The winter solstice is a good day for those who are engaged in spiritual self-development, it inspires to open spiritual spaces and reveals past lives. The day is suitable for rituals for fulfilling wishes, healing, and gaining wisdom. If you have a cherished wish, make it on the day of the revival of the Sun.
December 21, 19:00 28m. in Moscow, the day of the winter solstice began. This is a truly magical time for rituals and making wishes. Don't miss this great opportunity to make your deepest desires!
Solstice is the critical moment of transition. About 3 days before and after the solstice (from December 21, 19 h. 28 pm), the Earth receives a huge flow of creative energy, this is a magical, sacred time of transition. Like any transitional time, it is intended for spiritual practice. The winter solstice is the arrival of the astronomical new year. This is a holiday of rebirth, the birth of a new sun.
From this moment on, a new cycle of time begins. The moment of the solstice, the end of long nights - this is the mystery of the birth of the new, renewal, rebirth, the transition from the old life to the new. This is the mystery of renewal, the day of laying hopes, a solid foundation for a bright future.
This is both death and resurrection, the mystery of the rebirth of old age into youth.
In this energetically special, charged time, you can burn your sins, change your destiny, be reborn, as the renewed Sun is born again.
In the days before the solstice, it is favorable to get rid of everything that has become obsolete, interfering, superfluous (both in the house and in terms of personality, habits, relationships, etc.). It would be nice to let go of grievances, leave quarrels, resolve conflicts, make donations favorably, repay debts. It is better to enter a new life light.
The night before this day is the longest of the year. This is a dark, feminine, magical time. This night opens the door to a new life. It is good to take stock of the past year, to thank God for everything He gives. (Note from a blogger: God is a person who has reached the level of the Creator). It is important to get rid of worries, worries and enter a new life in a harmonious state.
What did our ancestors do on the winter solstice and what should we do?
In the old days, the holiday of the revival of the Sun was celebrated at night, before the rising of the Sun. The holidays Kolyada among the Slavs and Yule among the Germanic peoples are associated with this day. To give strength to the Sun, which, according to beliefs, should be reborn on this day, there was a custom to kindle a ritual fire. Often the logs for the fire were oak, because oak was considered to be a space tree. The logs were decorated with carvings and corresponding symbols.
We can replace the fire with candles. To get started, build a magic altar, decorate it with dry leaves and flowers, nuts, fruits. Place 13 candles decorated with the symbols of the Sun in the center. Use juniper, rosemary, cedar, pine oil to flavor the air.
Bake a cake symbolizing the Sun and treat your family and friends to it.
If the past year has been difficult, perform the Letting Go Ritual before making a wish.
At sunset, light candles, take a piece of paper, write down all the bad and negative things that have happened to you over the past months.
Think of your own words for the letting go, for example, "I forgive and let go of whatever has given me disappointment." "Let the past go away and never come back."
Burn the paper, imagining how all sorrows and difficulties disappear with the smoke and set you free.
Ritual "Power of Water"
Water is purification and renewal. Light the candles, fill the tub with water. Play soothing music and indulge in 20 minutes of total relaxation. Visualize all the good things that you want to see in your life. When you drain the water, imagine how all the problems and difficulties are washed away along with the remaining water.
Wish card
Find pictures that represent your dream, and spend the evening cutting and pasting them on a board or piece of heavy paper. Name the created collage "My Dream" or "Celebration of My Solstice".
Letter to the Future
A letter to the future is a great tool to set you up for success; it is a ritual that can change your life for the better.
Imagine your ideal day, in which all your dreams have already come true and you feel like an absolutely happy person. Visualize every little thing: starting with where you live and what kind of people are around you, and ending with the aromas in the air and your inner feelings. Have you presented?
Now describe this perfect day in detail in your letter to yourself, but write in the present tense as if this happy future has already arrived. After that, send a letter to yourself with a delayed date so that it will come to you in 1 year. Thus, you will launch a powerful program to fulfill your cherished desires. At the same time, sooner or later you will forget about this letter, that is, let go of the desire. And this, as you know, is very important.
When, in a year, you receive news from yourself, you will be surprised that much of what you have written has already come true.
To send a letter to the future, click the "Write" button on the picture, then fill in all the fields in the screen that opens: enter the subject and text of the letter, your email address and select the desired delivery date. Then click the "Submit" button.
Ritual to the Benevolent Gift
Spend the evening writing down what you are grateful for in your life. Start by grateful to your eyes, the ability to breathe, a roof over your head …
Once you've done any of these rituals, imagine all of your wildest dreams for the next year. Make this visualization very real and vivid, and imagine that it has already happened in the present moment.
Rituals performed on the winter solstice and new moon are a great way to inspire and motivate you to pursue your dreams.

Wooden dishes of the Slavs - how did our ancestors eat?
It is difficult to say from what time the manufacture of chiseled wooden dishes began in Russia. Archaeological finds on the territory of Novgorod and on the site of Bulgarian settlements in the Volga region indicate that the lathe was known as early as the 12th century. In Kiev, in the secret places of the tithe church, a chiseled bowl was found during excavations. In the XVI-XVII centuries. installation of the simplest, so-called bow, lathe was available to every ordinary artisan
