Social research debunks the myth of LGBT lobbyists

The gay lobbyists received a brutal blow from the most unexpected side - from the UK.

There, the YouGov research center conducted a sensational survey about sexual preferences and sexual identity of the inhabitants of Foggy Albion. His results turned out to be truly shocking, behind the dry lines of numbers, there is something very serious.

1632 people were interviewed according to a representative sample. But the most interesting thing is that the authors of the study presented it in terms of regional and gender and age.

Overall, 89% of Britons said they were heterosexual, 6% declared themselves homosexual, 2% bisexual, 1% someone else, 3% did not answer.

But the second research question was much more interesting. The respondents were asked to abandon "absolute" characteristics and switch to "relative" ones. The respondents were asked to rate their sexuality on a scale from 0 (absolute heterosexuality) to 6 (absolute homosexuality). And here it turned out, as they say, not everything is so simple …

It turns out that not 89, but 72% of Britons are positioning themselves as "absolute heterosexuals". As absolute homosexuals - 4%. But 19% believe that they are "something in between."

And here the most important detail is the division by age group.

At the age of 60 and more, 88% of respondents consider themselves to be "absolute heterosexuals", at the age of 40-59 - already 78% (but this can still be attributed to some natural factors), at the age of 25-39 - 58%, which is already very suspicious. But the biggest shock is the 18-24 age group. In it, only 46% of the respondents position themselves as completely heterosexual! Also in this age category, 6% consider themselves "purely homosexual", and 43% consider themselves to be intermediate types.

In the age group of 25-39 years, the number of homosexuals is slightly higher than among young people (9%), but the percentage of "intermediate sex" is noticeably lower.

What we have? And the fact that less than half of young Britons feel confident heterosexual today! This is abnormal in itself, and perceptibly differs both from the average indicators in society, and simply critically - from the indicators of older age categories.

Regionally, the largest number of "absolute" homosexuals live in London, the smallest - in Scotland (5 and 3%, respectively). And if in Scotland 78% of the population position themselves as completely heterosexual, in London - only 62%. It is also quite problematic to explain such different results by mere "migrations of creative personalities".

What we see in the research results is nothing more than the famous Overton Window in action.

Let's start with a regional section. In England, criminal responsibility for homosexuality was abolished in 1967, and in Scotland only in 1980. We now see how this time gap affected sexual identity. The 16% difference in heterosexuals is clearly not a "statistical error". Too much.

In terms of age, the number of convinced heterosexuals among young people is almost 2 times less than among people in the older age category. This cannot be explained by any "biology" in principle.

The factors that could change the situation so radically in some 30-40 years could be exclusively of a socio-psychological nature. By and large, this is the very notorious propaganda. True, to a large extent - cleverly camouflaged. The point here, unfortunately, is not only in the notorious gay pride parades, but also in things much more subtle.

Before proceeding to an analysis of the reasons, let us recall one more sociological study that caused a stir a few years ago in the West - and primarily in the United States. In 2010-2012, Associate Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, Doctor of Sociology Mark Regnerus conducted a comparative study of the fate of children who grew up in normal heterosexual families and children whose parents were in same-sex relationships. The results were also shocking for the LGBT lobby. 25% of grown children of homosexual parents suffered from sexually transmitted diseases (versus 8% of grown children in ordinary families), 40% were unable to remain faithful in marriage (versus 13% from ordinary families), 24% planned to commit suicide (versus 5% in ordinary families)), up to 31% were sexually abused (versus 8% of people who grew up in heterosexual families). And the most important thing! In families in which the parents had homosexual relationships, only 60 to 70% of children grew up "absolute" heterosexuals, in ordinary families there were about 90% of them. Mark Regnerus was harshly attacked, but the academic committee confirmed the scientific nature of his research. True, they still tried to speak out loud about him less often.

And now - now Britain

The formation of the sexual self-identification of people who are now "over 60" took place in the 1960s, when, we recall, homosexuality was still a criminal offense throughout Great Britain and, naturally, was not a socially approved stereotype of behavior. At the same time, the formation of sexual self-identification of the "younger age category" from the YouGov study took place in the late 1990s - 2000s, when films about "good gays" were already being shown with might and main, people who did not hide their homosexuality were already popular performers, according to gay pride parades marched on the streets of major cities, and powerful thematic lobbying campaigns were launched by educational institutions, social services and human rights organizations. Sexual minorities were disproportionately present in the media sphere for their share in society. And here we have the result. Millions of heterosexual young Britons from birth are no longer confident in their sexual identity and allow themselves to personally homosexual manifestations. We arrived …

Therefore, I do not believe that gays are safe. I saw how aggressive these people act, how it spreads. I would not want my children to be exposed to this influence. If someone has a medical problem with this, then let them behave not so noisy, not so I saw many situations when they seduce, as they make normal people abnormal. I read an amazing autobiography of Jean Marais. When he was little, he was seduced by a teacher. He writes with such pain about this, he addresses his parents: "Watch your children, look, check, because it is very scary."Then, when he grew up and became a handsome man, Jean Cocteau fell madly in love with him. Mare writes: “When he offered me cohabitation, it was very beautiful, as beautiful as the most talented Cocteau could do, I sat and thought, go along this path and have everything - roles, recognition, because he promised to throw the world to legs - or stay normal. Unfortunately, I chose Cocteau and fame."

And Komsomolskaya Pravda published an interview with one of the leading sexologists in the post-Soviet space, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Garnik Kocharyan, who told how much homosexuality was excluded from the registers of mental disorders and how psychologists and psychiatrists actually look at it:

"There is a real expansion of LGBT people … The beginning was laid on December 15, 1973. Then the Presidium of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) called for the exclusion of homosexuality from the register of mental disorders, which was not substantiated by any scientific research … rights, gross insults to psychiatrists, direct threats. For example, in 1970, gay activists broke into the annual meeting of this Association and disrupted the speech of the famous psychiatrist Irving Bieber on homosexuality, calling him a "son of a bitch" in the presence of shocked colleagues … the voting of the members of the Association took place. 5854 people, judging by the ballots, confirmed the verdict of the presidium. However, 3810 did not recognize it. The story was called an "epistemological scandal", since the decision of a purely scientific question - mental disorder or norm - by voting for the history of science is a case unique … in 197 8 was again voted on by the 10,000 members of the American Psychiatric Association. 68% of the doctors who filled out and returned the questionnaire called homosexuality a disorder … And in 1992 homosexuality was not included in the list of mental disorders of the latest international classification of diseases (ICD-10). An interesting fact: the exclusion of homosexuality from this list happened by a vote with a margin of only one vote!"

"Homosexuality should be classified as a disorder of sexual preference (paraphilia). Homosexual relationships exclude the possibility of reproduction of the human race. Therefore, their propaganda as one of the options for a healthy lifestyle from a scientific point of view is absolutely unjustified. “I repeat, there is an expansion of LGBT people on the planet, intensified propaganda of homosexuality. It merges with the asexual education of the younger generation … From the point of view of medicine, homosexuality is an undoubted pathology, a violation of sexual orientation by sex of the object of attraction. A psychiatrist who was previously an employee of our department, and now works in the United States, says that many psychiatrists overseas believe that this is a pathology, but they are silent. This is the result of political pressure on medicine."

Professor Kocharian also pointed out that homosexuality is treatable, and there are good developments in medicine on this issue. But such developments are also under attack …

Expansion is indeed taking place. The US Supreme Court recently legalized same-sex marriage across the country (it was previously prohibited in 14 states), and the US Department of State has a post of special envoy for LGBT issues.

Obama recently stated bluntly that "protecting the rights of sexual minorities is a priority of US foreign policy."

He was echoed by Hillary Clinton, who is the most likely contender for the role of President of the United States based on the results of the upcoming elections:

"No traditions or customs can be higher than human rights that are inherent in all of us … This also applies to violence against members of the LGBT community, the criminalization of their status or behavior, their expulsion from their families and local communities, the tacit or open acceptance of the killings of sexual minorities ".

In fact, American leaders hinted that for the "wrong" attitude from Washington's point of view towards LGBT people, it is now possible to get a missile and bomb attack …

True, the United States is in no hurry to bomb its allies from the Persian Gulf, who chop off homosexuals' heads in the squares. There interests are more serious - money, oil. But in the rest of the world - LGBT rights are lobbied with might and main.

If we distance ourselves from axiology, ethics and eschatology and try to look at the issue in a purely pragmatic way (although, I agree, this is very difficult), then we can talk about optimizing the manageability of societies, lowering their threshold of resistance to manipulation. Traditional values hold society together like rods in a bundle. A bundle, as you know, is much more difficult to break than rods one by one. Showy homosexuality is a selfish, individualistic challenge to society, which this very society "atomizes" and makes it less protected from external influences. However, this is just a theory.

As a proven fact, we can only say that the number of both homosexuals and people who are not confident in their heterosexuality in Britain is growing rapidly. And this can be explained exclusively by socio-psychological factors.

The YouGov Sociological Center is quite authoritative (part of the pitish Polling Council), and there are no special reasons not to trust it.

By the way, in Russia the problem described above is still far from being solved. On the one hand, the law to protect children from harmful information was a huge step forward. But on the other hand, latent propaganda in mass culture (cinema, music, etc.) has not gone anywhere, and the questions of adolescents who are faced with problems of self-identification are largely taboo. Of course, propagandists should not be allowed to visit them, who will brainwash them about how wonderful it is to be "minorities." But leaving them alone with you is also not worth it. The consequences can be dire. In general, there is a lot of difficult information for thought.
