for a few days.

Moral of the story: Russian people are cattle, both morally (they tried to rob and drag the heroine into bed) and intellectually.

The fourth story tells about a St. Petersburg artist who sleeps with different women, and then paints their portraits on the walls of houses and other surfaces. His polygamy in the plot is explained by such a peculiar craving for creativity - they say, otherwise he has no inspiration. In fact, the plot simply justifies the betrayal and irresponsible lifestyle of the protagonist under the pretext of high art. The final story is dedicated to the leading event, which in the film symbolizes a kind of expert in the matter of love. In search of casual sex, she comes to an unfamiliar house and undresses completely. Further, it turns out that she was lured there by her ex-husband, who has a new young passion and he just needs her expert advice on whether to marry again. For 300 thousand dollars, the heroine Renata Litvinova gives her expert assessment and leaves. On the way home, she meets an artist already familiar to us, opens up her cloak in front of him, under which there is nothing, and after that the viewer is shown another graffiti on the wall of the house. Happy ending again.

In the context of the film, this story is positioned as a real sublime and great love. In reality, as in all other plots, this is just a little veiled and aesthetics-covered propaganda of perversion, voyeurism and free relationships. In addition to all of the above, there are many more immoral bookmarks in the picture. For example, the only character who, against the background of all this vulgarity, is trying to talk about eternal and strong love, turns out to be the wife of the very boss who, in the second story, dragged his secretary into bed. Another moral message with the aim of discrediting him was put into the lips of the heroine, who two minutes before that talked about the fact that she had a rich experience of intimate relationships with representatives of different nations.

To summarize, the film "About Love" is aimed at:

  • perversion propaganda
  • promoting free relationships
  • justification of adultery and licentiousness
  • discrediting the Russian people
  • advertising subculture "cosplay"

And the most important thing: in the film about love, filmed with state money, there was no place for family, children, parents, or homeland - only vulgarity, degradation and lowland.

On the example of this film, which in terms of the degree of immorality is comparable only to "50 shades of gray", it is clearly seen how the entire state machine, represented by the Ministry of Culture, the Film Fund, the Institute of Film Awards, the Institute of Official Film Critics, the head of the Union of Cinematographers, work harmoniously as a single mechanism to the degradation of the Russian audience and the promotion of vulgarity and perversion. To call a spade a spade, funding and awarding such films is an outright sabotage and betrayal of the Motherland. Everyone can get acquainted with the corpus delicti on their own by simply downloading and watching the film. We urge you to give this fact maximum publicity.

An appeal to the Presidential Administration on the prevention of the destruction of the institution of the family through the state cinema dated 2015-01-02

To the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin

APPEAL

on the actions of some state structures on the socio-psychological programming of the population of Russia to destroy the traditional institution of the family through cinematography

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich!

Today in Russia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the State Cinema Fund, numerous feature films are being released, in which the propaganda of value attitudes is clearly traced, involving young girls in prostitution and encouraging them to refuse to create a traditional family based on love, care and loyalty.

So, for example, with the support of the State Cinema Fund and the Ministry of Culture, the film "Pro Love" was released (rental certificate No. 111016615 dated September 17, 2015 in the State Register of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation), with a large number of scenes elevating lecherous behavior and perversions. Such a plot can be viewed as a deliberate action on the destruction of traditional spiritual and moral values, moral corruption and as a threat to Russia's demographic security through the destruction of the institution of the family, which completely contradicts the Fundamentals of State Cultural Policy.

The plot of the film consists of several separate stories in which the main character talks about the physiological aspects of what the film calls "love." The first acquaints viewers with the “cosplay” subculture, with two representatives of this movement in Russia, who met in the form of Japanese cartoon characters and communicate with each other, completely immersed in the world of illusion. The essence of the story is that a young man invites his girlfriend to meet without her costumes, like normal people. However, this attempt ends in complete failure, and the guys return back to the world of illusions. The repeated departure from reality is shown as an idealized finding of the long-awaited happiness and a real happy ending to the story. In the course of the story, the guys manage to win over to their side a young police officer, who, after talking with the main characters, also decides to look for her female happiness in the virtual world. The second tells about the life of a secretary, whose boss offered her to buy an apartment if she entered into an intimate relationship with him. The heroine, despite the presence of a young man, intensely ponders the boss's proposal, counts the money, fights with shame and, in the end, agrees to earn extra money. Pushes her to this, including the passive behavior of her boyfriend, who constantly plays computer games and refuses to talk about the wedding. Immediately after the betrayal, the heroine's life is getting better, the young man unexpectedly invites her to marry him, which makes the secretary truly happy - again a happy ending to the story. The moral of the story is simple: cheating can be good for your personal life, and if someone offers an intimate relationship for money, you have to agree. The third story tells about a young Japanese woman who came to Moscow to find her love. She wants to marry a Russian because she loves Russian culture very much. The heroine met several guys in advance via the Internet and meets each of them. Most of the guys shown are either trying to get money out of her, or just take advantage of her. Most importantly, none of them know anything about classical literature, music or the history of their country. The only connoisseur and connoisseur of Russian culture is a young Japanese man who also came to Russia for a few days. The moral of the story is extremely simple: the Russian people are degrading cynical and vile swindlers.

On January 27, 2016, after an interview with the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation V. R. Medinsky's Polish television channel TVP had a famous scandal, after which some deputies of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation announced that Russophobia had been elevated to the rank of state policy in Poland. Unfortunately, after watching films made in Russia with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Cinema Foundation, we can state that Russophobia and the destruction of everything traditionally Russian in Russia has also been elevated to the rank of state policy. By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated October 7, 2015 No. 503 "On holding the Year of Russian Cinema in the Russian Federation", 2016 was approved as the Year of Russian Cinema. Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of December 31, 2015 No. 683 "On the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation" one of the threats to the national security of Russia approved the erosion of traditional spiritual and moral values through external cultural and informational expansion (including the distribution of low-quality products of mass culture), and also indicated that the National Security Strategy of Russia is being implemented by consolidating the efforts and resources of state authorities and local authorities, developing their interaction with civil society institutions, and that the provisions of this Strategy are mandatory for all state authorities.

In addition to state documents, it should be noted that the Ethical Charter of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia identifies as one of the main priorities for cinematographers the orientation towards traditional for Russia moral, religious family and social values. But in clear contradiction to this priority of its work, the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, with the personal support of the Chairman of the Board of the Union, honors the film "Pro Love" with the national prize "Golden Eagle" in the main nomination "For Best Film". A film in which human vulgarity, degradation and lowland were demonstrated for state budget funds, and in which there was no place for family, children, parents, or homeland.

It is obvious that a single mechanism represented by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Cinema Foundation, the Institute of Cinema Awards, the Institute of Official Film Critics, the Union of Cinematographers works harmoniously to degrade the Russian viewer, promotes the decomposition of society, the family and causes colossal damage to the demographic, emotional and psychological security of Russia. Considering that, according to the Constitution of Russia, the imperativeness of the President's actions in conducting domestic policy is most fully manifested in his relationship with the Government and that the President has the right to give instructions to the Government, I ask you to exercise your right and recommend to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in the Year of Russian Cinema (and beyond) not to provide financial (or other) support in the production of feature films with hidden propaganda of the destruction of family values, so that films that meet only the strategic objectives of the country's development and the needs of society, carry a serious, creative and educational force, educational and creative charge, promote traditional for Russia spiritual, moral and family values. In turn, the citizens of Russia are ready to support the efforts of the federal executive authorities in all matters of ensuring and strengthening the national and demographic security of Russia.
