A selection of materials about the sad state of affairs in Russian show business, about the clans that have ridden the financial flows of this business.

"And for whom did Galkin build the castle ?!"

Many stars loudly announce their retirement from the stage. Don't you have such thoughts? For example, arrange a farewell tour like Alla Pugacheva

- So the artists do not leave. This is all advertising. They leave the stage quietly.

And the real artists don't leave at all. As one poem says: "Trees die while standing …"

Klavdia Ivanovna Shulzhenko, for example, quietly left. And she didn't shout about it. Although she was already over 70 years old and developed Alzheimer's disease.

I visited Klavdia Ivanovna. But she hardly recognized anyone anymore …

I really like how Alla Pugacheva sang. She is a wonderful artist. And as a person, I do not accept her behavior in life. But I have no right to criticize. I'm not a priest!

- Well, the same priests say that Alla Borisovna needs to repent

- Let her think about it. Alla is now stagnant. But you will see! She will be back on stage!

How do you like the castle of Maxim Galkin?

- I saw it in the magazine. Galkin says that he is Russian, but in fact, of course, he is a Jew. Curly and very smart, since he managed to collect or steal on the lock. This is his palace, like Versailles. Only worse!.. I do not know how to envy, I just think so. But in general, show off is a sin when you want to show that you are better than others … It shouldn't be so … And for whom did he build it?

For yourself…

- How for yourself? He's not eternal either! Alla will no longer have children … (Thinks.) What, will he bequeath the castle to her grandchildren?.. No! He will find someone else! He will probably marry again!

Actually, Maxim and Alla are thinking about a common child …

- Nonsense! Surrogacy is a sin! Chemical continuation of humanity … Well, God bless them … Nobody gave us the right to judge them.

I never took royalties in envelopes

Did you pay a lot?

- Not. But there was enough for a bottle of good wine and new shoes. Life did not spoil me. Only once, on a tour in Khabarovsk, four men took the stage and threw a mink coat over my shoulders. It was a gift from the oilmen.

I wouldn’t have enough money for such, we were getting a pittance. And I never knew how to steal. The highest state rate was 38 rubles per concert.

The director and her husband worked with me. And she said to me: “Editochka, if you receive a fee in an envelope in excess of what the state pays you, we will leave you. We do not want to sit in prison in our old age because of you. We ask: don’t even take a ruble”.

I said: "I will not take it." Therefore, I am not chic.

Pugacheva was the first to set the condition: “I don’t sing at stadiums for 38 rubles. In an envelope for me."

I call her the first converted artist.

Her dad is Jewish.

And Kirkorov's mother is Jewish.

He considers himself a Bulgarian. I think he shouldn't offend my mother. The law is this: if your mother is Jewish, then you are also Jewish.

From an interview with Regina Dubovitskaya, host of the "Full House" program:

- You know, since childhood I have been considered Jewish, I don’t know why. Jewish blood flows in me, but on a par with Polish and Armenian. The first time I felt it was in Chisinau, where I studied at school. There, the word "Jew" was completely commonplace and did not have an aggressive connotation. But national disunity was felt. Then, after moving to Kostroma, the situation was exactly the opposite, and the feeling of any national hostility did not haunt me.

- What do you think is indicative of the Jewish mentality?

- The main thing is a sense of solidarity. Where others try to cope alone, Jews always solve problems together. Apparently this happened due to the historical situation when people of this nationality were persecuted and persecuted.

- How often do you tour in Israel and how are you met by the local audience from our former fellow citizens?

- We visit Israel every year, for example, and now we have received invitations. As for the audience, they are greeted with enthusiasm, sometimes even too much. People come to the street literally grab the sleeve and shout loudly: "Here is Regina Dubovitskaya!"

Kaddish(aram. קַדִּישׁ - "Saint") is a Jewish prayer that glorifies the holiness of the name of God and His power and expresses the desire for final redemption and salvation.

MEMORIES OF B. M. SICHKIN ABOUT THE COMPOSER VLADIMIR SHAINSKY

On April 12, the day of cosmonautics, Shainsky, Zubkov and I performed for the cosmonauts, and after the concert Colonel General Komanin took us to a banquet.

The banquet was also attended by other senior military officials; I especially remember the twice Hero of the Soviet Union, a test pilot with the rank of Major General.

A charming intelligent man with a wonderful Russian language, he told funny stories from the life of the testers, touched upon the Six Day War, spoke highly of the skill of the Israeli pilots, complained that Soviet pilots had to fight far from their homeland, and many of them were shot down on the Arab-Israeli front.

Suddenly the tipsy Shainsky got up:

The general was slightly taken aback by this unexpected statement, but calmly said:

- US, - Shainsky interrupted, emphasizing the word "us", - your order does not interest. Fly wherever you want, but we will not allow us to climb.

Zubkov and I listened to our usually quiet, charming, and then suddenly roaming around, Shainsky, simultaneously with admiration and horror. In our hearts, we agreed with him, but, as the inhabitants of Odessa say, I found the time and place. He said about 25 years of hard labor, and our term, as listeners and did not object, dragged on for ten years.

Most surprisingly, not one of those present was in a hurry to make a false-patriotic statement proving his love for Soviet power; on the contrary, they even kind of sympathetically reacted to what Shainsky said.

- All my songs are Jewish, - Shainsky said. - These are Kaddish songs, altered under the supposedly Russian songs. See, - sat down at the piano and began to play first his songs, and then the corresponding Jewish prayers, explaining in detail how he adjusted them to the Russian flavor.

The evening ended with general laughter
