The cities of the Russian Federation were designed taking into account much less traffic than is observed in them now. The number of cars has grown significantly, but no new areas have been added (it’s simply impossible to do this). Indeed, this is a serious problem, and it is constantly exacerbated against the backdrop of dying public transport. Yes, it is public transport that is the main antidote to the accelerating growth of motorization in society. Of course, public transport must meet a number of advantages on the road over private transport and have a certain level of comfort. But, unfortunately, public transport "did not fit" into the market economy and is gradually degrading, forcing residents to buy cars. In general, according to statistics, almost half of motorists would gladly give up their car if they were provided with a good alternative in the form of convenient public transport. You probably now think that I went in the wrong direction - no, dear motorists, public transport is your savior, it "removes" from the road those who can easily abandon the car, making way for those who really need it. As a result, everyone wins: passengers get a worthy alternative, and motorists get a road without traffic jams. The topic of public transport is long and it will not be possible to reveal it in this article - there will be a new article!

Well, now let's get back to our rams, more precisely to the parking lots. So, when buying a car, the car owner is in seventh heaven with happiness, because he was not told in the showroom and from the TV screen that his car will not only bring him pleasure, but also impose responsibility as a person, a reasonable person. Some of the main disappointments: parking and parking. It is really necessary to park the car somewhere, and naturally, there will not be enough places for everyone in the immediate vicinity of the dwelling, as a result of which many park their horses on lawns and playgrounds! Is it good? No, this is not good and this is supported by several facts that you should know:

First, you destroy comfort. You yourself live in this courtyard, you live in this city, you live in this country - this is all yours. HOUSE, and your internal state (health, well-being, happiness) depends on its state - the car has a detrimental effect on the yard;

Secondly, the destruction of the usable area for people! After a couple of parking lots, the lawn (the area of green spaces) turns into a swamp, which not only dries poorly, but is also a source of dirt, dust, etc.;

Would you like to live in a courtyard like this? I think no.

Third, you harm yourself. A large amount of dirt contributes to the rapid destruction of roads (storm sewers are clogged, roads dry more slowly and road clothes wear out faster), more funds are required to keep them clean, to repair storm sewers, and these funds could be used to build new roads or improving the quality of their repair;

Unfortunately, it’s not your mayor who parks here and not the governor of your region, it’s all the residents’s fault, they themselves destroyed their courtyard and city.

Fourth, your car is destroyed faster. And this is due not only to the underfunding of road repairs, but also to waterlogging of the car itself. The dirt that gets clogged into the hidden cavities of your car remains wet for a long time, destroying the car with corrosion. A car that constantly parks on wet ground receives a greater dose of moisture (moisture from the ground constantly rises, even in the most severe drought) than one that is on an asphalt surface, not to mention the most acidic soil environment;

Fifth, it becomes more expensive to maintain a car. If your car constantly moves on dirty roads, then you need to wash it constantly both inside and outside, and this significantly increases the item of expenses;

Sixth, you oppress others! It is worth remembering that not everyone has a car in the house, and some citizens behave more culturally - they park their cars in parking lots. By spreading dirt, destroying infrastructure, you simply impede the normal existence of children, old people, and just people. They have nowhere to go, they are forced to hide in apartments or look for other places to stay. All this stimulates the growth of tension in society, people become more irritating, angrier, etc. All this affects you in one way or another;

Do you think children want to play on such a playground, or is it better to sit in the virtual reality of a computer?

So, friends, motorists, exactly you must take care of where you store or park your car, it is you, not the president or mayor of your city … But at the same time, you must be guided by the law and so that your car does not destroy the infrastructure and does not interfere with the normal existence of others … We have no other country with you, we have no other planet and no other yard! Here and now we must take care of the world around us, of every person around us, now … and not later!

We often hear the following "excuses" from motorists:

1. "I have nowhere else to park," - it is not true! In fact, in many areas of any city there are several paid parking lots where, for a small fee, your car will be guarded and responsible for it!

2. "I pay taxes, the state is obliged to build parking for me," - this is not true! You bought a car, this is your thing, like a TV and a refrigerator! You don't ask the state for an apartment to store your refrigerator! And it should be noted that the taxes that you pay are barely enough to patch up the holes in the roads. Even for the construction of roads, your taxes are not enough - the state subsidizes.

3. "If I don't park my car at my house, it will be stolen," - ha, and again ha. If the hijackers "laid eyes" on your car, you can be sure that it will be stolen so that you will not even have time to put on your panties, and if your car is cheap, then no one will risk it for her. Beat? Practice shows that you can beat a car in ANY place!

Dear friends, I hope you understand all the obvious perniciousness of parking on the lawn.

How long will it take to save you? Will you ever learn to save yourself? Why do you always listen to priests, fascist demagogues, fools? Why don't you want to bother your brain? Why don't you want to think like that? (c) Arkady and Boris STRUGATSKY
