If developed civilizations, Hyperborea, Atlantis and others existed before us, they could not disappear completely without a trace. But how to distinguish the ruins of buildings of many thousands of years ago from a placer of rocks of natural origin, or ancient artificial artifacts from natural minerals?
While doubts remain, skeptics will interpret each controversial discovery as a find of natural origin; are they right or paleoufologists?
To understand an important dispute, is it necessary to conduct an important natural experiment, to find out, or at least to present theoretically, what in reality would have remained after thousands and millions of years from our civilization?
How quickly buildings disappear, how any technique rusts and ultimately dissolves in the soil, which of the artificial products is the most durable, which can survive a million-year oblivion and serve as a reliable "indicator" for archaeologists of the future.
Only after solving the engineering and archaeological problems "What remains after developed civilizations" and "What should be paid attention first of all when searching for traces of Hyperborea", we can probably try to revise the existing finds.
