More recently, the legendary National Geographic announced the long-awaited results of the prestigious 2017 Nature Photographer of the Year competition. The winners were selected from 11,000 photographs submitted from around the world. In addition to the main prize-winner, the magazine presented the best images in four categories: Wildlife, Landscapes, Habitat and Underwater photography.
The Grand Prix winner received a cash prize of $ 7,500 and the publication of his winning snapshot in an upcoming issue of National Geographic. Winners in each of the 4 categories will receive $ 2,500. We present to your attention the work of the main prize-winner, as well as the best of the best photographs in other nominations, selected by the jury.
