Kungur Ice Cave - This is a wonderful "creation of nature", an interesting object for research and at the same time a comfortable tourist site. Every year 40 … 50 thousand people visit it. We also visited, and our expectations were more than justified.

So, having arrived at the place in the afternoon, bought tickets, settled in the hotel, and at the appointed time stood at the entrance to the cave (Fig 1).

Soon the whole group gathered, and only then we realized how foolish it was not to worry about warm clothes. Everyone began to put on sweaters, jackets, and the guide not only equipped with a warm knitted hat, but also prepared mittens. We were in T-shirts, shorts and sandals on our bare feet. It turned out that for such narrow-minded tourists there is a rental of jackets, but they, as if on purpose, ended.

There was no way out, and we decided not to deviate from our plans. It turned out that even at an air temperature on the surface of the order +30 degrees, it's very cold in the cave … Behind the first vestibule, the temperature was about - 2 degrees, and for the entire one and a half hour journey did not rise higher +5 … If you decide on such an excursion, be more prudent than us. There is no point in describing everything in detail. I'll tell you only about the main thing.

The first important thing the guide said was the presence above the cave of the remains of a fortified settlement in the form of a ditch and a rampart. Dated 10th century … As we are already accustomed to, this city is attributed to the Finno-Ugric population, which is supposedly the only one who then lived in these regions (although this there is no reasonable evidenceexcept for the dominant point of view).

In general, it has been repeatedly proved that these monuments have nothing to do with the Finno-Ugric people, if only because they themselves did not consider these cities their own, but called them Chud. In turn, the Chud people by cultural traces and descriptions in legends fully correspond to the ancestors of modern Rus.

The presence of the remains of the city above the cave itself is important, but not at all surprising, since such a convenient place (a steep hill on the banks of the large navigable river Sylva) simply had to be inhabited. In addition, according to the testimony of archaeologists, such cities have always had underground passages, as in this case. Everything is logical. In the meantime, you should remember the official date of the city - 10th century … This means that he lasted until the 10th century, was abandoned or destroyed and never rebuilt.

The second important message of the guide is that there are many vertical "wells" in the Kungur cave that come out to the surface. They are littered with soil and stones. In the grottoes of the cave, these holes are clearly visible on crumbling loose soil (Fig 2) (Fig 3).

This is precisely the earth (not stone), in the form of cone-shaped talus, which abut against the vaults of the grottoes. The height of the rock above the vaults reaches 80 meters … And only on the very surface the stone is covered with soil no more than 1.5 meters thick. And this soil fell freely into the grotto of the cave, through a through hole with a diameter of about 1 meter, up to 80 meters, forming a funnel on the surface. This is how it looks from above (Fig 4).

It is interesting not only that the "wells" are round and strictly vertical (as far as the structure of the stone and long-term destruction by water allows), but also that they are all approximately the same size. And it’s quite amazing how exactly they could have formed.

Almost Scientists have been exploring the cave for 100 yearsand of course they came up with a version of the appearance of these mysterious holes. The version, frankly speaking, is rather weak. The kind that allows the skeptic to keep his sanity, but does not convince the sane. Some wells are not completely filled up. They were blocked by falling boulders at a certain height (as I understand it). This made it possible to put forward the assumption of water erosion, as it were, from the bottom up.

This is what it looks like, according to scientists … Water dripped - dripped, dissolved limestone - dissolved, as she liked, in even circles and strictly vertically from bottom to top (despite the heterogeneity of the rock layers), and rose to a solid dolomite plate. There she stopped. And where it did not hit the dolomite, it dissolved the rock mass to the very surface. The ground and fell down. And the most important thing is that water does all this slowly, drop by drop, for hundreds of thousands of years. Well, if we are talking about hundreds of thousands of years, then anything can be assumed during this time. There is no one to ask from. Look at (Fig 5).

Here pundits explain how karst is formed. Only guile was not without. In the figure, the width of the hole is commensurate with the depth, and in our case the ratio is 1/80.

This version is like fig leaf, covers almost nothing and does not explain. For example, it does not explain why in a rather heterogeneous layered rock, water for its destructive-dissolving activity did not choose the path of least resistance (obviously curvilinear, as always happens), but went strictly geometrically circular section vertically upward? Remember that some holes are up to 80 meters with a diameter of only 1 meter. That is, in a natural way such it wouldn’t have worked, only forced.

This version does not explain the incident with the ditch and the rampart. Look at (Fig 6).

This is a satellite photo. You can see that 2 funnels of talus turned out to be right on the rampart itself, violating its integrity, and, accordingly, its architectural and defensive qualities. Normal human logic dictates that first they dug a moat, poured a rampart, built a city, managed to live there, and only then the craters appeared. Not later than the 10th century. It is not worth arguing that these 2 funnels appeared later than the others. The shape (sloshing) of all the funnels present (see the figure at the beginning of the article) leaves no doubt. They appeared at about the same time, and this is not at all about millennia.

A closer unbiased examination of the holes from the inside of the cave showed that the rock was, as it were carved out, or burned out by a certain ray … It looks like a high power laser. Moreover, the beam had a thickness of about 30 centimeters, and burning out the hole, it made a circular motion with a radius of slightly less than a meter. On the (Fig 7) one can see the edge left by the ray that has made an incomplete revolution.

The photograph does not give a sufficient idea in perspective and volume, but visitors to the cave can personally look into this well and make sure that its walls and edges go away strictly straight uprepeating the shape and trajectory of the beam.

This version became even more obvious when in one of the taluses in the "Ruins" grotto (if I am not mistaken) we saw a vertically protruding "heart" falling out of the hole. It looks like a rod-shaped stone about 3 meters long and about half a meter in diameter. This phenomenon could not have formed in any way except according to the scheme described above (Fig 8).

I've read about this before. Here's a quote:

“The release of air into outer space by nuclear explosions and a decrease in pressure in ancient times from eight atmospheres to one caused decompression and hypertension in people, which not everyone could endure. The decay processes that began then changed the gas composition of the atmosphere. The released lethal concentration of hydrogen sulfide and methane miraculously poisoned the surviving people and animals. Oceans, seas and rivers were poisoned by decaying corpses. People fled from poisonous air, radiation and low atmospheric pressure in caves and undergrounds, where they tried to maintain the old living conditions. But the ensuing rainstorms, and then earthquakes, destroyed their shelters and the defenses they created, and drove them back to the surface of the earth. The "pipes" that have survived to this day connecting the caves with the surface of the earth, according to scientists, are of natural origin. Many such pipes are found in the caves of the Perm region, including the famous Kungur cave. These pipes have a regular round shape, so it is difficult to talk about their natural origin. It is most likely that they were burned by the laser weapons of the conquerors for smoking people fleeing from the dungeons … "(V. A. Shemshuk "Return of Paradise to Earth", h. 1, ch. 3)

Although I do not agree with the author on everything, it must be admitted that the picture he described logically explains what he saw in the cave. The earthquakes mentioned were probably here too. During the entire excursion, I never ceased to note how different the surface of the walls is from the stones that formed blockages in the grottoes. The walls are smooth and spongy. Really similar to dissolution and washout, or evaporation by the same laser. But the stones are angular with a rough surface. Clean chips. No water flowed through them, and there are no traces of erosion. It can be seen that once these galleries looked completely different. Then something happened, and the vaults collapsed in many places, changing the appearance of the cave.

And finally The most interesting … In one of the grottoes we were shown a New Year tree. This is a living tree, cut down in the forest and brought into a cave. There he was stuck in pebbles and dressed up for New Year's events. A Christmas tree placed in a cave does not behave quite normally. It retains freshness, does not turn yellow and does not fade for about 1, 5 years.

It turns out that this is a long tradition, and each time the place of installation of the tree is changed. In one of the grottoes sawn the tree stood intact for 8 years! This is truly incredible. The official explanation is the unique microclimate of the cave.

Here's a simple and scientific explanation. They love us to speak with clever words. Microclimate … We will dissect it now. Climate is average weather. Weather is an instantaneous state of certain characteristics (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure). That's all. And "micro" means this average weather over a period of time in a certain isolated volume (cave). That is, according to scientists, the decomposition processes of a Christmas tree, devoid of a root system, moisture and light, slowed down. 24 times due to a certain combination of temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. Moreover, this combination is unique, that is, not typical for the climate on the earth's surface.

Now is the time to tell the source of the official version - Stop lying … The temperature in the cave is about -2, + 5 degrees Celsius and fluctuates somewhat throughout the year. Humidity is also not at all unique, within normal limits. Pressure, of course, too. I checked it myself. And these parameters are not only found on the surface, but they are also easy to measure and repeat in the laboratory.

But in reality everything is not so … Sawed Christmas trees do not stand for more than 4 months, even if they are cooled to -2 degrees and sprayed with water mist. And all because it is completely impossible for any atmospheric parameters. Each tree is a hydraulic pump that draws moisture from the soil and pumps it through a system of channels into branches, and then into each needle or leaf. You cut down a tree and interrupt this process.

The pressure in the body of the plant drops, the movement of the juices stops. It takes some time. What matters is the tree's winter sleep state, when the metabolism is already slowed down. Nutrients begin to be insufficient for controlled breakdown into primary matter in cells. No matter how much you spray a tree, it will not replace its root system. The bodies of the plant essence are rejected one by one. Death is coming. Since everything in nature is rational, then death is followed by decomposition. The plant dries up, that is, it loses moisture. And this process cannot be stopped, even if you submerge a felled Christmas tree in water. The needles will turn yellow. But in the cave it does not turn yellow.

There is only one way to delay the inevitable wilting - slow down time … And this, oddly enough, is the most plausible explanation. Nikolai Viktorovich Levashov wrote that time is a term coined by people, which only illustrates the rate of occurrence of processes in nature. And the course of natural processes depends on many factors. The distortion of space changes the direction of the flows of primary matters, which affects the speed (time) as well. How to distort space? That's right, space distorts any material body, every atom, group of atoms. And if the body is massive, and has a certain geometry, then even more so. An example is the pyramids in Egypt. In a certain area inside the pyramid, time also slows down.

Well, what is a mountain? Massive geometric body. Even if it does not have ideal proportions and edges. So what, we just observe the blurry effect of the same laws of nature. And the effect is quite tangible. However, everyone can try it for themselves. How will this hour and a half underground seem to you? Maybe 40 minutes? And how, for example, does space and time behave under the slopes of the roof of an ordinary country house? The laws also apply to him, only the manifestations will be orders of magnitude less noticeable.

Unfortunately, thousands of visitors to the cave enthusiastically gaze at the icicles and fail to notice the amazing, admirable and suggestive of our past. Perhaps it would have been inaccessible for us, without the books of Nikolai Viktorovich Levashov. Blessed memory of him.
