Let's continue with the artifacts of the Slavic lands

An expedition of the Black Sea Underwater Archeology Project discovered more than 40 perfectly preserved ships of the Ottoman and Byzantine empires at the bottom of the Black Sea

According to the expedition leader, Professor John Adams:

"The main task of our project was to conduct geophysical studies to identify the burial sites of ships, as well as collect data that would tell us about the history of the Black Sea."

Archaeologists note that due to the low oxygen content, the ships dating back to the ancient era are perfectly preserved. Searches were carried out in accordance with a map of ancient routes that connected Byzantium with neighboring states.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL SENSATION OF YAMAL! Here, in the Krasnoselkup region, the money of the French king was found.

With each such find, Tyumen scientists are getting closer and closer to the cherished goal - to find the capital of the Karakon region - this is how a large settlement founded by the Selkups is called in archival documents. It is believed that they moved to the Taz River from the middle Ob region in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, but the artifacts found in the excavation area cast doubt on this.

Olga Pashekhonova, Researcher, Physical Anthropology Sector, Institute for Problems of Northern Development, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said:

“These are the objects, finding which, you catch your breath, and your hands begin to shake. This is especially true of jewelry. The objects used in everyday life are also indicative, unique, for example, a rather large object - a Siberian palm tree, an original West Siberian weapon."

Weapons, household items, ornaments are only a small part of the evidence of the events that took place on the Selkup land hundreds of years ago.

The result of the joint work of archaeologists, anthropologists and ethnographers should be a monograph dedicated to one of the smallest peoples inhabiting Yamal.

Let's not forget about holidays, parties and other useful events

The festival of ethical creativity "UralVeganFest" will be held in Chelyabinsk

At the festival, residents of Chelyabinsk, leading an ethical lifestyle, can show their talents, communicate with like-minded people, and learn something new.

The event is designed for a wide audience. For Chelyabinsk residents who are not familiar with veganism, this is a great opportunity to learn about how the ethical community lives and breathes.
