Domestic tractor construction is known all over the world for its products. In 2004, the production of the universal tractor RT-M-160 began at the sites of Uralvagonzovod. The tractor was equipped with a YMZ-236D-2 engine of domestic production with liquid cooling. The power of this power unit is 175 hp. Fuel consumption - 162 g / h.p.
As the owners of this machine note, the tractor has unique maneuverability, which is endowed with all four steering wheels. RT-M-160 has a semi-frame design, the differential lock of the rear axle is compulsory, the front axle is automatic.
As for the operator's workplace, the cab has good sound insulation, airtightness, as well as finishing with high-quality materials. The presence of a regular air conditioner and heater is provided. The column with the steering wheel forms a single unit with the dashboard, which can be quickly deployed 180 degrees when reversing.
The tractor was produced from 2004 to 2009 and was in good demand in the Sverdlovsk region, Udmurtia, and was also exported to Bulgaria. In the late 2000s, it was decided to discontinue the serial production of this vehicle. The equipment was manufactured according to Russian technologies and from domestic components. Over the years of production, the RT-M-160 has received recognition at the International Salon of Inventions, New Technology and Products in Geneva.
