This was a quote from a Russophobic article. If we look at least in Wikipedia, then the figure is 7 times lower. When the history of bloody Russia was cooked up in the 19th century, there was no Wikipedia and any rubbish could roll. So, most likely, the death toll can be safely divided by 7.

So, 100,000 is a magic number. "For Russians only". Whatever they build, even under the liberal tsars, even under the communist dictators, they still have 100,000 dying.
