Overview program "Ecotechnology 2016" Festival

From 1 to 7 August 2016, the 5th FESTIVAL OF ECOTECHNOLOGIES was held on the vast fields of Etomir, which is located in the Borovsky district of the Kaluga region near the village of Petrovo.

At the event, many important areas related to ecology were presented. From early morning until sunset, experienced practitioners performed under the festival tents, sharing their knowledge, transferring personal experience and discussing pressing problems.

The People's Slavic Radio team arrived at the festival on 6 August

First thing we went to the construction site, where Aleksey Shirshov held a master class on plastering eco-buildings with natural insulation.

I was very pleased with Alexei's open manner of communication with the audience. He not only told, but also showed how and what to do, what techniques to use, in what proportions to prepare mixtures, answered in detail the clarifying questions. Unfortunately, Alexei did not have time to record a detailed conversation. But, nearby was Yuri Lvov, the builder of the very house on which the plastering techniques were shown. Of course, we did not miss the opportunity to talk about the technology he presented for the construction of eco-friendly housing.

Not far from the construction site, our attention was drawn to an interesting structure consisting of a tilted barrel under a gable roof, mounted on high wooden supports. Oh, this was exactly the case when the desired was connected with the real, since I had the idea to make a program about such devices. After all, this not just a barrel, but a dwelling for bees called a deck, an ecological alternative to beehives. The owner of the deck turned out to be a very friendly person Andrey Kozharsky, who shared with us his thoughts on "Contactless beekeeping".

We thanked Andrey for the interesting story and went to the festival camp. We hear, and in the main tent they are again talking about bees, and not just about bees, but about those that live in China and make the wrong honey. (Well, just like Winnie the Pooh.) We decided to look into the tent and listen. And there, none other than Dmitry Vatolin from the Kovcheg ecovillage speaking. We waited until he finished his speech, and we invited him to talk face to face …

After a conversation with Dmitry, we went on to explore the festival sights.

In some tents, people are sitting, but they are listening to someone, in others they are vigorously discussing something, and someone, having heard enough, looks after useful goods, or goes to the field kitchen to refresh themselves. The day is falling, but the festival does not stop.

Now the artists are beginning to perform, singing songs.

We look, near them a familiar person, walks, gives some instructions, tells something to someone. And that's what we need. Same Roman Sablin, curator of the EcoTechnology 2016 festival.

And since you met a good person, why not talk? So they started a conversation, just not far from the wondrous singers and singers.

We talked with Roman, and the fun never stops, and the artists are all, each one brighter than the other, after all, this is “Solar Bards”. So they sang until dark, danced with games …

What are my impressions of this festival? …

Yes, the very best

1 - Most of the seminars, master classes and speeches were properly prepared and expertly conveyed to the audience.

2 - The speakers told and showed what any modern person should know now who wants to live by conscience, in harmony with nature.

3 - A light, kind, joyful, friendly atmosphere reigned at the festival. All people are sober and friendly. There are many for whom the Legacy of ancestors and the Motherland are not empty words …

Beauty, and only … If it were not business, then I would not leave.

In general, if next summer you find out that the Ecotechnology festival will be held next to you, come and find something to do. It will not be boring, but knowledge, for the good of the cause, and good friends will be added
