Terabytes of articles have already been written about the masterpieces of "Petersburg" architecture, and several weeks of continuous video viewing have been filmed. The Hermitage, Montferrand's Column, Kazan and St. Isaac's Cathedrals have already been examined under a microscope. But there is one very mysterious building on the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, which has not yet attracted close attention of researchers. This is the so-called stock exchange building. But in vain it did not attract!

In my opinion, it is already obvious to everyone that the churches in St. Petersburg are not churches at all, and if they are churches, then they are certainly not Christian. But with the exchange, everything is exactly the opposite. It is a classic example of what the Uchionites stubbornly call ancient temples. It is true only when such a temple is located somewhere in the south, in the Mediterranean.

They say listen to a woman and do the opposite. The same is true of the official historians. If they say "temple", it means exactly some kind of factory, power plant, or communications company. They say the stock exchange means that it’s definitely a temple, or a museum, I don’t know why these things were actually created. But I definitely don’t believe that they are there to bang their heads on the floor.

So. The discrepancy between the appearance of the structure and its declared purpose served as the first impetus to start collecting information. Further, the inconsistency and "far-fetched" of the official information about the history of the birth of the "stock exchange" were predictably surfaced. To disassemble this heap of nonsense of historians, I have not even the slightest desire. Who cares, let him read this "reader". It lacks only the involvement in the construction of the uncles of Montferrand and Martos. I would also add here the story of the centenary war of a wolf and three pigs.

Then I came across an amazing phenomenon, it turns out that they were building for a hundred years - they were building, but for what … they still cannot decide. Today, the doors of the exchange are still boarded up for visitors. Only two reliable periods, for the entire time of existence, knowledge was at least somehow used. Question: - WHY? !!! Are there so many vacant real estate in St. Petersburg?

Questions arise: - why did you need to build a stock exchange in the antique style, and why not turn it into a temple, following the example of the Kazan Cathedral? After all, whatever one may say, the building is more suitable than others for the role of a religious building, but they persistently try to pass it off as anything but a temple. And why is access to indoor spaces so limited? After all, there was a good period when the Central Museum of the USSR Naval Forces was located in the "stock exchange". What forced the authorities to expel the museum workers from there, and again to board the doors for visitors?

The next mysterious moment that I encountered while studying the "stock exchange" is the extremely small number of high-resolution images taken inside the building. It seems that shooting the interior is prohibited as in a security facility. It turned out that engravings of the nineteenth century depicting the operating stock exchange in St. Petersburg are almost more numerous than photographs of the expositions of the Central Museum of the Navy. How so !?

And then, I came across this article: "The Miracle of the World: the statue of Olympian Zeus", and it was like an electric shock that pierced me.

Well this is necessary! As if by order, you are looking for an answer, but it suddenly comes from where they didn’t expect … I was afraid to make a mistake, and even now I am not sure of anything, but in such cases there is a sure sign that I was on the trail. It is not scientific, it is impossible to fix it and present it to the community, but it exists. This is a slight tremor, like a bloodhound, which already senses the beast.

What should be done in such cases? Look for facts that will confirm or disprove the guess. Where to start? Of course, from a comparison of the known information about the two structures. And then I was covered … I laughed out loud the whole evening, because it turns out that there is almost more information on the mythical “second wonder of the world” in the Infoset than on the really existing St. Petersburg stock exchange. That's the number!

How can it be that there is more information about the temple of Zeus, which no one has ever seen, in "Vika" than about an object on the balance sheet of the city of St. Petersburg, with all the attributes relying on in such cases, a technical passport, a Certificate of Right property, an extract from the cadastral register, etc.?

OK. Laughed and that's enough. What do we know about the architecture of the "Temple of Zeus"? I won't touch on the details, let's take the main parameters - dimensions. Scientists say that the Olympic temple had 34 columns and was 27 meters wide and 64 meters long. First, let's take a look at the reconstruction of the temple from the 19th century engraving:

As a starting point, take the height of the people in the image. Now answer the question: - Do you believe that the indicated dimensions are 27x64m. can you "cram" all this? The answer is obvious. 27x64 is the size of not even a cowshed, but a sheepfold, and even then not the largest. But the size of the "exchange" … But with its size, some kind of devilry. There is no intelligible information. I had to measure it with a ruler in the Google Earth service. Guess what happened? Multiply the known figures for the size of the Olympic temple, and you get the exact size of the "stock". Doubters can easily check for themselves. With the number of columns, the same picture. There are not 34, but exactly a dozen more, 44, which is natural for structures of this scale.

St. Petersburg "Temple of Zeus", whatever one may say, is much more suitable for the role of a receptacle for the "second wonder of the World." For readers with the name Svetlana, I focus on the absence of a comma between the words "miracle" and "Light". So, just in case)))

Now compare the alleged sketch of Zeus himself on the old engraving, and the "badge" on the facade of the Stock Exchange. Not suggestive?

As you can see, there are no fundamental differences. The head of the staff is a trifling matter. Anything could be there tomorrow, right down to the shift lever for a manual transmission. And the outstretched right hand of the muschina could well have been earlier with a winged creature on it, the same, by the way, which "lives" on the top of the Alexandrian pillar. Don't you think that the quality of execution of the right palm is Alive (Zeus), and its size, is discordant with the general appearance of the entire sculptural group? But this is a clear sign of a remake, falsification. Maybe at first it was something like this:

It's not for nothing that this man sat on the central pediment! It was in the tradition of the ants, to depict on the main facade of the one to whom the temple, in fact, belongs. In this regard, we have not gone far from the ants. If the store belongs to Ikea, then the inscription above the entrance also says Ikea, not Omskgazmyas.

The version is probably "crude", but Dmitry Enkov added fuel to the fire, who claims that the Cabinet of Curiosities is the Library of Alexandria. By the way, there is something to think about.

I forgot to voice one important, in my opinion, thought. It would not be correct to consider the building separately from the whole composition of the arrow, including the raster towers.

(the Masonic symbol of the columns Boaz and Yakhin), sculptures, the geometry of pavements and squares, as well as water streams that wash the entire "device".

But the most surprising thing was that the very sculpture of Zeus (U-Peter) did not disappear anywhere. She simply changed her registration and is now in the Hermitage. And so that no one would guess, they gave Jupiter a psychic stick on the pediment (a trident, this is the Greek letter "PSI"), and called him Neptune. Well, at least not one of the real characters of the Romanov Court.
