To confront the enemy, you need to learn his methods of warfare. Only knowing the enemy's techniques can you create an effective defense and resist him.

If a person lives in harmony with himself and with the world around him, in his natural rhythm, he does not need a ruler dictating his will. Such a person is free and makes decisions in his life himself. Try, go to such a person and say: "Come on, I will control you" - he is unlikely to agree. Therefore, any power structure needs to justify and justify its existence, and do it by cunning. And they do it - through fear. They come up to a person and say: “Do you know how scary it is to live in peace? Look - violence, lies, cruelty are everywhere. But if you agree to make me your ruler, I will protect you from this."

In fact, the authorities are selling us our own fear, which it creates itself. Otherwise, nobody will need it. In exchange, they take our freedoms, our independence. And a person willingly shares these precious qualities of his life with them, with relief transfers the responsibility for making decisions to the authorities, because he is scared.

This is how this control mechanism can be simplified. It manifests itself in thousands of different variations that you need to be able to recognize. Here are some examples. One of the oldest fears used by power is the fear of God. Moreover, they were frightened by both God's punishment during life and eternal torment in hell after death. How can we not recall, in contrast to all artificially created religions (Christian, Muslim, etc.), the original Slavic-Aryan Faith, where the Gods were loved and revered as their relatives. Another common fear is the fear of war, an external threat. During the Soviet era, the entire Western world was frightened by their governments with the "red danger". And in the USSR, in turn, they talked about the nuclear warheads of decaying capitalism and the need to rally and arm. Now the danger, according to many developed countries, comes from the Arab countries. This is how governments came up with terrorism, which has proven to be a very effective intimidation tool. Although, any sober-minded person understands that terrorism is far from the top lines among the causes of death.

The medical industry makes a lot of money on the fear of disease, although again, according to statistics, humanity has not become less sick, despite the deafening successes of medical science. And the benefits of many expensive drugs are questionable. One of the most recent examples is the fear of swine flu, on which vaccine manufacturers are going to make huge profits.

Many smaller fears operate at the everyday level. The police justify their existence by the fact that there are bandits, manufacturers of computer antiviruses - by the fact that there are hackers, lawyers - by the fact that there are violations, etc. - the list is endless.

There is even a special industry in our society that makes money purely out of fear, without producing any useful product. That is, in fact, parasitizing on society. This is insurance, even in the name of which the essence of this business is manifested. The art of an insurance agent is precisely to intimidate a person as much as possible. So that he believes that if he does not buy insurance, all imaginable and inconceivable misfortunes will immediately fall upon him. This business is very profitable, and is actively imposed by the state. It is already difficult or impossible to refuse many types of insurance. This is the notorious compulsory car insurance, and accident insurance included in the cost of train and plane tickets, etc. The financial turnover of the insurance industry often exceeds the budgets of enterprises producing a real product many times over.

Fear is also used to combat dissent. Try to express an opinion that is undesirable to the ruler or resist the generally accepted foundations - at least you will be immediately accused of being crazy and made an outcast of society. And who among the people is not afraid of this? The fear of being rejected by our neighbors is very strong in us, the opinion and approval of others is important to us. Of course, this fear is exploited to the full by manipulators to keep us in check.

It must be said here that initially the perception of a person in modern society from the very first years of his life is formed in such a way that he is vulnerable to fear. He is given a mosaic, unrelated picture of the world with huge gaps. Nobody tells him about such concepts as the meaning of life and purpose. He is grounded on material goods and pleasures, which he is afraid of being deprived of. Already at school, they begin to intimidate him with bad grades, the opportunity to stay for a second year and not enroll in a university. Later, the employer scares the person with fines and dismissal. In our picture of the world, holes are artificially created, skillfully using which, you can intimidate a person with the fear of the unknown, etc.

The media play an active role in instilling fear in society. It is enough to watch a crime report on TV to make it scary to walk the streets. Global fears - terrorism, swine flu, etc. - are widely promoted through the media.

Continuing the vicious circle, we ourselves quickly learn to manipulate loved ones through fear. The child says to his parents: "I'll leave the house!" The wife says to her husband: "I'll divorce you, you will run after me!" Many relationships in the family and in the team are built not on freedom and cooperation, but on fear and dependence.

Many people spend many, many years of life under the yoke of many fears - both their own and imposed. They live unhappily, but they cannot change their lives, because they are afraid of change.

Fear has many faces - as soon as you deal with one of its manifestations, another one immediately emerges. Therefore, in order to get away from submission to fear, you need to have the power to change yourself. And first of all, you need to acquire the quality of sobriety or sanity. Of course, in such a short article you cannot give a full-fledged recipe for “how to become a strong personality”. But we can say that one of the key points along the way is to learn to trust your own experience. As a first step, you need to give yourself time to rethink, re-examine your whole life and previous experience. This approach in itself eliminates many illusory fears and misconceptions. Then you need to learn to take responsibility, including consciously planning new, acquired experiences, and building your life strategically. If a person enters this path, life itself will give the necessary clues - it is interested in development.

You cannot get rid of fear completely, but you can put it in its place. You need to be able to tell your fear: “Thank you for warning me of the danger. I will take this into account when analyzing the situation. But the decision will be made by me, not you. You should also not rush to extremes and take rash risks - just to prove yourself or others around your imaginary courage.

Thus, by consciously working with fear and experience, a person can slowly but surely change their perception. And at one fine moment, he may be surprised to find that in his picture of the world, something has subtly changed. He has new priorities and values. He is not oriented towards material things, but towards spiritual things. Most of his fears vanished in the clear light of his newfound sobriety. Trusting himself and relying on his own experience, he clearly knows what is good and what is bad. He does not need the approval of others, as he realizes what he is doing and why. And most importantly, he himself, and no one else, began to manage his life.
