Conspiracy theory and criticism of controversial ufologist William Cooper

Not so long ago, William Milton Cooper, a supporter of the conspiracy theory of the American authorities with aliens, was considered one of the most notorious ufologists in the United States. Born on May 6, 1943, he gained fame after in the spring of 1989 he sent 536 copies of the "Prosecution Petition", full of the most sensational revelations, to members of the US Senate and House of Representatives.

Mysterious sightings, mysterious documents

William Milton Cooper liked to say that he was born into a military family, that all his ancestors served the Fatherland faithfully and truly and were true patriots. During the Second World War, his father was a military pilot and allegedly often told his son about the notorious "fu-fighters" that the allies met in the skies of Germany. William, in his own words, did not believe his father, "listened with the edge of his ear, laughed and went to play." But in his mature years, having become a naval sailor, he himself saw a UFO, and his worldview changed radically.

Cooper said that this happened while sailing on the submarine Turoot, en route from Portland to Pearl Harbor: “I saw a saucer-shaped object, which was much larger in size than a Midway-class aircraft carrier … It rose up out of the water, being in the distance about two and a half nautical miles from us, on the left side of the submarine. The ship slowly revolved around its axis and disappeared, rising behind the clouds. Cooper later claimed that other crew members were also witnesses to the appearance of the giant flying saucer. “What I saw changed my whole life, because all the stories that I heard during my life turned out to be true. I began to look at the world with different eyes,”the sailor confessed, shocked by what he saw.

A little later, William Milton Cooper found himself in Vietnam, in Da Nang, where he served as the commander of a patrol ship, which, in addition to ensuring the safety of navigation, was engaged in collecting intelligence information about the intentions of the North Vietnamese partisans. It was during his patrol duty that Cooper allegedly again collided with UFOs, which in official reports were registered as "enemy helicopters." Although, according to Cooper, the Viet Cong did not have any helicopters. After all, American aviation reigned supreme in the sky.

After Vietnam, Cooper was assigned to the intelligence directorate of the headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief of the US Pacific Fleet, located in the Hawaiian Islands. It was there, as William later argued, that information of extraordinary importance fell into his hands. The fact of the service of William Milton Cooper in Vietnam and in the intelligence of the Pacific Fleet has never been disputed by anyone. True, Cooper's opponents assured that there was no permanent reconnaissance group with the commander of the fleet, but this is doubtful - reconnaissance at sea, as well as on land, existed almost always and everywhere. Moreover, in the event of a major war with the USSR, the US Pacific Fleet was assigned one of the key roles.

- You cannot imagine the amount of information that the commander-in-chief should know. He needs to know everything that is happening in order to make the right decisions, said Cooper in 1989. So messages marked "Top Secret" did pass through his hands. Another question is what was in these messages. According to Cooper, it was all fantastic.

Penetration of "aliens"

First of all, Cooper, referring to the materials of the secret project "Discontent", with which he allegedly got acquainted, said that UFOs really exist, and not only in the heated imagination of ufologists, but also in reality. Moreover, they are indeed extraterrestrial aircraft. In Roswell, an alien ship did crash, and this was the second such disaster in the 20th century. Earlier, in 1936, a similar disk crashed in Nazi Germany and was captured by the Nazis, who tried to use alien technology for their weapons of retaliation.

Cooper said that after the Roswell incident, a highly secret group, Majestic-12 (MJ-12), was indeed created, designed to oversee all issues related to the alien presence on Earth. The members of this group did not waste time, but attracted fifty of the most highly qualified US specialists to study the fallen disc. Cooper called this group the Jason Society. High-minded scientists from this society also did not eat their bread for nothing, and the results of their labors began to find practical benefits already in the mid-1950s as part of the Red Light project, implemented at the top-secret Nevada testing ground Zone 51, built on the orders of Dwight D. Eisenhower.

However, the landfill was not without accidents. In 1962, a disk exploded over Nevada, which was controlled by terrestrial pilots. Things got better after finally contact with aliens was established within the framework of the Sigma project, after which an intensive two-way exchange began. The Americans received a number of unique technologies, thanks to which, allegedly in the late 1950s, they visited the Moon, and in the early 1960s - and Mars. At the same time, "strangers" received carte blanche to kidnap people and animals used for some dark purposes. Eisenhower, the aliens allegedly quite sincerely told that they need people as excellent donors of enzymes (enzymes), without which they cannot live and reproduce, and also as a labor force for manual labor - for the future, obviously.

At the same time, since the establishment of contact with the "aliens" in Area 51 within the framework of the "Claw" project, maintenance of alien aircraft was established. At the same time, the ruling circles of the United States launched the "Deceiving Bird" project, within the framework of which several completely terrestrial flying saucers were created, outwardly similar to UFOs. Their task was to distract the attention of the press and the public. Those who did not want to succumb to deception were taken up by people from the NRO project - a secret service equipped with the latest technology.

MJ-12 and the death of President Kennedy

According to Cooper, already in the early 1960s, the MJ-12 group acquired such power that it got out of the control of the US Senate and Congress. Moreover, it was she who, with the help of the NRO, organized the physical elimination of President John F. Kennedy, since he planned to close this shop and tell the truth to the American people. “They were the ones who killed President Kennedy,” asserted William Milton Cooper. “Between 1970 and 1973, I read in these papers that Kennedy ordered the MJ-12 group to stop importing and selling drugs [into the United States], and also ordered a plan to be carried out within the next year to reveal the presence of aliens on Earth to the American people. His treacherous murder was ordered to be committed by the political committee of the Bilderbergers."

According to Cooper, the assassination of the president was carried out by the CIA, the fifth FBI department and the secret intelligence service of the Navy. Developing the idea, the ufologist named George W. Bush as one of the key figures in this black affair. It is curious that Cooper threw such grave accusations just during the years when Bush Sr. was president of the United States. According to Cooper, it was the oil company of the future president in the 1960s and later that served as a screen under the cover of which drugs were supplied to the States, and the money from their implementation went to finance the aforementioned projects. According to the former serviceman, more than 100 deep underground objects were built in the United States alone with money from the drug business. Several settlements have even been built on the Moon and Mars. A certain onerous treaty with "strangers" was allegedly signed by Russia as well. After that, an underground city for 30,000 inhabitants was built near Moscow, where there are warehouses with food for 50 years. Similar cities allegedly also exist in Altai and Kazakhstan.

Oddly enough, there was no prosecution by the current US president then. After Cooper's unheard-of revelations made in Los Angeles, a journalist asked why the ufologist himself was not killed, since he defied the forces that easily eliminated John F. Kennedy. William replied that murder would be the best proof of the truth of his words.

Ranch tragedy

Having brought Bush Sr. to the surface, William Milton Cooper switched to his new fellow ufologists, whom he did not hesitate to declare as agents of the secret services involved in setting up "smokescreens." Cooper said:

- They know: everything that you are going to solve is true, and they present you with information that makes you immune, and you cannot be shocked by anything.

Offended in the best feelings, the ufologists did not remain in debt and organized a campaign to expose and defame Cooper in all kinds of ways. So, in the summer of 1990, the editors of UF0 Magazine declared him a "liar". There were publications in which the former sailor was called an alcoholic, rude, swindler, adventurer and, in general, a “complete nutcase”, obsessed with weapons and for this reason posing a great danger to others.

Cooper was forced to move to the secluded Eager ranch in Arizona, from where he blamed the powers that be on the radio, urging the population to wake up and give proper rebuff to aliens. They did not take him for compulsory treatment, preferring simply not to notice, although George W. Bush once let it slip, calling Cooper "the most dangerous man of all radio speakers in America."

It all ended with the fact that on November 5, 2001, William Milton Cooper was shot by police. In the official report, without further details, it was stated that he "threatened the local residents with weapons, intimidating them." Cooper shot twice in the head of a police officer with his pistol, seriously wounding him, after which he was immediately shot by another. And everything, as they say, ends in water. So now the lovers of ufology can only guess who William Milton Cooper was: obsessed with the topic of a conspiracy between the government and aliens, or did he really possess very inconvenient and deeply classified information that he was trying to disclose?
