Video: Abandoned Italian villas in their majesty

For nearly a decade, French photographer Thomas Jorion has traveled around Italy looking for decaying, decaying villas from the 18th and 19th centuries. Using an analog large format camera, he immortalizes the luxurious buildings of the past for a series called "Veduta".
In part, the photographer is driven by the desire to capture the personality of these abandoned halls. Each interior is unique. Often they still have rich decorative painting, slowly turning to dust. “I first photographed so that there is a reminder of these places before they disappear,” says Jorion. - But then I saw in them beauty, aesthetics, which manifests itself with shapes, colors and lighting. I'm not looking for abandonment, but rather the patina of time. Thomas Jorion travels the world in search of interesting places and shoots in natural light. And this is a difficult task, since his set of equipment with a wide-format camera, lenses and accessories weighs about 18 kilograms. Jorion's work reminds us of the fragile and ephemeral nature of humanity, leading us to speculate about what will be left of us and what the future will be. Photos from other projects by Thomas Jorion can be found on his website and on Instagram.

A huge number of industrial and military facilities were created in the Soviet Union. After the collapse of the socialist country, most of these enterprises came to desolation and today are not used in any way. Such objects look depressing and terrifying at the same time. In places like this one could safely shoot films about the end of the world
They invented the God Jehovah, invented the myth of the Holocaust of 6 million Jews, and now they want the whole world to believe in both their Jehovah and their Holocaust
The secret doctrine of Judaism on the conquest of the world is a secret only for those who have never been interested in the history of the Jews and their book "Torah", but it is enough to look at least in the Christian Bible to get an exhaustive idea of both the goals of the Jews and their tribal god Jehovah
People who have lost their morality lose their land
It used to be said that "what is good for a Russian is death for a German." Times have changed, and today it turned out that "what is good for a German is death for a Russian." Moreover, death in the literal sense of the word, because all countries that demonstrate a flexible approach to morality are endangered, and the more flexible this approach, the higher the rate of extinction

Although someone considers him just a legend, almost a fairy-tale character - on a par with Anika the warrior or Vasilisa the Wise
Villas for the poor are empty, as they quarreled over such a generous gift from a fellow countryman
