The incredible is happening before our eyes - the popularity of Comrade Stalin is growing among the Russian people. It grows from year to year. And what is absolutely incredible, Stalin's popularity is growing among young people. It could be assumed that after the "truth" of the 90s, the name of Stalin would be remembered only by professional historians and political scientists. And young people will turn their backs on the "mustachioed leader" forever. But, something went wrong with the architects of the restructuring as planned …

A few days ago, quite by chance, I read a report by one of the theater critics for the play "Unclean Power" based on the novel of the same name by Pikul, which was staged at the "Commonwealth of Taganka Actors". The play takes place against the backdrop of old newsreels. And as soon as Stalin was shown on the screen, "stormy and prolonged applause" sounded in the hall. What surprised the critic the most? In the hall, in the main, were not the veterans of the CPSU, but young people, quite intelligent theatrical appearance …

At all times, young people stood for novelty in society. How in the 90s did the young people denounce the communists and Comrade Stalin personally? The old people traditionally were for the antiquity, for the "scoop". And now the world has somehow turned upside down … The pillars of the creative intelligentsia and business are for progressive liberalism, and the young want Stalin. What is it like?

After all, there was a logical hope that the old people would leave and Stalinism would have a complete and final end. And when the victory was already close, suddenly the "ideological unity of the people" began to revive and grow stronger. And this is no longer just a unity, but a socialist unity that includes both grandfathers and grandchildren. This union is not yet overwhelming, but it can no longer be ignored. Especially if you understand that this “consensus” is based on an idea that will quickly lead its followers from purely ideological unity to organizational unity. And there it is not far from the units of the Red Guard.

Remember the measured tread of the iron proletarian battalions and about "your last hour comes the bourgeois"?

And this is without any propaganda of Stalin's personality. So, write individual, often not very literate authors. Often they don't call for anything. For the most part, these are statistics from the times of the USSR, memories, black-and-white photographs.

And how many anti-Soviet and anti-Stalinist materials were published, filmed, and promoted? At night, arrogant cruel NKVDeshniks burst into the apartment and take them away forever. Crying children and an inconsolable mother … Damn you forever and ever !!!

And it is true. In those years, a huge number of people disappeared. This trouble did not pass my family either.

But what funny story happened? All this anti-Stalinist propaganda very soon turned into a terry Russophobia, and the main sufferers were not all repressed citizens of the USSR, but individual "outstanding personalities." And these especially promoted personalities, on closer examination, turned out to be not so sinless. There were conspiracies, and theft, and sabotage, and outright betrayal.

The irony of fate: they wanted to moan Stalin and Stalinism, but worked for the benefit of the Father of Nations. Repression is certainly not a very good thing, but somehow it was necessary to stop the presumptuous and snickering elite. That which was supposed to completely discredit the name itself and forever and ever turn people away from Stalin made him attractive and even desirable. In modern Russia, catastrophic material inequality and outright rudeness of the "elites" and their entourage, open betrayal of the country and the people, is working to revive the name of the Great Stalin!

What else attracts young people in the image of the Generalissimo? Household modesty and selflessness. He lived simply, did not start accounts in the West, did not build mansions for himself and his children, did not give out state enterprises to relatives for feeding. When he died, he didn't even have a decent suit to lie in a coffin. And this, you see, Stalin is very different from the current powers that be.

Let's remember who was the hero of Stalin's time? Designers, scientists, military leaders, artists, writers, polar pilots and even ordinary workers. Where did all these people come from? From the people. It was they who created the “great leap forward” that human history has not yet known, without any exaggeration. Today they talk about the "American dream", but our country had its own "Soviet dream", when a "simple boy from the village" could become a general, a scientist, a plant director, a people's artist. And today talent and desire alone is not enough. Yes, this is how the entire “civilized world” lives, but we live in Russia. And it was not so in our Russia before. It was fairer. There were isolated cases of nepotism, for which, however, they were punished.

And how can one go upstairs from the people today? If you are not a son or heir? Almost impossible.

And what else do people lack today and what is associated with the name of Stalin? The Father of the Nations punished mercilessly for lies. It is a well-known fact that from all the people with whom he communicated, Stalin demanded the truth, a substantive knowledge of his business. With a huge workload, he invited designers, plant directors, scientists to his place. It is impossible to achieve the desired result without knowing the real state of affairs.

And today, outright lies have become the norm. The ministers are lying from the screen with inspiration and "like water off a duck's back." We are surrounded by just a sea of lies: from promises of politicians to fake sausages. At home, a young man is taught that lying is not good, but this man lives in a world where everything is built on lies.

Learn to take a worthy place in this world … In what world, what worthy place? The school teaches to successfully pass the exam, the university teaches in order to receive government subsidies. Everybody lies and everything is not real.

My grandfather graduated from school, went to college and went to work in his specialty. And I received my salary on the 15th of every month. And he moved up the career ladder, got an apartment, went to the sea on a free ticket.

And how can a young man, who is planned, from childhood, feel like a person without a certain kind of occupation and with a vague future, not to envy his grandfather, who lived hard, but had a purpose in life, his place and a dream?

So the youth applauded Stalin in the theater. They are already waiting for him, which means he will appear. Not in a military jacket and a mustache, without a pipe and a sly grin. The guise will be different. But, it will be - just give it a time limit.

If those who call themselves the Russian elite today don’t come to their senses.

Stalin made the greatest impression on us. His influence on people was overwhelming. When he entered the hall of the Yalta conference, all of us, as if on command, stood up and, strangely enough, for some reason kept our hands at the seams.

He possessed a deep, free from any panic, logical and meaningful wisdom. Stalin was an unsurpassed master of finding ways out of the most hopeless situation in difficult moments. In the most difficult moments, as well as in moments of celebration, he was equally restrained, never succumbed to illusions. He was an unusually complex person. He created and subjugated a huge empire. He was a man who destroyed his enemy with his own hands and forced us, whom he openly called imperialists, to rebel against the imperialists.

Stalin was the greatest, unparalleled dictator in the world. He accepted Russia with a plow, and left it equipped with atomic weapons.

Not! No matter what they say about him, history and peoples do not forget such leaders.

Stalin did not become a thing of the past - he disappeared into the future.
