Vicente Romero Redondo is a Spanish painter who was born in 1956 in Madrid. Due to his father's work, he grew up in many different cities throughout Spain. The family returned to Madrid when he was 15 years old.
As a child, his parents thought that he would devote his life to painting. Since his cartoons of classmates and teachers were known in every school where he studied, he was rarely seen without a pencil and notebook in hand.
He owes his oil painting technique to his academic background, however, he later decided to mix oil and pastel paints to combine the styles.
Since the early 90s, Romero's paintings have been shown at separate exhibitions in Spain, France and Portugal. He impressed everyone with the incredible light in his paintings, one of the most recognizable aspects of his work.
