The beginning of this theme was laid in the series The Birth of a Letter. Time has passed since the publication, and the discovery of the koloslovitsy (square Cyrillic alphabet) and patterned writing helped to significantly deepen and expand the understanding of the issue. Much of what will be written has already flashed in the comments, private dialogues and on my pages on social networks. The time has come to collect all this, summarize and bring to the reader's judgment.

Our theme is closely related to the understanding of writing as a Divine given. This approach is known in many cultures. Actually, throughout the entire history of writing, practically in parallel with its utilitarian development, there is a process of its inevitable sacralization, i.e. connection of the letter with the Veda, with a certain knowledge and worldview.

The hypothesis of the existence of a letter given by God is not so fantastic if you believe in something similar to God:) But the legends of obtaining such a letter are all the same as a carbon copy. God or his representative comes, lays out the alphabet and begins to dictate the "rules of life" which then become Holy Scripture and lie in the foundation of a particular religion. So the birth of Devanagari (Sanskrit) made it possible to write down the Indian Vedas, the Hebrew writing made it possible to write down the Torah, and Kufi made it possible to write down the Koran. Finally, the Old Russian initial letter is now being put into the basis of the Slavic Vedas through the zeal of the Asgard Spiritual School and its followers.

At the same time, when examining Russian writing in the sacred worldview plane, the central issue of many discussions is still the "dispute about the number of letters." More precisely, not even a dispute, but a struggle for this amount according to the principle "the more the better." The dispute must be said to be unique, we do not observe anything like this in other written traditions.

The main argument, for example, of the supporters of the Old Russian initial letter or the All-World Literacy (WASH) in their favor is based on the myth of the malicious circumcision of the primordial alphabet, which deprived it of its imagery and sacred power.

By publishing this material, I will try to show the initial senselessness of these disputes and the limitations of the approach itself … at the risk of losing a significant number of friends … but as they say: "Plato is my friend …":) More precisely, the dispute about the number of letters makes sense for servicing the phonetics of the language, but not in any way its sacred essence.

The African Dogon tribe tells an interesting legend. It is, of course, considered an invention, and the source is not scientific at all … But my regular readers know that I prefer to read the lead not where it is indicated by learned men or religious scholars. Sometimes the inscriptions on the fence are enough …:)

1. WHAT DOES ACCOUNT DO? … and we are still not catching up:)

Perhaps you have read the book ALLAT RA by Anastasia Novykh.

I will cite the history of the Dogon with a direct quote from this book.

The two "guiding signs" are signs that can only be used by the one whom they call Amma in their mythology. But the eight "main signs" are creative signs that, when a certain force is applied to them, figuratively speaking, like a key to a lock, open up some possibilities for managing the processes of both creation and destruction. It is very rare, but it happens that the "main signs" become available to a human being."

I don’t know who this story belongs to - whether the Dogon, Marcel Griaule (a French ethnographer who studied the Dogon) or Anastasia Novykh … I don’t urge you to believe in it at all. Just stay in the space of this myth for a bit:)

2. PRIMORDIAL (NUCLEAR) ABC

I would like to draw the reader's attention to the most interesting research carried out by Sergei Balyberdin in his blog. There are many interesting things, but I want to use some of Sergey's conclusions regarding the composition of the ancient Russian original alphabet. The author, having his own worldview interpretations of letters, in terms of the composition of the alphabet relies on the research of official science, in particular on the work of the school of A. A. Zaliznyak.

In this article, he gives a table of the Old Russian alphabet, dividing the letters into originally Russian and the letters introduced through the Christian tradition or borrowed.

He classifies the following 25 letters as originally Russian. I give them right away in the square Cyrillic script so as not to confuse the graphemes in the future.

Before us is the shortest of the historically conditioned Russian alphabet. Or nuclear in the terminology of Zaliznyak. More precisely, its alphabetic composition, for the letters themselves in it were of course somewhat different, close to the Charter.

Here you can start throwing slippers at the academician, Sergei, well, for one thing at me, since I am citing these results here:) Following the logic of the fighters for the quantity, the size of the “sin” here is more abrupt than that of the Salun brothers, Peter the Great and Lunacharsky combined:)

But if we leave the "religious wars", then perhaps we are dealing with traces of the same Divine alphabet that can still be traced historically. Note that these results were obtained on the basis of studies of the Novgorod Codex, which was discovered in 2000, - the oldest written source (recognized by science), dating from the end of the 10th to the beginning of the 11th century. Those. he is older than the famous Ostromir Gospel …

Below I will show that the composition of these 25 letters is actually not accidental … In the meantime, I will express a couple more hypotheses.

It must be admitted that the composition of the nuclear alphabet was revealed from a written source that has a utilitarian, albeit religious, character, i.e. the letter may have already taken some step from the divine given. And, perhaps, there should be even fewer letters …:)

And the second thing. Christianity did not truncate our alphabet, but exactly the opposite, introduced into it "superfluous" to serve confessional interests. Perhaps quite recently from the Novgorod Code, writing was still not needed at all … And not because of the savagery of the people, but solely because of their true proximity to God … Before proceeding with the further narration, I will show one feature of the nuclear alphabet that leads to interesting consequences. The peculiarity is visible here in this picture.

From this picture, you can see that the nuclear alphabet consists of four groups of letters. It is in the square Cyrillic alphabet that we can clearly observe this.

one. Centrally symmetric narrow (I, I, H, O, P, X, C). These letters do not change when they are reflected to the right or left, and they are three elementary squares wide. There are seven such letters!

2. Centrally symmetrical wide (F, T, F, W). These letters also do not change when they are reflected to the right or left, and they are five elementary squares wide. There are four of them.

3. Right letters (B, C, G, E, K, R, C). These letters are "drawn" to the right of the central generatrix of the mast and they change when they are reflected to the left. There are seven such letters!

4. Left letters (A, D, Z, L, M, U, H). These letters are "drawn" to the left of the central generatrix of the mast and they change when they are reflected to the right. There are seven such letters!

There is one exception in this group - the letter M. It is definitely left, but it is clearly knocked out by its dimension of five squares. Note this fact, it is possible that she does not quite belong here. Until I comment on the picture, I'm even ready to write off all this as an accident, although, as you know, there are no accidents:)

3. SIGNS OF AMMA OR THE GREAT COMBINATOR

The title of the chapter is absolutely win-win:)). If all of the following is true, then the Creator can certainly be called the Great Combinator, but if not, then you can safely associate the author with Ostap Bender …:) Let's imagine for a moment that the Dogon mythology has some real ground. Then it is strange that the AMMA system of signs described above, having a powerful internal logic, is not at all reflected in the history of writing or any other sign system … In any case, I have not seen such an approach. Maybe I was looking badly:) If any of the readers knows something, I will be grateful for the information.

All written systems simply appear in the historical arena as a given, containing a finite and rather large number of signs and, naturally, already being tied to a particular language. The feeling that the very beginning of the process of creating a letter is hidden or lost does not leave. Or all the historical examples of writing known to us do not have a sacred basis, i.e. exclusively utilitarian, and we are looking for a black cat that is not? As they say - or one of two:)

By the way, the Dogon themselves do not have a written language, and all these stories (if they are not fiction) are only oral legends.

However, we can solve this riddle through the now discovered square Cyrillic alphabet!

3.1 AMMA guide signs

To begin with, what is “kizi uzi” or a grain of software? It is your will, but I see a grain here O:) i.e. the measure of the primary square from which the world and literal creation begins …

These are really guiding signs, they set the direction and logic of cognition of the world through the image of the Almighty O and the imaginary I contained within him. This is the basis of the structure of the Divine Matrix itself. This is a ray and a ball in the terminology of the Righteous. Start counting ONCE. The same pair, as you know, controls our computers in their already digital quality, i.e. through binary code. By the way, they are also in the nuclear alphabet …:)

The dogon's conviction in the incomprehensibility of the guiding signs for a person is easy to explain if you try to explain the essence of the binary code to an ordinary unprepared person. It won't just be:). I think this knowledge of the Dogon itself is something like a cargo cult with the fundamental principles that have been lost for a long time.

It is interesting to look at the very name of the Dogon primordial god - AMMA. The syllable structure of the name is very familiar to us, the word is clearly from the PRA … First, it is a palindrome, which indicates one of the names of the Most High. Secondly, this is MAMA in charming post-verbal reading … Thirdly, it is very much in tune with the first sound of Creation - OM or AUM …

The syllables AM and MA are also familiar to us. They reflect each other - one of the readings is Sacrifice.

Draw your own conclusions, and we'll go further …:)

If AMMU is asked how many characters are in his system, he will answer that Two. And following modern logic, AMMA was robbed by evil forces almost to the state of a beggar:) I think that up to this point, the hypothesis can be considered quite logical, but further …

3.2. The main signs of AMMA

Inspired by the grouping of the nuclear alphabet shown in Figure 2 above, we will build the following simple scheme. I have repeatedly referred to the image of the octagon in my works. In the series "The Sign of Four", in particular, the spatial definition of top-bottom, right-left in the material world was derived from it. The octagon is widely used in the practice of patterned writing and colologians and, by the way, is of great importance in the practices of the Sufi sacred tradition. And this is not a mere coincidence … Somehow I will write about it. For now, let's just take it as the basis of our constructions.

It will come in handy for us as soon as we have divided the nuclear alphabet into central, right and left letters. On the vertical axis of the rhombus, we will place centrally symmetric signs, and on the sides, respectively, right and left. The first approach to the bar is to place in the center the letter O and at the corners of the rhombus four states of the maximum possible filling of the matrix O, when it still has the potential of movement in one measure of the square. Wrote tricky:), but I think from the picture below it is clear what this is about.

All four signs differ from O only in the missing elementary square, and meanwhile we got three familiar letters of our alphabet … These are C, P and C. Yes, of course, we write C with a remote element, but in this case we will omit it for clarity. The sacred essence of the letter is Integrity, fullness, therefore it looks like a glass:). Its vertical reflection is the letter P i.e. emptiness or ignorance, and the glass will be overturned:)

The reflection of the letter C horizontally gave us its left clone, which is not represented in our alphabet, but it is in the square Cyrillic alphabet and is known as O-ligature. But now we will not talk about it, and we will leave him as an unknown … Moreover, he is obviously not in the nuclear alphabet. As already mentioned, all these four letters demonstrate the phases of movement, but there is one more letter missing, which begins the process of filling the matrix O and actually means movement. This is the letter G. We place it at the vertices of the square, reflecting it according to the rules of the octagon.

You can applaud or throw rags, but at the tops of the octagon are the very eight main signs of AMMA that we are looking for … So to speak, the core-core …:) I will even put them in a row here for greater clarity.

The fact that four of them (in black) are not known to us indicates how far the modern writing has moved away from the original. Well, do not forget that these signs were given not actually for writing, but as a basis for creating an alphabet. I suspect that anyone, but this is still an impudent statement:) Although everything is relative, and we can at least see there the Latin L and its vertical reflection is also L, only Kufic Arabic. If you delve into the historical bottom sections, then probably other "pokers" will be found somewhere. Maybe some of the readers have even seen something similar …

If you think I'm kidding or fantasizing, here are some compelling graphic evidence. Look closely at the diagram of Figure 7 again.

1. Four pokers G, with ligature conjugation, return the original O

2. The two upper Gs with ligature conjugation give P that between them

3. The two lower Gs with ligature conjugation give Ts that between them

4. The right letters Г give in conjugation С

5. The left letters Г give in conjugation С-reflected.

6. C and C-reflected in the ligature return the original O

7. P and C in the ligature also return the original O.

It was possible to paint all this in detail, but I think it’s clear … And it’s hard to believe in such coincidences of graphics and sacred meanings.

As the saying goes: "What is more?":)) But we also have more.

4. INFORMATION FOR REFLECTION - SYMBOLOGICAL RUNES …

The given assembly-disassembly of O from seven points showed that the kernel is built on ligature conjugations, i.e. this mechanism is laid in the very foundation. In fact, before us is nothing more than syllable runes, but most of the syllables are completely unknown to us or difficult to pronounce. I won't even try, but you never know what …:) AMMA, judging by the legends, is a serious man, and maybe even a woman at all:)

But I would venture to publish such a schematic diagram. I warn you that the scheme is hefty raw, it's like decoding a dream and what was seen there, God knows … It's just that in it we can fix not only the next level of construction of the system of syllabic runes, but also the primary syllables, i.e. the beginning of speech recording and, accordingly, the point of transformation of the alphabet from a magic instrument into a language instrument …

Several explanations for the figure. Let's try to read here what is read in Russian, leaving other syllabic riddles overboard for future research.

1. We read the right horizontal. CO gives the syllabic rune B in conjunction, which is our letter B in combination:) Exactly the same operation on the left horizontal (alas, we cannot read it) gives us the syllabic rune D, which "accidentally" is a reflection of the letter B obtained on the right.

2. Mysterious pokers G with mast mates at the top form the letter T, and below the letter W which (probably by accident:)) are vertical reflections of each other. This is the outline highlighted in red, hopefully you can see … Creation and Destruction. It was written about it earlier. The reading of the syllables, however, is also lost here …

3. We read the right diagonal. GO (the divine primary syllable about which a lot has been written) gives us the letter P i.e. divine Light or Light of Creation. The letter P forms a blue contour of its reflections of which we, besides herself, are also familiar … b is a soft sign and it is located just like a reflection of P down …

4. The blue contour of signs (P) behaves similarly to the behavior of the contour D earlier, i.e. generates letters by conjugation. The upper ones give the letter F in the mast coupling and the right letter B Their reflections, although they seem familiar, are clearly not from our circle. Although the reflected B is, for example, in the glagolitic and this is the letter O there. But let's not talk about it now.

5. By the way, the letter B, being on the right horizontal, can also be obtained as the syllable BO and as the syllable RO, i.e. here we already have the multivariance of the formation of syllable runes. And mind you, all the syllables are sacred and we are well aware … It is clear that at the other ends of the octagon, the behavior in conjugation is completely similar, but we cannot read anything there yet …

Again, Figure 9 is a trial balloon for discussion. Already now he raises questions that will change some of the particulars in this scheme. It's about the principle.

And now some statistics on the work done.

So, we received with you 22 characters of which 14 belong to our alphabet and 13 of these 14 are in the nuclear alphabet of Zaliznyak !! I don't know how, but I was impressed by you:) In fact, there are more beeches already manifested, because we must remember the sacred formula:

Those. we can quite legitimately add two more letters I and H to the manifested set. They are contained in the guiding signs of AMMA as a hidden part. What else can you notice … In addition to the direction signs O and I (II), all the letters of our alphabet manifested in the nucleus are consonants. I don’t know yet how to evaluate it, but I think it’s not accidental …

I think it is already quite clear that this game can be continued further. You just need to change the dimension of the octagon when moving to the next contours, otherwise nothing will be clear due to graphic overload. We will do this work without fail, but not now, because the story is already hefty voluminous … For starters, I can say that L, U, E and A are already emerging from our beeches … But more on that another time.
