How do you like the car consuming instead of 10-15 litershigh-octane gasoline, 3-5 liters of cheap 72nd?This is real. Systems with price tags of several thousand rubles have already appeared, allowing you to do this, of course, if you do not want to create everything with your own hands.

“Where does the rest of the energy come from? out of thin air?"- a critical reader will ask. I will answer: “Not out of thin air, but out of the water" … And then there is more replace fuel with water completelyand that's it!

Distant history

John Rockefeller got rich selling kerosene.

In those almost two centuries ago, buildings were illuminated either by candles or by more advanced kerosene lamps. And any obstacle to his business was removed immediately. So, Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla in their works with direct and alternating current, he repaired all kinds of obstacles. His company Standard Oil was extremely efficient, and Rockefeller himself became the first billionaire.

And today the oil giants are promoting the status quo in every possible way, that without oil products and other fossil fuels - nowhere. But.

Theory

And what about water? Is it possible to use it as an energy source? What do secondary and high school teach us? The energetic effect of breaking the first oxygen-hydrogen chain, the reaction H2O = HO + H, is 495 kJ / mol, the energy of breaking the H-O bond in the hydroxyl group is 435 kJ / mol, which in total exceeds 900 kJ per mol. This is a gigantic figure.

Fearing these terrible energy costs, any normal engineer will discard all possible projects based on such an energy-dependent reaction as the decomposition of water into hydrogen and oxygen 2H2O = 2H2 + O2

Not everything is so gloomy near, and a water molecule has a dipole moment and in a constant electric current it is easily polarized, splitting into gases, hydrogen is directed to the cathode, a positive charge, and oxygen to the anode. In principle, obtaining these gases separately does not seem to be problematic. And a very small amount of energy is required for such chemical transformations. So insignificant that miniature electrolyzers, now called HHO gas generators (from H2O water), are powered by a USB charger for a mobile phone (see video below).

Close story

This effect of water electrolysis was first applied by Henry Puharich and Neil Brown in the 90s of the last century. And the gas resulting from electrolysis was called Brown's gas. True, in chemistry such a gas, a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen, is called an explosive mixture, since it is capable of "jumping out" when the slightest spark occurs so that it will not seem a little to anyone.

Several patents in the field of resonant current electrolysis were obtained by Stanley Meyer (US Patent 5, 149, 407, US Patent 4, 936, 961, US Patent 4, 826, 581, US Patent 4, 798, 661, US Patent 4, 613, 779, US Patent 4, 613, 304, US Patent 4, 465, 455, US Patent 4, 421, 474, US Patent 4, 389, 981). Meyer proved that water electrolysis is capable of taking place under normal conditions, and for a high-quality and large-scale reaction, 12 volts of on-board car power is enough. Meyer demonstrated this in his car, converted to work on water. This example is considered as impossible from the point of view of modern science.

In some incomprehensible way, all three of these inventors died. It was not beneficial for someone that the development of clean energy technologies began all over the world. How can oil corporations make a profit if cars, and then other consumers of petroleum products, go to water?

Despite the death of the author of the patents, all these technologies remained in the public domain, and now thousands of engineers in the world, having familiarized themselves with a simple and effective way of obtaining energy from water, have created prototypes and industrial designs and are ready for industrial use.

The industry, although not yet automotive, has begun to use Brown's gas, the unique properties of which are actively used in gas welding equipment. Still, the temperature of combustion of hydrogen in oxygen reaches 3200 ° C. And this is a lot, I will tell you, in one of the rollers below, a copper rod melts (the melting temperature of copper is 1083 ° C), like tin, in the flame of a conventional burner, then it is collected in drops into one large drop, and the flame turns green in this place, it looks like copper is starting to boil and the boiling point of copper is 2558 ° C! All in a serious way, I will give the combustion temperatures of several well-known substances. Paper burns from 230 to 300 ° C, kerosene - 800 ° C, gasoline - 1100 ° C, steel melting 1510 ° C, steel burning 2000, acetylene torch (acetylene in oxygen) 2100 ° C.

The temperature of the Sun on the surface, 6000 ° C, and this is a thermonuclear reaction, the descent vehicles that come to the Earth from space are heated to the same temperature. This HHO is a really cool energy source! All petrochemicals are just resting, smoking around the corner. Moreover, it is important that the gases here are in the correct concentration to re-form a water molecule without by-products, what the doctor ordered is for the environment.

And this technology is surprisingly simple, in the presence of a standard car, it can be implemented somewhere in the garage from scrap materials. Most likely, for simple cars, all additional components will fit right here, under the hood. The car will not undergo major external changes. Even the introduction of a turbine into an internal combustion engine (ICE) requires much more effort.

HHO electrolyzer and generator

The main apparatus of this technology is the electrolyser. This is a container in which the plates are immersed; the larger the area of the plates, the more efficient the apparatus. Each plate is supplied with voltage, either plus or minus. Plus and minus plates alternate. To obtain a mixture of gases (oxygen + hydrogen), as in our case, the location, inclination and rotation of the plates are not important. It is important that the plates are filled with water. The rest of the piping "dances" around the electrolyzer, ensuring that it is filled with water (reagent) and the resulting gases are removed (product). Remember to dry and clean the gas before feeding it to the internal combustion engine. Of course, an electrical circuit should be provided with a fuse, power regulation, if possible, and emergency shutdown if something goes wrong.

But what about the automakers?

Unfortunately, the narrow-mindedness and academicism of an ordinary engineer who possesses a heap of classical knowledge hinders the advancement of revolutionary technology. The head of such a person with a classical university education does not fit that it is so easy to get an excellent fuel from water.

There is high competition in the automotive business, it can be assumed that it is enough for one of the automotive concerns only to announce the release (not even to release) a car that uses water as fuel, and the revolution will come true!

Inevitably, the question will arise of revising the most important units and components of a modern car today, after the introduction of such technology. Let's dream, the car today is crammed with an excess of technology that has become standard. Why such a complex motor? What is its efficiency? ICE and diesel are far from ideal. The efficiency of such complex units does not exceed 40%, and in most cases, it is significantly lower. But the efficiency of fuel cells, produced by electricity from hydrogen and oxygen, (the byproduct of which was pure water, which is also not bad in space), used, for example, on shuttles as power plants, is 80%. The efficiency of electric motors is approaching 100%. Why then do we need an internal combustion engine with its 20%?

It is clear as daylight that the use of electric motors is the future of automobile transport. By the way, the automotive industry started with electric vehicles. And only a few years later, the ICE conquered the industry, since it was impossible to accumulate and hold a sufficient amount of electricity in the batteries. And today, the limitedness of batteries, the complexity of their charging and a short service life is the main brake on the development of electric vehicles.

And here, with an HHO generator, produce as much gas as you need, and then you want to burn it in the internal combustion engine, you want to get electricity through a fuel cell and start the electric motors. And the by-product, water, can be recycled. Isn't it a perpetual motion machine?

In particular, one Japanese company, GENEPAX (see video below), is already offering an electric vehicle today without batteries at all, but with an HHO generator. Create and use electricity as much as you need. And on a liter of water, the little car drives 80 kilometers at a speed of 80 km / h! This practically eliminates the disadvantages of an electric car. Simplicity, unlimited cruising range, quick refueling, speed sufficient for a city …

Ecology

One of the main advantages of this fuel is its absolute environmental friendliness. No emissions, not even carbon dioxide, are generated from the combustion of such fuel. And, perhaps, this argument will be decisive. Let me remind dear readers that within the framework of the transition to the Euro-6 environmental standard, which is new for Europe, not a single diesel engine prepared by world manufacturers has coped with the standard. As a result, the norms were changed to continue using such harmful technology, that is, environmentalists bowed to the automotive concerns. The obscurity of not only engineers, but also environmentalists, could not destroy what is harmful to humans and the environment.

So, perhaps, it is necessary to tighten the emission standards even more, to introduce the next standard, "Euro-7", for the new technology to make its way.

Where are you Jeremy Clarkson? Hey! This technology is for your new show.
