Concern "Kalashnikov" at the international forum "Army-2018" presented a test version of the electric concept car, created on the basis of the retro-body IZH-21252 "Combi".

The electric vehicle prototype is based on technologies developed by Russian engineers. In particular, a high-speed modular battery management system, as well as a charge controller. The supercar's battery allows for a capacity of up to 1.2 MW. The vehicle's power reserve is 350 kilometers. The developers note that the car is capable of accelerating to 100 km per hour in just 6 seconds.

Sofia Ivanova, director of external communications of the concern, told RBC: “We are talking about competing with Tesla, because it is currently a successful project in the field of electric vehicles. We expect at least not to yield to him."

The rated power of the electric car is 220 kW, the peak power is 500 kW, the power reserve on one charge is 350 kilometers.

From Kalashnikov's own developments, CV-1 uses a modular battery management system that allows reaching 2000A (in the future 3000A) and a balancing system of elements, as well as a common on-board computer that monitors the state of the engine, inverter and battery.

The company presented the electric car at the Army-2018 forum.
