Video: The mystery of ancient honey, or what our ancestors ate

Honey … At the mere mention of it, for some reason I want to smile. Some pleasant associations immediately arise: childhood, grandmother, summer, meadow, sun … For some reason, we have calm confidence in this word. When we are offered it, we usually rarely refuse, understanding in our gut: it is curative, it is useful.
All Zemstvo healing of the pre-revolutionary period is also associated with Honey, it is often mentioned both orally and in various ancient medical books. He was treated for wounds, acute and chronic diseases of internal origin, he was indispensable for exhaustion, weakness and simply fatigue. There is historical evidence that during the wars, when there were no medicines, bandages with honey were applied to the wounds, and the wounds healed without complications.
Sometimes we, tired of taking pharmaceuticals, begin to treat ourselves, at home, and, of course, each of us at least once in our life, at least a cold, tried to treat with honey. Someone succeeded, but, as a rule, we did not feel much benefit, although it was said in the medical books that honey helps very well.
In the old days, honey was officially considered a medicine and stood in Zemsky pharmacies. Many recipes prescribed nothing more than herbal honey. Why are there no results today that supposedly were in the old days? What is this exaggeration?
Until recently, it was believed that the healing properties of honey were greatly exaggerated. But if you think soberly, what was the reason for our ancestors to do this? And then one day, while reading a historical book about the Old Believers who lived in the forests, I came across a paragraph describing the events related to honey. A number of terms turned out to be unfamiliar to me. Another paragraph - and again a novelty.
Trying to understand what it was all about, I suddenly felt that I had unearthed something simple, but very important. With this thought, I began a purposeful search, and after a while, when I summarized everything, I wanted to exclaim: “Eureka! Found it!”- as it happened in ancient times with Newton, who discovered the Law of universal gravitation.
But what shocked me so much later, but for now I want to ask you:
- Do you like bee products?
It seems that the answer will be undoubtedly - "Yes" - otherwise you would not undertake to read this book.
- Do you regularly use bee products?
- Yes sometimes…
- Excuse me, what do you use specifically?
The usual answer is "Honey." And sometimes also: "Pollen" or: "Propolis". As a rule, it does not go further.
This is where this SECRET is hidden! When I ask a question about bee production at my lectures, they answer me: "We eat honey." That is, many people identify a bee product with honey, and these are somewhat different concepts.
Let's go in order. What's on your table? A jar of honey. Where did you get it from? From the market. And where from? From the beekeeper. Where did he get it from? From the hive. Let's mentally come closer to the hive and try to understand what else is there besides honey. Let's start to remember: honey, propolis, pollen, bee bread, royal jelly, bee venom, wax. Here they are, the 7 main components that the Bee has given to Man for thousands of years.
Historically, the bee is about 56 million years old. This age was determined by radioisotope analysis of a bee found inside amber. This bee turned out to be the same as it is today! This means that this creature was created even before the appearance of Homo sapiens! From that time to the present day, it has been producing the same products for many millions of years, and has not undergone species changes over the past millennia. This means that a living and so perfect Supersystem was created deliberately, which does not need evolutionary correction.
Agree, a super-system cannot produce imperfect products. Historically, this is also confirmed: in many burials, vessels with honey, royal rings with a bee, and whole sacred treatises dedicated to the bee are found. And all this was found, as a rule, in those regions where the development of civilizations began, intellectual outbursts arose - in Ancient Egypt, the states of the Aztecs, Maya, etc.
You can read whole lectures about each product from a bee, which we do at our Health Centers. There is a lot of popular literature on this topic, but for those who are new to the Bee, I would recommend - as especially interesting and useful - the book by G. V. Gordomysova "Human organism"(the third edition is the most complete) and the book "Bee health school" … The author of the last book, doctor-apitherapist T. V. Ruzankina, describes the bee with such tenderness and love, talks so fully about beekeeping and the results of her work, gives such effective recipes that I have probably never seen a better publication about the Bee.
So, the hive has 7 main components. And we usually use, and even then sometimes, only one fraction of bee products - honey. Where are the other six? You will not find it even during the day with fire. And if you find it, you’ll still think about taking it or not. For your information: about 70-80% of market honeys are of dubious quality, although all sellers have certificates (but this is a topic for another conversation). I can only say that honey is the most falsified product. Now the demand for it has sharply increased not only in Russia, but also in the world. In order to accelerate the supply of honey to the market, a number of gross violations are allowed, as a result of which many parameters are distorted and the value of honey drops sharply.
Each beehive product is unique and extremely beneficial in its own right. Our ancestors used them all and regularly, why are they not on our table? The reason for this is scientific and technological progress, namely, the emergence of a honey extractor. What it is? This is the separation of the honey from the rest of the contents of the hive.
The honey extractor is a stainless steel barrel. The beekeeper puts there cassettes-frames with honey, then turns the handle - centrifuges and honey flows down the walls of the honey extractor down to the bottom of the barrel, and then through the tap into the jar. Here is the path for honey from the hive to get to our table. Only honey, only one fraction of bee products - everything else remained in the hive, in the combs. It remains ownerless: either it is not in demand, or it goes to reheat.
What was it like before, 300 years ago? Our ancestor went to the forest, found a hollow with a hive, at night with a special spoon scrapped everything that was there: honey, wax, pollen and bee bread. Bees with bee venom, royal jelly, propolis swam in the honey. All this was mixed, very highly appreciated and everything was eaten without a trace. And in pharmacies, honey was given in crushed or crushed, that is, all this mass was squeezed and squeezed. What dripped contained all the ingredients: honey, propolis, bee pollen, royal jelly, crushed bees (bee venom), wax. They all turned out to be dissolved in honey. And this mixture was called "honey". Although it was not just honey, but honey-composite.
In science there is such a concept - the effect of synergy. This is when 1 + 1 is greater than 2. In our case, Synergism is the body's response to the combined effect of two or more drugs, in which the effect exceeds the effect of each drug separately. That is, when mixing, combining two components, a third is obtained, but it is not just a combination of the first two. This is a "new third", which has the properties of its constituent components plus a new property that is not present in the constituents.
So, all the components of beekeeping have a synergistic effect, and old honey is not just a mixture of seven components, it is a completely new product, it was just called the same as the modern one - "honey". The name is the same, but the products are completely different! Now it is clear why we eat and drink honey, but there is little benefit. And the reference books describe that "honey heals a thousand ailments, gives joy to thought and lifts the spirit …". It was, of course, about composite honey! This is what the real legendary honey of our ancestors is!
There is very interesting literary data related to crushed honey:"… Matvey went to crush honey, the winter was going to be long and harsh …", "… the midwife strictly watched that before feeding the young mother lubricated the nipples of her breasts with honey …". See what happens: the baby is fed 5-7 times a day, at each feeding he simply swallows 3-4 drops of honey, half a teaspoon is collected per day, and this is a very decent dose of special food in terms of a kilogram of baby's weight.
Is this why, having a meager household food, our ancestors had excellent health, which, in all likelihood, they received in infancy !? By the way, this is supported by many data from pediatricians working with bee products and observing the results. With regular use of real bee products, children simply stop getting sick and develop well. Isn't this a dream of any mother ?!
To our great regret, the bee products market now does not shine with an assortment, and what we have is not what we need. And again the question arises: where to get all this? Where is the guarantee of the quality of what you find? I once asked myself the same question. But, there is nothing to do: I took what I have from my grandfather in the village. Fortunately for us, the seeker will find. And I found it! And in the process of searching, I learned a lot of new and interesting things. It turns out that in Russia there are about 200 companies working with beekeeping products.
Before the revolution, Russia was the most honey country. All of Europe bought honey from Russia, and the country's gold financial reserves were strengthened from the honey trade. It was called the liquid gold of Russia. Our Russian northern honeys were considered the best for the simple reason that the Russian bee, preparing for the long, harsh winter all the short summer, was stocking up on very high quality honey. After all, she needed to survive and live until spring. Therefore, it was Russian honeys that were strong and medicinal.
Now the great Russian beekeeping industry, like many other industries, is simply in disaster.
After I figured out what real honey is, what its strength is, I literally caught fire, setting myself the task: to find and have in my diet at home the whole range of bee products of the best quality in sufficient quantities for the whole family. I had to find it and have it, no matter how much it cost! Because, after reading a huge amount of literature on this issue, from popular to scientific, I realized not with my mind, but with my soul that today these products are an urgent need for any family, everyone needs them for health reasons.
The medical term "for health reasons" means that you have no choice, you have to accept the doctor's recommendation, otherwise it can be very bad. As a rehabilitation doctor with eighteen years of experience, knowing the problem of exhaustion and fatigue of the body firsthand, I will repeat once again: to all of us living in the territory of the former USSR, regardless of age, gender, religion, bee production is recommended for health reasons.
I now have a whole range of excellent bee products at home all year round, it has become a norm of life - to have it on my table every day. And the results speak for themselves: the family is full of doctors (4 people), but there are no medicines at home, and there are no illnesses either - neither serious, nor even banal colds. Attractive, isn't it?

Wooden dishes of the Slavs - how did our ancestors eat?
It is difficult to say from what time the manufacture of chiseled wooden dishes began in Russia. Archaeological finds on the territory of Novgorod and on the site of Bulgarian settlements in the Volga region indicate that the lathe was known as early as the 12th century. In Kiev, in the secret places of the tithe church, a chiseled bowl was found during excavations. In the XVI-XVII centuries. installation of the simplest, so-called bow, lathe was available to every ordinary artisan

Ancient Slavic amulets of our ancestors
Rings and signet rings were worn much more often in the old days than they are today. The girl put on a thin ring on her left hand, the woman wore large, noticeable rings on her right, and when she became an old woman, she passed the jewelry as a sign of vitality to her heiress. Lattice rings are one of the most famous finds of antique jewelry. Such jewelry was worn in the XII-XIII centuries
