I have an old friend. They were friends at school, at the university too. Nice guy, smart. But he had something like a quirk. Even from the 9th grade, he constantly told me that the scoop was shit, rash-poop, but over the hill everything was not at all like that. The person is respected there. And a smart person is respected three times. And they give money generously. And generally they give. So, they say, you need to graduate from university - and blame, blame.

I listened, even envied a little. It's always a little jealous when a person knows exactly what he wants. He himself did not really know then. And now, in general, only in general terms. It's cool when the goals are clear, the tasks are set. Work for yourself and move where you need to.

But it so happened that after university it was me who dumped. At first very far, then closer. And our communication with a friend was interrupted for a long time. For ten years, probably. And recently I was walking around Saratov, a phone popped up in my memory - well, I dialed it. And after 15 minutes we were talking live.

After the exchange of news, which had accumulated quite a bit over the years, the conversation turned to general topics. And suddenly, I don’t remember for what reason, sweet thoughts about the scoop, rashka, and it’s time to blame, poured out of the mouth of a school friend. And at the same time about how everything behind the hill is coolly arranged for the smart and talented. It should be admitted that over the years the reflections have been refined and sounded much more convincing than before. I was directly impressed. But still, just in case, he asked - when, old man, was the last time you were THERE?

It turned out that never. Because the ugly scoop did not give money. A smart person is paid little, very little.

Okay, I say, an argument. What kind of emigration programs have you tried? There are a lot of them. Some of them left for an internship on the student's side and stayed, others, as a specialist, left on a work visa. And also Canada accepts, Australia, New Zealand. South Africa finally, although I'm not sure if it's worth going there now.

It turns out I haven't tried any of them. And I didn't even know that the programs existed. Apparently, they had to come themselves, ask politely, give a lot of money, and that's when!

But about asking too, as it turned out, everything is not easy. Because my friend knows English as part of the institute course. As they say, reads with a dictionary. But he doesn’t speak. Only this is not scary, because learning a language, in his opinion, is not a problem. He will come to a good place and learn. Delov something.

And again he began to tell me how cool everything is THERE.

From such informational intensity I even somehow got sick. Listen, I say, but let's better tell you how it is THERE. I just flew from there two weeks ago. And before that I was a month ago. And in general I visit quite regularly. And not on sightseeing tours, but at work. I communicate with people, observe different things. There is some survival experience.

Without fluency in the language, you are worse than a Tajik in Moscow there. When the locals hear your wonderful accent, they won't even give you a broomstick. Roll up your specialty in the humanities and your candidate's degree in it and try to use it instead of a broom. They are of no use. In order to achieve something THERE, you have to be five times smarter, more patient and hardworking than the locals. Then there are chances to get out over time. And then you will have to deal with evil manilovism until old age.

My friend frowned. Such cool illusions were - and that's what, dimmed. But, apparently, not for very long. Because he promised to write to me, to consult about emigration programs. And he never wrote. Probably, he continues to speak eloquently about the scoop and rashka. In ten years I will listen to it again and compare the impressions.

And he is not the only one. Damned social networks are constantly slipping experts on foreign life, judging her by her trip to the Czech Republic and summer vacations in Turkey. Other tapes only consist of re-posts of all kinds of game about the horrors in the "Rashka" and Justice in the foreign country.

Only today, such experts happily laid out another lament of Yaroslavna about how anesthesiologists are not appreciated in Russia. Someone's respected dad received only 25 thousand rubles at the end of a month of work. Oh horror, the son exclaims, in the USA anesthesiologists earn so much in three hours, and dad worked one hundred and fifty hours! If only he lived in America!..

The habit of comparing warm with soft is very typical for experts of this level. Firstly, it is not at all a fact that a dad, born in America, could learn to be an anesthesiologist. Medical education is quite paid there. And extremely long-lasting. Not everyone has enough drive and patience. Secondly, while you are studying, you make good debts, which you then have to pay back. Pretty long. And a relatively large salary following the results of 10-12 years of study is largely spent on repaying loans. Unfortunately, making money is not easy everywhere. Thirdly, it is not at all a fact that the respected dad would have been able to get a fat salary. Because clinics in the States also count money. And they gladly hire people from other countries - Europe, India and even China. Because they can be paid less. Anesthesiologist is not an independent specialty, you cannot open your own office. He always has something to do with it. There are many nuances. Yes, of course, there are excellent clinics in the States with fabulous salaries. But comparing oneself to their employees is as ridiculous as comparing their salary with those of Tom Cruise using the example of the Saratov Youth Theater. With all due respect to the example of the Saratov Youth Theater.

It is strange, stupid, and useless to seek oblivion in the scourge of one's own country and wet dreams of another. It's bad for you, uncomfortable, they don't let you turn around - leave. Pack up and leave. It's a shame, of course, that Russia will lose a strong professional, but it will cope. I am writing this without the slightest irony, honestly.

If everything is really as bad as you are trying to tell everyone, you have to leave. Even if it’s half as bad, don’t waste time doubting, leave. There are a lot of options. The main thing is not to be lazy to look for them. You cannot live in an environment that is disgusting to you. This is just not normal. Especially if you are firmly convinced that somewhere else everything will be different. And there is no need to remind others every day what idiots they are. People don't like this. And everywhere.

But it often happens that people hide their own laziness, stupidity and dishonesty behind stories about "Rashka". For example, one of the most popular online denouncers of the Regime in my memory was fired twice from the same organization for theft. He stole, which is typical, not from his superiors, but from his subordinates. The first time he was caught by the hand and fired. A few years later, he confessed: he was wrong, he wants to eat, take it back. Have taken. And six months later they were kicked out again, because the citizen began to do the same. To the question "How is it, Andryusha?", He muttered something unintelligible. Say, pay little, creatures, so you have to spin. Now he competently talks about the thieves around. He, of course, knows better.

This example is not comprehensive. But, in general, indicative. When someone lives with hatred and does nothing to get rid of the cause, this is a very bad sign. There is only one way to get rid of "rashka" - to rid yourself of it.

Do it, dear man. Or don’t grimace.
