Who, when, why and on what will a person fly to the stars?
WHO? - it is more or less clear - this is one of the current young people; maybe boys and girls have already been born, who will have to realize the dream of long-distance space flights …
WHEN? - so far no one knows this, but there are options and ways to bring the time closer when mankind is technically ready for this step beyond the solar system …
WHY? - it seems that this question is the simplest: well, of course, for research and colonization, for the resettlement of Mankind in endless new worlds, for the survival of our biological species, for establishing Contact with other intelligent species, and much more …
ON WHAT? - perhaps this is the question to start with. There is a choice. So we will begin to sort out possible options among hundreds of existing projects of starships, choosing from them the best, fastest, or, perhaps, the easiest to manufacture. Not forgetting about the numerous obstacles on this difficult path, which postpone the prospects for the development of other planets and the space passionarity of our civilization.
Are you ready with us to tackle the biggest technical challenge for the 21st century?
Astronautics: Are you ready to fly into distant space? Recorded on September 7, 2016 at 20:00 Moscow time, on Narodniy Slavyanskiy radio.

Even if you realize that you are being manipulated, you unknowingly obey
Neurobiologist Vasily Klyucharev, head of the Department of Psychology at the Higher School of Economics, conducted an experiment showing the effect of neurotransmitters on a person's ability to agree with the majority. Scientist told T&P about the evolutionary meaning of conformity, the issue of mindfulness and how antidepressants can make us more obedient
We didn't go. We don't fly into space anymore?
This has never happened before in the history of Russian and Soviet cosmonautics. All engines manufactured at the Voronezh Mechanical Plant require inspection and replacement. This means that until all procedures are completed, Russia simply cannot launch anything into space
