A joint commission of the FSB and Roskosmos, investigating the appearance of a hole in the skin of the Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft, concluded that the hole was made deliberately already in space. According to the Telegram channel Mash, having studied the hole from different angles, the commission came to the conclusion that the hole was drilled only on the eighth attempt.
Experts are sure that the sabotage was carried out already in space. Soyuz MS-09 has been in orbit for the last three months. Prior to that, he spent three months at Baikonur. The device was checked seven times - six at the factory and the seventh time shortly before the start. According to experts, if a hole had appeared on Earth, it would have made itself felt even during the ascent, but the start was successful.
The commission could not establish who carried out the sabotage, but suspicions fell on the American astronauts - members of the Soyuz crew. Experts note that the first images of the hole appeared on American websites.
At the same time, Roskosmos said that NASA refused to assist in the investigation of the incident and did not respond to requests from the Russian side.
Earlier it became known that the internal commission of RSC Energia qualifies the situation with the hole in the Soyuz as “deliberate actions of unidentified persons”.
