Thunder Stone - the most famous landmark of St. Petersburg consists of three separate parts of different colors, connected to each other along a complex arbitrary line. But this fact is ignored by official historians and scholars. Probably because there is no explanation for this phenomenon. Especially the color change.

The stone in front and behind has complex cracks, behind which are parts of the stone of a lighter color:

In general, the concrete version would be fine for me. But, the great powders from the official science turned fantasy in the other direction.

According to the official version (OV), even before the stone was found and brought to St. Petersburg, lightning hit it and made such amazing changes. Allegedly, this is why it is called "Thunder-stone". Along the OV, 2 pieces split off by lightning were attached to the stone. And how they were dragged weighing under a hundred tons is not known to science and is not interesting. How does official science know about this magical lightning strike? After all, science relies on facts, and not on legends, like stupid ufologists. There are 2 great scientific explanations:

In a certain kingdom, in a certain state, a legend goes far away … Such is the scientific explanation. Why lightning should change the color of the stone is not known to science.

Dear Readers! Who can give links to any information that a lightning strike can change the color of a stone? I've never heard that. But maybe I missed something

There is another atheistic explanation:

This is an important point. All these clever people trying to find a natural explanation for miracles, instead of a miraculous explanation, always expose paranoid idiocy.

The main St. Petersburg restorer Vladimir Sorin, who is also an ardent monster-hater, has also waved there. He gave me in personal correspondence a third explanation for the appearance of a crack and a multi-color:

But what science knows, but not advertised. Similar phenomena of clearly artificial origin take place at mysterious megalithic objects. For example, Ollantaytambo:

I don’t know how accurately the surfaces of different parts of the Thunder Stone are fitted, it’s unlikely that someone will push them apart to look.

In August 2011, by the decree of the government of the Republic of Karelia, the Vottovaara mountain complex was declared a landscape natural monument. The protected area covers an area of more than one and a half thousand hectares: it includes the mountain itself and the surrounding area.

The name of Vottovaara mountain can be translated as "Victory Mountain".

Archaeological monuments of central Karelia are 5-6 thousand years old.

Nowhere does the color change, and only the Thunder Stone has changed.
