It would seem that the rules of hygiene in different civilized countries may differ little. But this is not the case, considering that in the modern world, even hygiene is dependent on the economy. And in this sense, some of the grooming habits of Russian women are a little shocking, for example, European women.

First of all, this applies to any water procedures, starting with the morning wash. Women in European countries, accustomed to saving in everything, cannot accept the fact that Russian women wash themselves under running water. In England or France, Belgium or Germany, this is done by plugging the drain hole in the sink. Many of our compatriots who work abroad or go there often on business trips made friends from the locals there and visited them. They noticed that in some families in England and Germany, for example, in order to save money, it is customary for the whole family to wash in the same water collected in the sink. This is also confirmed by the Russians who have visited these countries on the student exchange program.

Everyday shower is used in all countries. But our compatriots terrify European women from the duration of the shower and from the fact that the water flows there continuously. It is customary for them to close the water while soaping the head, rubbing with gel. By the way, many women in Western Europe do not wash off the gel from the body. This is not only water saving, but also the possibility, in their opinion, of further use of the oils contained in this gel.

For most Russian women, it is considered the norm to use a shower twice a day (in fairness, it must be said that in Russia there are female individuals who, even having conditions, rarely look into the shower). In Europe, showers twice a day are an exorbitant luxury. Recently, if necessary, the ladies there, instead of taking a shower, wipe themselves with wet wipes. It is significantly cheaper.

It is a common thing to meet a lady of any age with unwashed hair on the streets of Europe. The damned economy does not allow them to wash their hair every day. Therefore, Russian women in Europe are calculated immediately by their hairstyle. Only the fair sex from the CIS countries not only wash their hair, but also style it carefully before going out.

Again, the savings make the British wash their bed linen once a month, at three, every six months. On this occasion, even a special study was carried out, during which it turned out: about 500 thousand British women wash bedding only three times a year, and every sixth - once a month.

By the way, washing dishes after every meal is also a purely Russian trait. German and Danish women not only will not touch it (there is a dishwasher), but they will also go to neighbors to borrow clean dishes, because the dishwasher is not yet full enough. Of course, this does not apply to everyone. Many families wash their dishes daily. But, firstly, it should still accumulate a sufficient amount to wash everything at once in one water collected in the sink, and secondly, after washing it is not rinsed, and wiped with foam on the edges of the plates is an extra expense water is misplaced.

Patricia Robel came to Russia from Germany several years ago. The first thing that caught her eye in our country was the number of well-groomed women on the streets, usually in neat clothes, with clean and styled hair and manicure. But often very brightly painted (in Europe to paint brightly and catchy, especially during the day, this is bad manners).

And Israeli Karmit Dahan, a cosmetologist, is sure that if all her clients were from Russia, she would have become rich long ago. Carmit means the reverent attitude of Russian women to their appearance and the willingness to support it by all available means.

For the sake of fairness, it must be said that we also have our minus. Europeans will throw away their underwear without regret as soon as they see that after washing it can no longer have its original freshness. Many Russian women (for the sake of all the same damned savings) will cover their underwear almost to the point of holes. But here, as they say, everyone saves on their own.
