Video: Did Yuri Baurov's engine work against the laws of physics?

In 2013, a number of Russian media published materials dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics, in which they talked about the developments of Yuri Baurov, a member of the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics, head of the laboratory of promising energy systems at TsNIIMash. So what could arouse interest in Baurov on such a day?
One entertaining experience carried out within the walls of TsNIIMash in Korolev back in 2003. The essence of the experiment is simple - demonstration of a new type of engine (with possible use in outer space). On a laboratory table, on a precision balance, a mechanism created by Yuri Baurov was installed and fixed.
In the presence of laboratory staff, scientists and journalists, Baurov himself turned on the switch, supplying an electric current, the engine began to work, the rotation frequency increased … five thousand revolutions and, as if by magic, the balance arrow shifted slightly, indicating a decrease in the device's weight. Not much, only 0.025% of the mass of a hundred-kilogram engine, about twenty-five grams.
Ridiculous numbers? Not at all, if we draw a comparison, Baurov said in an interview. The thrust that appears is thirty times greater than that of the best space electric propulsion systems for adjusting the orbits of spacecraft. Moreover, the engine did not require fuel. That is, none at all. Only the initial impulse required for unwinding, after which it worked without supplying energy from the outside. This sounds fantastic. Really, again "perpetual" motion machine?
No, the inventor didn't think so. Baurov is a candidate of technical sciences, an employee of one of the world's leading space institutes. Author of a number of patents, not only Russian, but also foreign. Publications about the engine have gone around the world's leading scientific journals, experiments have been re-shown in different cities, countries and institutes. And the leadership of TsNIIMash, albeit cautiously, gave the go-ahead for the demonstration of Baurov's developments to the media. So, unlike the fictional "eternal" ones, this device really worked.
They simply cannot explain the operation of the Baurov engine in terms of official physics. In addition to the "main" demonstrated effect (development of thrust), the Baurov engine made it possible to increase the efficiency of power plants in which it was used. In 2013, Yuri Alekseevich lived in Italy, where he was "lured" to work on highly efficient installations … though not for space, but for greenhouses. Baurov has always been focused on the practical application of his inventions. Not allowed into space - it will work on Earth.
Yuri Alekseevich Baurov, with all his focus on the result, is the author of his own theoretical model of physical space, with the help of which, in particular, he tries to explain the emergence of the "incomprehensible" official physics of the energy that feeds the engine. After all, the "hidden" mass and energy of the Universe has not yet been fully explained by any of the models proposed by modern physics.
Another "mad scientist", someone will say. But the engine was running! Unfortunately, there is no data on why the work on this device was actually curtailed. And what is happening today in the life and scientific research of Yuri Alekseevich Baurov, it was also not possible to find out.

In a major international test, the physics-defying EmDrive failed to produce the thrust that its supporters expected. In fact, in one test at the University of Dresden in Germany, it produced no thrust at all. Is this the end of all ambitions and aspirations?
