This article is my public act of respect. Konstantin Petrovich Kharchenko, a Russian inventor and scientist who devoted tens of years of his life to the development of military radio electronics and along the way tried to comprehend the secrets of the microworld. Having once designed a short-wave antenna "OB-E" for the military, he discovered that radio waves, which are still said in all universities in the world that these are "transverse electromagnetic oscillations", it turns out, can be longitudinal! What the modern paradigm of science does not provide in any way! Hence the appeal of K. P. Kharchenko, engineer, inventor, scientist to his compatriots: “Russians, you have a head start… Don't waste time. Physics must be done again! "

At one time, I was also engaged in radio electronics for more than a dozen years. From his youth he was a radio amateur, in adulthood he worked as a radio operator on sea vessels, while constantly studying the history of physics and all the time trying to solve the riddle, how does a radio transmitter antenna generate radio waves ?! While still studying in sailing and listening to the lectures of A. Ya. Shuster, a teacher of the theory of radio navigation devices, I realized that theorists do not make ends meet, that is, they wishful thinking in their theory, but in fact, when radio waves are born, they occur completely different processes than physicists and teachers tell and prove to all students with the help of mathematics. So I wanted to unravel the secret of radio waves for many years. And it so happened that without knowing anything about the research and findings of K. P. Kharchenko, without reading his articles, I once came to the same conclusions as he:

Kharchenko, his theoretical calculations, explaining the principle of operation of his antenna "OB-E", accompanied by a reference to the authoritative opinion of another Soviet scientist Rimiliy Fedorovich Avramenko (1932-1999), weapons designer, deputy director of NIIRP, doctor of technical sciences and professor, who made the conclusion even earlier: "The fact of the absence of an induction electric field (in vacuum) leads to the need for a complete revision of the foundations of modern theoretical physics, starting from the initial concepts …".

This is what Konstantin Petrovich Kharchenko wrote in his "Anniversary Confession", published in the magazine "Infomost" No. 4 (44) for 2006, when our hero turned 75 years old.

Yampolsky, I could to bypass the obstacles created for it, and not only to create a prototype antenna with unique properties, but also to build a complex of such antennas (the Gamma complex) on the territory of several military radio intelligence units for the needs of the Soviet Army and the USSR Ministry of Defense!

According to the conclusion of a number of technical specialists, the OB-E antenna is capable of covering more than 20 times the frequency range without any adjustment and tuning, while maintaining its properties - it is much superior in efficiency to the OB Beverage antenna with the same length and diameter of the conductor with a traveling wave and its height suspension over the same "ground". All these advantages of the OB-E antenna over the OB antenna are provided by the fact that a wave process arises in the Kharchenko antenna in the conductor body, the propagation rate of which is exceeds the speed of light in a vacuum(V> C).

Konstantin Petrovich Kharchenko in his book "Radiant energy …"(2009, publishing house "Radiosoft", ISBN 978-5-93037-202-1), considered it necessary to show who to him actively opposed and gagged, not even allowing publication of materials on this antenna in Soviet scientific and popular science publications, despite the fact that its OB-E antennas were actively used at military facilities of the USSR Ministry of Defense!

Kharchenko: “In an atmosphere of constant time pressure, I sometimes remember the Russian Academy of Sciences - the Olympus of Russian science and think, what is its role in the current creative life of a Russian researcher? Without an answer, I leave the RAS alone, since if it does not help me, then it does not interfere., in theory, deals with fundamental issues in science. Perhaps, the fate of the current electrodynamics does not bother her. Or, perhaps, the Russian Academy of Sciences does not know that it does not know "radio waves - what is this?"

So now I begin my story.

To begin with, let's go back more than 100 years ago in history, to the time when there was no rigorous scientific generally accepted theory of radio waves, but there were views on the nature of radio waves of individual people, pioneers of the scientific and technological revolution.

At the first glance at this figure, an analogy arises with the scheme of a transmitter and receiver of electromagnetic waves, which is familiar to a radio engineer. This is not entirely true.

So, Tesla did not separate matter and ether, believing these concepts to be interrelated. In this we find analogies with the views of Faraday. In his letter "Reflections on Electrical Conductivity on the Nature of Matter" to Richard Taylor, Esq., Royal Institution, June 25, 1844, Faraday writes that matter is continuous everywhere: “matter is present everywhere, there is no intermediate space not occupied by it … So, matter will be continuous everywhere and, considering its mass, we do not need to assume the difference between its atoms and some intermediate space. The forces around the centers impart to these centers the properties of the atoms of matter."

These important analogies of the views of Faraday and Tesla on the nature of matter, electricity and ether will help us understand the principle of operation of Kharchenko's OB-E antenna.

And one more curious moment. In his patent No. 787, 412 "The art of transferring energy through natural environments" (dated April 18, 1905) Tesla noted that in his experiment the average speed of longitudinal waves of electrical nature, causing over the surface of the Earth standing wave effect, was 471240 km / s! That is, V exceeded C by almost one and a half times!

Now, having such a set of initial knowledge, let's return first to the single-wire antenna of the traveling wave of G. Beverage, and then to the OB-E antenna of K. P. Kharchenko.

Now look what K. P. Kharchenko did, who himself says that he upgraded the OB Beverage antenna and received a qualitatively different OB-E antenna, which is more than an order of magnitude superior to the OB antenna in terms of efficiency and gain. Moreover, it is already clear that all these advantages in the OB-E antenna arose exclusively due to the fact that the phase velocity of electrons along the conductor in a traveling wave became superluminal and is numerically equal to 1.05-1.1 times the speed of light. And in the antenna OB Beverage, this speed of movement of electrons is subluminal and is numerically equal to 0.82-0.88 of the speed of light.

Actually, everything written above is true. All the advantage of the OB-E antenna over the OB antenna is only that the phase velocity of the electrons along the wire 3 is superluminal. Another question is, how has this been achieved? What is the physical process? And why does it not fit into the modern theory of radio waves?

In practice, Konstantin Petrovich Kharchenko simply added additional wires 1 and 5 to the design of the OB-antenna, the length of which is taken from the calculation of 1/4 of the length of the largest wave at which this antenna should work. And this gave a phenomenal gain in antenna efficiency!

And why such a positive effect has arisen remains a mystery to everyone! Because the physics of the phenomenon is not clear! And it is not clear because all modern scientists are in the illusion that radio waves are some kind of "electromagnetic oscillations" capable of propagating even in complete emptiness, without the presence of a medium, due to the fact that an alleged vortex magnetic field gives rise to a vortex electric field, and the vortex electric field then again gives rise to a vortex magnetic field, and so on ad infinitum … They have been talking about this for almost 100 years in all universities!

And this is despite the fact that the scientist Rimiliy Fedorovich Avramenko (1932-1999), Soviet weapons designer, Doctor of Technical Sciences and professor once discovered in the course of experiments that "there is no induction electric field in a vacuum!"

Since I once solved the riddle of the OB-E antenna, which even the author himself did not fully solve, I want to lead other people to understand its secret.

What ideas were guided by K. P. Kharchenko when he was transforming the OB antenna of Beverage?

It seems to me that he took an OB Beverage antenna and combined it with an antenna of the "half-wave Hertz dipole" type, which consists of two conductors, each of which has a length equal to 1/4 wave.

But how did Kharchenko do this combination ?!

He mentally took two half-wave Hertz dipoles, placed them coaxially to each other and placed a long Beverage wire between them, in which a traveling wave of electric current is created. Having assembled such a structure, he fed one half-wave Hertz dipole from a microwave generator (transmitter), and loaded the second Hertz dipole with Kharchenko with a powerful resistor capable of dissipating that part of the power of the traveling microwave current that does not have time to be converted into radio wave energy. And woo-a-la, the OB-E antenna with its fantastic properties turned out!

Well, what's the trick? Next is the fun part!

First, notice that Hertzian dipoles generate waves in a plane perpendicular to the vibrator rods! In the direction of the rods, the "Hertz dipole" does not emit radio waves!

Second, notice that in traveling wave antenna radio waves are born and spread towards the wireas if the wire were the barrel of a machine gun, and the "quanta" of the radio waves were sequentially fired bullets.

KP Kharchenko, having studied the properties of the OB-E antenna, wrote, "along with the traveling wave (electrons), there is one more wavestructure similar to wave in a circular waveguideif you look at the end of the conductor. "This wave, due to its obvious properties, he described as longitudinal.

From the point of view of modern physics, the discovery of this wave during the study of the operation of the OB-E transmitting antenna is really pioneering discovery.

On the other hand, we already know that more than 100 years ago Nikola Tesla argued that Hertz's shear waves, as he described them in theory, are a myth! In fact, the transmitter antenna "produces sound waves on the air, the behavior of which is similar to the behavior of sound waves in air, except that the enormous elasticity and extremely low density of this medium makes their speed equal to the speed of light."

No matter how we treat Tesla's words now, the antennas of the traveling wave OB and OB-E, by their work, unambiguously indicate that electrons moving along the conductor can generate not only a vortex magnetic field around the conductor, but also radio waves propagating along the axis of the conductor, along the paths of the electrons, i.e. longitudinal waves … And this is a NEW PHENOMENON for modern science! And let it be for real well forgotten old, but since the words of Nikola Tesla were not included in the paradigm of modern science due to the enthusiasm of the curators of physics with Maxwell's "Electromagnetic Theory", then Russian engineer and scientist Konstantin Petrovich Kharchenko, we must recognize the discoverer of longitudinal radio waves!
