I. Current state

As I already wrote in the article "On unreasonableness and inner values", almost 100% of modern people are unreasonable. However, their foolishness is not the same. Different unreasonable people differ among themselves in the degree of rationality, the adequacy of the perception of the situation and the readiness for change. Let's consider the classification of unreasonable people in more detail.

Let's conditionally divide unreasonable people into 2 groups. In the first group, let there be those who adhere to the stereotypes of a modern society, built according to the European model, who represent such a society and its canons as a natural variant and do not understand the inevitability of its death. In the second group there will be those who have a worldview basis, at least in part, lying outside the framework of a Europeanized society and its inherent paradigm of life.

So the first group.

1) Gravitating towards a rational perception of the world (TPM) … I already wrote about them in the article "Reasonable perception of the world as reality". These are the most advanced of the unreasonable.

TPM are rare. Unlike the rest of the unreasonable, they tend to think about things, turn to reason in their daily actions, in order to make any decision, they are able to clearly and reasonably express their thoughts and adequately perceive the reasonable arguments of others. TPM's relatively high level of intelligence has an impact on their personality. For example, they usually have a tendency to seek justice, insist on finding a true, not a compromise solution, are not prone to hypocrisy and deception, and openly say what they think about people. People who gravitate towards a rational perception of the world have only one step to become truly rational, which, however, they cannot take. The gravitation towards rational behavior in TPM is a consequence of their certain intuitive inclination, and not a clearly perceived position. Therefore, TRMs defend and define for themselves as correct beliefs some ideas, decisions, the correctness of which they understand, however, they never defend a reasonable approach by itself and do not try to seek and defend the right decisions, a reasonable choice in any situation. On the contrary, adhering to the correct decisions and a reasonable approach in one area, they can adhere to stereotypes, dogmas, stubbornly, like all emotionally minded people, be guided by emotional preferences and evaluative labels, experiencing amazing laziness and avoiding the slightest attempts to understand things in another. Often, TPM simply does not want to delve into things, if this can shake familiar ideas, shrugs off questions incomprehensible to him, ignores correct, but somehow does not like ideas, constantly intersperses reasonable decisions with irrational ones, and even sometimes tries to actively select these irrational decisions. false, supposedly "rational" justification. Although TPM is capable of acting rationally, the rational approach and style of thinking and the approach and style of thinking characteristic of emotionally minded people are mixed in a heap and he does not distinguish between them, acting on the principle of "I want to do it intelligently, but I want to do not."

TPM also has other negative qualities. Usually they are much smarter than most of those around them, which they perfectly understand, and not only understand, but also get used to it. This often encourages them to reevaluate their own ideas and thoughts and instead of constructively testing them or developing or proving them to others, as a reasonable person would do, take the position of a stubborn person who always follows only their own ideas and thoughts in principle. For this reason - excessive intoxication with one's own mind and intellect - TPM, as strange as it may seem, is often much more difficult to communicate and find a common language with each other than with less intelligent people.

2) Pseudo-intellectuals … They were partly discussed in the same article. Pseudo-intellectuals consider themselves smart, but in reality, unlike TPM, they are not. They practically have no thoughts of their own, at best, what they are capable of generating is a compilation of ideas and theories of other authors already known to them. The positive difference between pseudo-intellectuals and the next group of normal emotionally minded people is, basically, only that they still recognize the importance of intelligence, reason, thinking and various ideas. They are usually ready to discuss other people's ideas, although they are not capable of constructive discussion, while normal emotionally-minded people are generally indifferent to various ideas. Unlike TPM, pseudo-intellectuals are not able to adequately and reasonably express their thoughts and perceive the arguments of their opponents. The basis of their position is not their own thoughts, but assimilated ready-made dogmas. In essence, their whole "mind" is knowledge of theories created by TPM, therefore, the pseudo-intellectual always refers to authority as the last argument.

3) Normal emotionally minded … Pseudo-intellectuals are people for whom the mind is part of the image. This is usually a consequence of the fact that they received a fairly good education and a wide range of knowledge in various fields, which, after graduating from a university, etc., were not completely forgotten by them. By extracting associations from this knowledge and finding suitable theses, it is able to insert them into discussions on various topics. Unlike pseudo-intellectuals, normal emotionally thinking all sorts of unnecessary, from their point of view, knowledge, do not seek to keep in memory, except, perhaps, knowledge directly related to their profession. They do not strive to seem smart, to participate in some kind of discussions on various topics, etc., from their point of view, when making decisions, simple everyday common sense is enough. The basis of the behavior of normal emotionally minded people is this very common sense, their emotional preferences and generally accepted evaluative labels. Normal emotionally minded people are content with this set, not trying to find any rational justification or arguments in favor of their position. The positive difference between normal emotionally minded people, in contrast to the next group of ordinary people, however, is that their priorities and life attitudes are quite stable. Normal emotionally minded people tend to defend their values and do not gravitate towards moral relativism. They will consistently condemn generally publicly condemned acts and phenomena and advocate that people adhere to certain principles of behavior and moral norms. In addition, normal emotionally minded people are usually not characterized by the hypertrophied conceit, which is characteristic of the miners, and the tendency to insert their assessment everywhere, to use any chance to show themselves. Usually they are good-natured enough and honestly admit to you that they do not understand some issue, if they really do not understand it.

4) Commoners … The common people have already been discussed in the article "About the common people". The main features of the townsfolk are their selfishness, fundamental disregard for reason, the priority of personal interests over any social needs and norms. In contrast to the latter group, who have degraded, for the inhabitants, however, their violation of social norms is of the nature "insofar as", that is, they are violated because the inhabitant achieves personal gain through such a violation. The layman does not adhere to the principled position “I don’t care about social norms” and usually justifies his behavior by the imperfection of the society around him, the existing order, which itself pushes him to act in this way. The layman does not have his own value position, he is always driven only by small personal interests and adapts to play that role, to put on the form that seems most beneficial to him. The layman considers it quite normal and justified for himself to behave, which consists in the desire to snatch everything that can, first of all, for himself personally, to derive personal benefit from any situation, without thinking about whether he will be right or wrong, whether he will act fairly or not. If you give the man in the street, he will, without the slightest bit of embarrassment, realize his most stupid and eccentric motives, which do not have the slightest logic and do not pursue any meaningful and useful goal, while loudly declaring their rights and blatantly accusing and insulting everyone around. The reaction of the townsfolk to any ideas is also characteristic - if normal emotionally-minded people simply do not show sufficient interest in them, giving assessments that are far from the essence from the standpoint of their everyday common sense, then the townsfolk, joyfully attacking the author, try to ridicule everything, raise their own self-esteem for at the expense of absurd criticism, and so on. Only having lazed the townsfolk and having driven them into a certain framework, one can count on the fact that they will bring at least some benefit to society.

5) Degraded … Degraded - this is the last and largest group in terms of unreasonableness. When you see juvenile criminals on TV who are tried for robbery and murder, and who smile and behave defiantly in court, these are typical representatives of this group. The degraded have no moral standards and do not even have the appearance of their observance. They are the final result of the degradation and decay of modern society, the crystallized expression of all its vices. Degraded people are not at all afraid of modern mechanisms of regulation and protection of public order, and they are not at all worried about condemnation from other members of society, degraded ones understand better than others all the weakness and imperfection of social mechanisms that could interfere with their destructive activities and are actively looking for new opportunities for that, to get around and break them. The degraded do not have any constructive life goals. Their goals are based on pure selfishness and are aimed at the implementation of primitive, chaotic, perverted impulses and impulses, the most absurd and stupid of which they put above any reasonable considerations and moral norms. On the contrary, any moral standards that the rest adhere to is, from their point of view, the weakness of these others, evidence of their inferiority, a lack of understanding of the true laws of life. In contrast to the dispersed inhabitants, degraded cannot be removed, their miserable remnants of their mind can only awaken under the influence of force, threats and uncompromising pressure.

Second group.

1) Traditional people … In different places of the Earth, among different peoples, since ancient times, various norms and traditions have arisen and formed that governed life within their communities. They also determined specific values, worldview, principles of life. In many ways, they were more harmonious, humane and wise than those that are characteristic of modern Western civilization. In t. N. In the "developed" countries, the traditional worldview and traditional way of life were almost completely destroyed in the collision with the modern industrial civilization. In Russia, the traditional worldview and way of life have also been largely destroyed, having undergone many blows throughout our history from Prince Vladimir, from Peter the Great, from the Bolsheviks, etc.etc., and the last, the most destructive - from the liberals. However, in many "developing" countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, the situation remains different. The European Western model there remains in many respects a superstructure over society, and only a certain elite follows the European values and worldview, while within the society itself, local, specific traditions and norms play a significant role. These traditional orders and values of theirs are like fresh young grass, ready to grow and grow wildly green as soon as last year's dying vegetation is removed from above. The main feature of the traditional worldview is that, although it does not make its carriers intelligent, it gives them a certain self-sufficiency, the possibility of their own reference point when looking at life and events in the world, greater adequacy and integrity of ideas at the level of simple common sense. The traditional worldview is largely free from the burden of false stereotypes and misconceptions accumulated by Western civilization, so it will turn out to be much more viable in new conditions and suitable for instilling new ideas on it.

2) Fanatics … Fanatics is a conventional name for a group of people who organically do not digest Western civilization, are confident in its decline, and work to destroy it, while the main distinguishing feature of their worldview is their adherence to a certain new ideology designed to replace the Western European model. Typical representatives of this group are members of radical Islamic organizations. A worldview based on Islamic or similar ideology, of course, is not a substitute for the worldview of modern Western civilization, but presents it with a kind of counterbalance, a certain basis and goal, in contrast to the empty one that offers nothing but senseless consumption and degradation of modern Western culture.

3) Migrants … Modern Western civilization continues to decay and follow its predetermined path into the abyss. Formation of a model and structure of society, in which auxiliary places that do not require high qualifications are, in fact, places for people serving wealthier, indigenous inhabitants of the so-called. "developed" countries, occupied by migrants, is one of the clearest signs of this process. Most modern migrants do not perceive Western culture, worldview and principles of life, they remain committed to traditions that are more familiar to them. But at the same time, migrants are already claiming and in many ways acquiring the rights and status of indigenous people. In the future, they can completely take control of the Western countries.

4) Barbarians … Barbarians are the conventional name for the inhabitants of the zones in which the central government has collapsed or is actually inactive and any established laws and civilized norms are not observed, but some small local military leaders actually rule (something like "field commanders", etc.).) As an example, we can cite Afghanistan of the recent, and, incidentally, the modern period, Somalia or even Chechnya during the 90s. Now such zones are just beginning to appear, but in the future, as Western civilization collapses, which still mainly retains its global influence, their number will expand significantly, and the role and influence of barbarians may significantly increase.

II. Perspective

There is no doubt, and this has already been said in the 4-level concept of the development of civilization, and in the article "Scenario of the near future of civilization", that modern civilization is following a straight road into the new Middle Ages. I also wrote about the reasons for such a campaign a lot and repeatedly. The modern model of the structure of society has already exhausted its resource, the modern system of values and the emotional worldview that has dominated the world for almost 2 thousand years can no longer support the stable existence and progressive development of society, the old mechanisms of self-regulation no longer work. Within the framework of an emotional worldview, an approach characteristic of emotionally minded, it is impossible to find solutions to the ever-aggravating problems of modern society, it is impossible to stop the ever-gathering process of its degradation. To cope with these phenomena and reorganize society, avoiding a long decline of civilization and culture and immersion in chaos is possible only on the basis of a reasonable approach and worldview. Unfortunately, this fact remains for representatives of modern civilization, despite the fact that the situation is constantly aggravating, beyond their ability to understand. This also applies to the TPM group, which, after the collapse of Western civilization, will, like the "last Roman" Boethius, rhetorically ask "How did it happen that I, such an intelligent and educated person, would be executed tomorrow by a stupid misunderstanding by ignorant barbarians?" On the contrary, many of them are still under the influence of false illusions that arose in the late 19th - early 20th centuries, that human progress is accelerating, that it will gain momentum more and more, that technology is about to bring humanity. " golden age "and other garbage.

Western civilization, and along with it Russia, in which the Western model is installed, is rapidly degrading. It makes no sense to cite numerous examples of unhealthy and simply shocking phenomena in society, which practically did not exist in it some 20-30 years ago. The moral and intellectual level of the population is rapidly falling, which is increasingly moving from the 3rd group to the 4th, and from the 4th to the 5th. False Western models and values, Western culture persistently corrodes and destroys our society from the inside. The continuation of the existing trend will inevitably lead to the destruction of our country and our people, which will remain only in history, like the ancient Greeks, Romans, Celts, etc. Continuation of existence within the framework of a dead-end emotional worldview and unwillingness to awaken our own mind cannot end in anything good.

III. Solution

The solution, which alone can prevent the destruction of our country and its fall into the new Middle Ages, can only be the reorganization of society on the principles of a reasonable worldview and a new system of values. In order to carry out such a reorganization, it is necessary, first of all, to unite the most adequate and reasonable people, to create an organization, party, movement and to develop and implement a plan for the introduction of a reasonable worldview and the transition to a reasonable society. You need to start this immediately. If you do not want by your inaction to hand over the country and civilization into the hands of the barbarians, to allow its decline, degradation and disintegration and plunge into the new Middle Ages, I suggest you take part in the implementation of such a plan and, together with me, take part in the propaganda and dissemination of the idea of the transition to a reasonable society, looking for like-minded people and creating an organization, discussing issues related to the introduction of a reasonable worldview and building a reasonable society and developing a program and action plan. There is no one to hope for, the fate of civilization depends on your choice!
