Immediately - alcohol is poison! Do not listen to anyone - alcohol, by definition, is poisonous and harmful. Ethanol alcohol is characterized as a depressant - a psychoactive substance that inhibits the central nervous system of a person.

However, the incomes of individuals from the production and sale of alcoholic beverages are so great that they spend millions and billions of dollars to convince the public (you and me) that there is nothing wrong with alcohol.

In addition, the widespread distribution of alcohol (like drugs) is a good way to manipulate public consciousness - sober people are critical of the next portion of fairy tales and promises from those in power. Therefore, by increasing the number of people who consume alcohol, the ruling elites are knocking out the support from under the feet of sanity - a sober mind and cold calculation. Such an action is feasible due to the fact that despite one of the myths about alcohol - supposedly it is enough to have a good breakfast in the morning after drinking, as all negative moments will be removed as if by magic - in fact, this is not so. Quote from "The Heart of a Surgeon" by Fyodor Uglov:

Therefore, you need to convince people that a couple of glasses of wine or a few evenings with beer in front of the TV are harmless and will not affect your condition in any way, and that's all - people who believe in this will constantly be under the influence of alcoholic intoxication. And, therefore, it is much easier to manage them.

So what other myths about alcohol allow the so-called alcohol lobby to pursue the ubiquity and use of alcohol. Let's break down the top 10 so we know how to deal with this scourge.

As the saying goes: forewarned is forearmed!

Alcohol in small doses is useful - in any amount

This statement is the basis of the so-called theory of "Cultural Drinking". This pernicious theory insinuatingly, but persistently drummed into our heads: drinking in small quantities is not harmful; the culture of drinking alcohol is a widespread phenomenon and all the peoples of the world drink; good quality alcohol is a sign of sophisticated taste; drinking alcohol is our historical, cultural tradition and so on and so forth.

This is the most pernicious statement there can be. The bottom line is that there are medical experiments that have proven that (for example) one tablespoon of vodka a day improves digestion. Think about it - 10-15 ml per day and that's it! But here, too, one should not forget that we are talking about the lesser evil - the harm from alcohol, which allows you to defeat the greater evil - indigestion.

The impact of alcohol is such that even small doses of it lead to the death of brain neurons. With microscopic doses of alcohol-containing drinks (or, for example, tinctures of medicinal herbs), a small number of them die and the brain is able to compensate for this loss - “the detachment did not notice, as they say, the loss of a soldier!

But this is the same if you, being sentenced to death and standing face to face with the firing squad, suddenly offer:

- Why should everyone shoot at once, let's take turns. After all, bullets in small doses will enrich my body with iron. Let's first shoot me in the leg, then in the arms, and then in the stomach. And only then shoot in the head.

So it is with "small doses" - they still kill the body, much more slowly, but also steadily.

But the most negative consequence of such a myth is that starting with small doses it becomes easier and easier for a person to move to large doses. A person who uses alcohol moderately and culturally has already advanced a step or two along the path of alcohol degradation. If you have stepped on this path leading to gradual degradation, then you have only one way out - to stop and not be fooled by “small doses”.

This myth also includes the fact that it is worth drinking 200 ml of dry wine daily and your blood vessels will become more elastic, digestion will normalize and the third eye will open in general. Nonsense and dastardly trick whose task is the same - to make you take the first sip of wine, and then continue.

The danger of alcohol grows with the degree of the drink - if you consume low-alcohol drinks, then there will be much less harm, or even no harm at all

I often heard from drunk friends who got drunk not with vodka, but with beer an answer in the style:

- Yes, I didn’t drink, so, a little beer.

Due to some misunderstanding, many attribute to alcohol only "strong" drinks - vodka, rum, whiskey, cognac, and such "trifles" as beer, champagne, wine, mulled wine, cocktails, punch, cider are not considered real alcohol and do not see special harm in its use.

The essence of this myth lies in the fact that we believe that alcoholic beverages are essentially different substances. But ethyl alcohol, which is their basis, harms us.

Any, even a delicious cocktail contains alcohol, and it is he who is the poison that poisons our body and destroys our personality. Do not be fooled, do not think that drinking a couple of glasses of beer in the evening you will be able to avoid negative consequences.

Again, a similar myth was introduced by those who understood that in order to draw a person into the network of alcoholic intoxication, one must first seduce him with a little.

- Drink some beer, sip of champagne - the tempter whispers over the ear - this is not harmful. The champagne is delicious and the beer is healthy. Drink.

And first a person starts drinking beer, then he does not refuse a glass of vodka, and then falls into a pool and disappears.

To open your eyes, just count how much pure alcohol is in your favorite beer - let's say you drink 2 liters of 6.5% beer, which means that 130 ml of alcohol has entered the body - more than half a bottle of vodka.

Well, is it not so safe to drink beer already ?!

Alcohol is a food product

Entering the store, we will encounter you with a huge number of all kinds of bottles that will be filled with countless shelves. In some supermarkets, the care for such a "product" is such that the entrance to the wine and vodka sections is made by:

Separately - so that the "hungry" client is not forced to stand in line with those who prefer to buy bread and milk;

At the very entrance - you don't have to walk and search for a long time, and even when you are in the store for the first time, you can easily find the required “product”;

Around the clock - so that any client with trembling hands at any time of the day or night could run into the light and shop in full;

Beautiful - since each brand of alcoholic beverages has its own shape and color design, it is possible to display them like works of art. Also take a closer look at the fact that the shelves for food products are gray and colorless, alcohol will be displayed on beautiful wooden shelves with interesting lighting, and if there is only one air conditioner in the store, you can be sure it will work among the alcoholic "product" - that's all for the suffering!

In fact, at the beginning of the 20th century, at the All-Russian Congress of Physicians, it was passed:

Good product! You disdainfully discard the spoiled apples and demand to bring the sellers to justice, and you are even ready to greet the fact that the store shelves are filled with outright poison.

Alcohol warms

After all, we have been accustomed to a persistent delusion - it's cold - drink a couple of glasses of vodka and it'll get warm. This is an insidious myth of which tens, hundreds, or even thousands of people fall victim to it every year.

The myth is based on the fact that after drinking alcoholic beverages, the blood vessels dilate. With an increase in blood flow, heat transfer also increases - there is a feeling that it has become warmer. Indeed, a person becomes warmer, but only because the heat from the body, from the internal organs goes outside. By heating the outer shell of the body, the body as a whole cools down.

According to statistics, 80% of frozen people have alcohol in their stomachs after autopsy. People fool themselves with the feeling of warmth by actually losing it. Drinking vodka in the cold in order to keep warm is to speed up the freezing.

In no case should you believe in this delusion, because sometimes you will have to pay with at least health, and even life.

From the same opera, the belief that to cool on a hot day you need to drink a glass of cold beer. Refreshing comes only from the fact that the beer was presented in the form of a chilled liquid.

In fact, beer, like any other alcohol, will lead to an increase in blood pressure, disable the body's thermoregulation mechanisms, lead to increased sweating and urination, and this is fraught with dehydration of the body.

In addition, a man with hops in his head loses complete control over his behavior and may not feel in time how the skin "burns" in the sun, and he himself is already on the verge of sunstroke.

Another insidiousness of a couple of glasses of beer in the summer is that a person may be by the water at this time and he will certainly want to swim - I think it’s not worth talking about how this can end.

Drinking alcohol is a centuries-old tradition, a heritage of ancestors

This is where blatant nonsense is so nonsense.

Firstly, you cannot enroll the whole people, with one chokh, in any group. The Russians may have a little more drinkers than, say, the Germans, but this is by no means a reason to write the entire nation into the category of bitter drunkards.

Secondly, drunkenness has never been a primordially Russian tradition and problem. On the contrary, a Russian has always been considered a teetotaler. Simply trying to impose a history of the last hundred or even fifty years in the form of a centuries-old tradition is malicious.

Thirdly, as they say: for the company and the Jew hanged himself. Therefore, let them say what they want, each of us makes a choice - to drink or not. And what have the traditions of the inhabitants of ancient Muscovy to do with it?

Alcohol improves sleep

Of course, in a narcotic delirium, a person falls asleep better - we are talking about a situation when a person has certain problems with sleep, because a physically and mentally healthy person does not need any additional funds to fall asleep, except for a bed.

A similar delusion is held by people who have an excitable nervous system and even by the evening continue to be in an active state and a swarm of thoughts is spinning in their head, which does not want to calm down. Then the hand reaches for a glass of cognac - a clap and the poisoned brain becomes numb. The person really falls asleep. But is this a healthy dream?

Sleep is characterized not only by duration, but also by depth. Drinking alcohol you do not sleep soundly, sleep is superficial, disturbing. And although in time you can sleep even longer than usual, you will not wake up refreshed, but overwhelmed and tired. Moreover, physical well-being may be normal - the body needs much less time to sleep, but the brain will remain tense and upset.

Alcohol relieves stress

Modern society is obsessed with the fight against stress, sometimes the struggle with it is so difficult that it causes … stress.

One of the common misconceptions about alcohol whispers in your ear - if you have difficulties, you are upset, it is hard for you, and you plunge into depression, then you just need to drink a couple of glasses of alcohol and everything will go away like a bad dream.

The stupidity is incredible. Alcohol is by definition a depressant, i.e. its use does not relieve anxiety and excitement, but on the contrary exacerbates them. Apparent relief occurs only for those who, by such measures, try to justify the alcohol they have taken - they say I drink not because I want to drink, but to calm the soul. A person relieves not anxiety and life doubts, but disorders caused by alcohol addiction. His soul is on fire, as they say. He drinks a glass, another, relieves the symptoms of poisoning and believes that in this way he managed to defeat stress.

In fact, the use of alcohol by people suffering from real depression sometimes leads to sad consequences. If a person has a hard time at heart, then taking alcohol-containing drinks does not solve the problem. Before a person with the limitations of his mind removed, pictures of the aggravation of the situation begin to surface, and he can commit stupid, rash acts from which he could resist soberly - the person swears, gets into a fight, and the worst thing is that he can commit suicide. After all, a significant part of suicides occurs in those moments when the brain is intoxicated with some kind of drug, which includes ethyl alcohol.

Remember once and for all - alcohol does not solve problems, but creates new ones and spoils your health!

Alcohol allows you to work better

It may seem to some that taking a small dose of alcohol contributes to the fact that their performance increases and brain activity is activated.

Such phenomena are indeed noted by doctors, but this is self-deception. With the help of alcohol, a person relieves some stiffness of the body and brain, but at the same time there is a partial loss of self-control and reduced attention. A person thinks that he has done more, but in fact the work he has done is often not done correctly and then he has to redo it. The danger of accidents is also great, when a person, without controlling his actions, fully violates safety measures and can cause significant harm to health and even lose his life. At least one third of industrial accidents occur in people under the influence of alcohol.

So think a hundred times before raising your glass before starting your work shift.

The effect of alcohol on creativity is even more controversial. This belief stems from the fact that some of the creative people abuse alcohol.

We know many examples from literature when a writer worked productively while being a drinking person (E. Hemingway, D. London), but this is a rare exception and most often occurs at the peak of a writer’s productivity, when he tries to look for an outlet during alcoholic periods. It is worth, however, for him to cross a certain line beyond which he destroys both health and the brain with alcohol, as a decline in creative activity occurs. And we all understand with bitterness - if he did not drink, he could delight us with his works for many years to come.

Quality alcohol doesn't harm

A cunning and insidious delusion that tries to accuse the person himself of harming himself from taking alcoholic beverages - you drink, they say, all cheap stuff because you suffer, and start drinking elite alcohol, so everything will immediately fall into place.

It is worth remembering that alcohol in any form and dose is harmful to the body. Throwing between types of alcohol or its quality is simply the ability for the gallows to choose the rope on which to hang him.

Remember that such statements are made with only one purpose - to deprive you of an alternative. We have been convinced from childhood that you will drink, but you can choose between: strong and weak alcoholic drinks; between factory vodka and home-made moonshine; between cognac and champagne; between drinking in the driveway and drinking in a restaurant; choose to drink alone or with friends; drink every day or only on holidays.

It seems that the choice is large, but it was initially not correct. A person has only one choice - to drink or not to drink. And if he starts drinking, then all the other options do not change anything - the drinking person (whether culturally, in moderation, on holidays, for company …) poisons his body with poison. In addition, he poisons the lives of his loved ones and harms society - gradually degrading.

Cultural drinking is not a booze, but a rest

It is through such a vile concept as "cultural use" that the alcoholic mafia smuggles into our lives alcoholic beverages.

They are trying to impose on us the idea that booze is when around the corner, without a snack, in secret. But if in a large company of friends, with a good snack, with conversation and fun - then this is not drunkenness at all. Leisure, cultural pastime, so to speak.

This is how ethyl alcohol penetrates into a person's life, he watches a movie, and the main character there drinks a glass of whiskey, the heroine drinks champagne, while both smile and let you know - if you want to be like us, pour it.

Popular culture bombards our minds relentlessly and continuously suggesting that alcohol is not such a harmful pastime. All films tell us - look, there is no rest without alcohol, you don't have to get drunk, have a little drink and relax.

Remember once and for all you cannot put the concept of "culture" and "alcohol" in one line. You can't drink cultured! Drunkenness is already essentially cultureless.

In fact, there are more misconceptions and myths about alcohol, alcoholic bandits use all spheres of life to conquer your mind and convince you to drink at least a little. They know that ethyl alcohol is insidious and getting on its hook will be difficult to get off of it.

Remember:

SOBBY IS THE NORM OF LIFE!
