At the end of October, many foreign and domestic paranormal news sites published a note about a rather entertaining incident: a huge boulder called "Magic Rock" disappeared in the Prescott National Forest (Arizona, USA), which was a landmark and even the pride of the reserve.
The fact is that this stone was a kind of landmark for tourists and even the staff of the reserve. In addition, the boulder was graceful in itself (it was dark in color, but with bright blotches of white quartz, which "threw" a kind of spider-web picture on it), and therefore almost everyone who came here loved to be photographed against its background.

And this stone, weighing more than a ton, suddenly "escaped". His disappearance was noticed by one of the park rangers, who immediately raised the alarm, and soon the local police were already involved in this case, reminding through the press that such "tricks" entail a fine of 5 thousand dollars or six months in prison. The guards of order were somehow convinced that the boulder had been stolen by some pranksters, although at the "crime scene" there was not the slightest trace that the kidnappers should have left. The stone seemed to evaporate or instantly teleported …
Until Halloween night, the police did not receive a single phone call regarding the missing rock, and on November 1, the boulder suddenly reappeared in the park. He returned as mysteriously as he disappeared. Here's what Park Ranger Sarah Clawson (pictured) said to CNN reporters:
We have already resigned ourselves to this loss, since we had practically no hopes for the return of the "Magic Rock". The police were simply unable to find what had disappeared mystically: not a trace of technology, not even the slightest sign that someone had lifted the stone, loaded it onto something and took it away. This is all one thing to look for the wind in the field. But the boulder also mystically returned. You can assume anything, up to the intervention of aliens, but getting to the bottom of the truth is still unlikely to succeed.
This, for example, was perfectly understood by the police, who immediately dropped the case, sighing with relief, and without even trying to either attract someone for false information about the disappearance of the stone, or comment on what happened from the point of view of common sense.

And only researchers of paranormal phenomena immediately put forward several theories according to which the stone disappeared and then returned. Here they are:
- it is quite possible that aliens are involved here, but it is not clear why they needed this stone, for what research or manipulation;
- the stone teleported to another dimension or even time, which seems the most convincing, but again, its return is very mysterious, as if this process was directed by someone from above;
- this stone can be intelligent, possessing certain supernatural powers, thanks to which it can move itself wherever it wants;
- we live in the matrix, and therefore there was simply a failure in its work, then someone fixed it - that's all.
By the way, there are more incredible assumptions that we simply will not mention.
But now a little more than a month has passed since the moment the stone returned to its original place, the passions around this event gradually subsided. But … this applies only to journalists and even researchers of the paranormal, but not to the employees of the Prescott National Forest. The fact is that since then the rangers of the reserve began to notice that the boulder has changed. Not outwardly, of course, but its inner content, so to speak, has been transformed.

None of the reserve staff can really say what this is specifically expressed in, but the stone really became as if "alive". Maybe aliens really abducted him to make some unknown device or robot out of this boulder? That is, the "Magic Rock" is overgrown with new riddles, it really becomes "magic". Interestingly, pundits will think of investigating this amazing pebble?..
