Every summer, since 1995, the film crew of the Volga TV company from Nizhny Novgorod worked in the South Urals - on the excavations of one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the outgoing century - the ancient Aryan city of Arkaim.

When we went with the film crew for the first time to Arkaim, we still did not suspect that fate would be pleased to bring us closer to one of the greatest secrets of the Earth. This journey will force us to rethink and revise the ancient history of Russia and the past of many peoples, to be surprised at the unusualness of this history. What we saw and learned literally turned our worldview upside down and changed our whole life.

"The Great Secret of Arkaim" is the name of the filmed two-part documentary. We will touch this Mystery in our story.

It has been and will last for centuries

Beginning in 1952, unique aerial photography data were obtained, and later satellites transmitted to the Earth photographs of several unusual circles clearly visible on the surface of the steppe. No one doubted the artificial origin of these circles. Then no one could say exactly what it is. The circles were still a mystery.

By that time, in scientific and occult circles, a dispute was flaring up with might and main about where to look for the homeland of the Indo-Europeans, where is the source from which many peoples of Eurasia originated. After all, it has long been clear that many European peoples, as well as the peoples of India, Persia and most of Asia, once had a single source - a mysterious people - "Proto-Indo-Europeans". Ancient sources, legends, legends were studied, expeditions to the Urals, Tibet, Altai, etc. were equipped. Many dreamed of finding the remains of the country where the legendary white Aryan race lived. The souls and minds of people strove for a true, deep awareness of their origins. To that partially lost ancient secret knowledge, which was possessed by the ancient Aryans.

As always, all great things come unexpectedly, and, as a rule, from where you don't expect. In 1987, the Arkaim valley in the southern Urals was to be flooded in order to create a reservoir for irrigation of the arid steppe. Here, in the very heart of the valley, there were those same mysterious circles.

Archaeologists were given a year to scout the area for fossil values. Soon after the archaeologist's scapula uncovered several details of the incomprehensible circles, it became clear that this was a real sensation! Immediately, the struggle for the salvation of Arkaim began - this was the name of the remains of the majestic city, which turned out to be these mysterious circles. And - neither more nor less - these were the remains of the city where the legendary Aryan race once lived. It turned out that the age of Arkaim is almost 40 centuries …

The entire community rose to save Arkaim. Head of the Ural archaeological expedition, candidate of historical sciences, head of the department of history and ethnography of the Chelyabinsk state. University, Gennady Borisovich Zdanovich goes to Moscow. Risking his career and his academic name, he seeks to stop the construction of the almost completed dam on the Bolshaya Karaganka River. As Gennady Borisovich himself says - an almost unreal thing happened - the multimillion-dollar construction stopped for the sake of an archaeological find! It was a real twist of fate. So it was necessary.

Let's take a closer look at the ancient city of ARKAIM.

The architecture of Arkaim is no less complex than the architecture of Crete. Arkaim is the 18th century BC, there are dates of the 20th century BC. But we are now more careful - the 18-17th centuries BC. These are the contemporaries The Cretan-Mycenaean civilization is the middle kingdom of Egypt, in general, it is a very distant antiquity.

And, of course, these are Indo-Europeans, one of the oldest Indo-European civilizations. Probably, more specifically, it is one of the links of the Indo-Iranians. And of course, this is that environment, that moment, which is spoken of as the Aryan culture. These are the Aryans, with their roots, with their culture. And this is undoubtedly the world of the Avesta, the world of the Vedas, that is, this is the world of the most ancient layers of Indian and Iranian sources. Moreover, these are very deep layers, the most ancient roots, i.e. this is the beginning, this is the origin of European philosophy and culture."

Arkaim was not only a city, but also a temple and an astronomical observatory! It had the shape of a circle with an outer diameter of about 160 meters. It was surrounded by a 2-meter bypass ditch filled with water. The outer wall is very massive. With a height of 5.5 m, it had a five-meter width. Four entrances were marked in the wall. The largest is southwest, the other three are smaller, located on opposite sides.

Entering the city, we find ourselves on the only ring street, about 5 meters wide, separating the dwellings adjoining the outer wall from the inner ring of the walls.

The street had a log flooring, under which, along its entire length, a 2-meter ditch was dug, communicating with an external bypass ditch. Thus, the city had a storm sewer - excess water, seeping through the log pavement, fell into the ditch and then into the outer bypass ditch.

All the dwellings adjoining the outer wall, like lemon slices, had exits to the main street. A total of 35 dwellings in the outer circle were found.

Next, we see the mysterious ring of the inner wall. It was even more massive than the outside. With a width of 3 meters, it reached 7 meters in height.

This wall, according to excavations, has no passage, except for a short break in the southeast. Thus, the 25 inner dwellings, identical to the dwellings of the outer circle, become practically isolated from all by a high and thick wall. To get to the small entrance to the inner ring, one had to walk the entire length of the ring street. This pursued not only a defensive goal, but also had a hidden meaning. The one entering the city had to walk the path that the Sun follows. Apparently, in the well-protected inner circle there were those who possessed something that should not be shown even to their own, living in the outer circle, not to mention external observers.

And, finally, Arkaim is crowned with a central square of almost square shape, about 25 by 27 meters.

Judging by the remains of the fires, arranged in a certain order, this was the area for the performance of certain sacraments.

Thus, schematically we see the Mandala - a square inscribed in a circle. In ancient cosmogonic texts, the circle symbolizes the Universe, the square - the Earth, our material world. The ancient wise man, who perfectly knows the structure of the cosmos, saw how harmoniously and naturally it is arranged. And therefore, during the construction of the city, he seemed to re-create the universe in miniature.

The engineering genius of the ancient builders is also fascinating. Arkaim was built according to a pre-designed plan as a single complex complex, moreover, oriented towards astronomical objects with the greatest accuracy!

The drawing, formed by the four entrances in the outer wall of Arkaim, is a swastika. Moreover, the swastika is "correct", i.e. directed towards the sun.

Interesting facts: The Swastika (sanaskr - "associated with good", "best luck") is one of the most archaic sacred symbols, found already in the Upper Paleolithic among many peoples of the world. India, ancient Russia, China, Egypt and even the state of the mysterious Maya in central America - this is the incomplete geography of this symbol. The swastika can be seen on old Orthodox icons. The swastika is a symbol of the sun, good luck, happiness, creation (the "correct" swastika). And, accordingly, the swastika of the opposite direction symbolizes darkness, destruction, the "night sun" among the ancient Russians. As can be seen from the ancient ornaments, in particular on the Aryan jugs found in the vicinity of Arkaim, both swastikas were used. This makes a lot of sense. Day replaces night, light replaces darkness, new birth replaces death - and this is the natural order of things in the Universe. Therefore, in ancient times there were no "bad" and "good" swastikas - they were perceived in unity (like "Yin" and "Yang", for example).

By the way, the fascists have adopted the "reverse" swastika, a symbol of destruction, for their erroneous ideology.

Each new stage of excavation presented another sensation.

There was no limit to the surprise of archaeologists. These are labyrinths - traps at the entrances to Arkaim, this is a set of passages inside the outer wall. On the rooftops of the houses was the upper street, along which you could ride in chariots!

Let's not forget that Arkaim was built entirely of wood and bricks, pressed from straw, soil and manure. The huge five-meter walls consisted of wooden log cabins filled with ground bricks. Moreover, during the excavations, it was clear that the bricks with which the outer walls were faced had a different color. Arkaim was beautiful on the outside - a perfectly round city with prominent gate towers, burning lights and a beautifully designed "facade". Surely it was some kind of sacred pattern that carries the Meaning. For everything in Arkaim is imbued with Meaning.

Each dwelling was adjoined by one end to the outer or inner wall, and faced the main circular street or the central square. The makeshift hallway had a special drain for water that went into a ditch under the main street. The ancient Aryans were provided with a sewer system! Moreover, each dwelling had a well, a stove and a small domed storage. Two earthen pipes branched off from the well above the water level. One led to the oven, the other to the domed vault. What for? All ingenious is simple. We all know that from a well, if you look into it, it always "draws" cool air. So in the Aryan stove, this cool air, passing through an earthen pipe, created a thrust of such force that it made it possible to melt bronze without the use of bellows! Such a furnace was in every home, and the ancient blacksmiths could only hone their skills, competing in their art! Another earthen pipe leading to the storage kept it at a lower temperature than the surrounding air. A kind of refrigerator! Milk, for example, was stored here longer.

The research results of the famous Russian astroarchaeologist KK Bystrushkin, who in 1990-91 conducted research on Arkaim as an astronomical observatory, are very curious. As Konstantin Konstantinovich Arkaim himself describes, the structure is not just complex, but even sophisticatedly complex. Studying the plan immediately revealed its resemblance to the famous Stonehenge monument in England. For example, the diameter of the inner circle of Arkaim is indicated everywhere equal to 85 meters, in fact, this is a ring with two radii - 40 and 43, 2 meters. (Try to draw!) Meanwhile, the radius of the "Aubrey holes" ring at Stonehenge is 43.2 meters! Both Stonehenge and Arkaim are located at the same latitude, both in the center of a bowl-shaped valley. And there are almost 4,000 kilometers between them …

The astronomical method applied by K. K. Bystrushkin made Arkaim old for another 1000 years - this is approximately the 28th century BC !!!

Summarizing all the facts obtained, we can say: Arkaim is a near-horizon observatory. Why subhorizontal? Because in the measurements and observations, the moments of rising and setting of the luminaries (the Sun and the Moon) behind the horizon were used. Moreover, the moment of "separation" (or touching) of the lower edge of the disk was detected, which makes it possible to most accurately detect the place of this event. If we observe the sunrises, then we will notice that the sunrise point will shift from the previous place every day. Reaching maximum north on June 22, this point will then move south, reaching another extreme mark on December 22. This is the cosmic order. The number of clearly visible points of observation of the Sun is four. Two are the rising points on June 22 and December 22, and two of the same approach points are on the other side of the horizon. Add two points - the equinox points on March 22 and September 22. This gave a fairly accurate definition of the length of the year. However, there are many other significant events throughout the year. And they can be marked with the help of another star - the Moon. Despite the difficulties in observing it, the ancient people still knew the laws of its movement in the firmament. Here are some: 1) Full moons close to June 22 are observed at the winter solstice (Dec 22) and vice versa. 2) The events of the Moon migrate at the solstice points with a cycle of 19 years ("high" and "low" Moon). Arkaim, as an observatory, made it possible to track the Moon as well. In total, 18 astronomical events could be recorded on these huge walls-circles! Six - associated with the Sun, and twelve - associated with the Moon (including "high" and "low" Moon). For comparison, researchers at Stonehenge were able to isolate only 15 celestial events.

In addition to these amazing facts, the following data were obtained: the Arkaim measure of length - 80 cm, the center of the inner circle is shifted relative to the center of the outer by 5, 25 of the Arkaim measure, which is close to the inclination angle of the lunar orbit - 5 degrees 9 plus or minus 10 minutes. According to K. K. Bystrushkin, this reflects the relationship between the orbits of the Moon and the Sun (for a terrestrial observer). Accordingly, the outer circle of Arkaim is dedicated to the Moon, and the inner circle is dedicated to the Sun. Moreover, astroarchaeological measurements have shown the connection of some parameters of Arkaim with the precession of the earth's axis, and this is already aerobatics even in modern astronomy! However, we will not go deeper further. More details can be found in the works of the astroarchaeologist Konstantin Konstantinovich Bystrushkin. And we will turn our gaze to antiquity …

"Avesta" and "Rigveda" testify

Says Professor of the Department of Iranian Philology, Dean of the Oriental Faculty of St. Petersburg University, translator of the Avesta into Russian Ivan Mikhailovich Steblin-Kamensky: “… the king - the shepherd of the Golden Age, builds the first city, which Ahura-Mazda ordered him to build to protect livestock, goods, people from natural disasters, which were heavy snowfalls and subsequent floods. Yima, at the behest of Ahura Mazda, builds this city out of earth, which he "tramples with his heels and crumples with his hands," as it is said in the Avesta, as people crumple wet earth. That is, we are talking about earthen architecture, of course, with wooden elements."

By the way, earth bricks served for about 200-300 years, that is how long Arkaim existed. An enviable time, even by modern standards! Perhaps a thing or structure that carries a hidden higher meaning does not deteriorate and does not break with time, but becomes, as it were, "saturated" with the energy of this meaning. Therefore, it serves for a long time.

Let us recall the unique "food processor" of the ancient Aryans - a stove, a well and a storehouse. During excavations, at the bottom of the wells, hooves, shoulder blades and lower jaws of horses and cows were found that had been on fire. Moreover, the bones of animals were deliberately placed in the well and carefully attached in a circle with hammered birch pegs. This discovery made a very strong impression on archaeologists, because it is nothing more than a visual illustration, as they say, in the form of a "natural model" of the oldest Indo-European myth about the birth of the God of Fire. This myth testified that AGNI - the God of Fire was born from water, water dark and mysterious. At the bottom of the well, in the icy water, the inhabitants of Arkaim placed parts of sacrificial animals thoroughly fried over a fire. This is an offering to the God of Water. Thanks to water and a well, a thrust arises in the furnace, which will not only fan the fire, but give birth to God Agni, who will melt the metal !!!

The kitchen complex of the ancient Aryans - ingenious simplicity

Who were these mysterious people who inhabited Arkaim in those distant times? Let's trace their path from "end" to "source".

Ancient India. At the turn of the 3rd and 2nd millennium BC. here from the north, on the territory inhabited by the black race, the Aryan people come. The white race of tall, fair-skinned people brings with them the Rig Veda - the most ancient of the Vedas. Aryans immediately occupy the highest position in society - the brahmana caste, thanks to the possession of unique knowledge and technologies. Let us recall the pictures of Krishna and Rama. Krishna is black, Rama is light-skinned. Or, for example, God Rudra is the only Hindu deity depicted with light brown hair. All this is the memory of the arrival of the Aryans.

Ancient Persia. Zoroastrianism flourishes here at about the same time. The beautiful, life-affirming teaching of the prophet Zarathushtra, brought by the same Aryan race.

The ancient Avesta, like the ancient Indian Vedic sources, place the homeland of the ancient Aryans somewhere in the north, in the country of Arianam-Vaija (Aryan space). Moreover, in the description of this country, we see all the signs of its northern location - beavers living in rivers, trees characteristic of the north or middle zone. In one of the parts of the Avesta - Wendidad it is said that the Gods have one day, and one night is a year, which is a description of the polar night. And in the Indian treatise "Laws of Manu" it is said that the Sun separates day and night - human and divine. The Gods have day and night - a (human) year, divided in two. Night is the period of the movement of the Sun to the north, night is the period of the movement of the Sun to the south. The famous Indian scholar, expert in Sanskrit, Lokamanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, while researching ancient Vedic sources, also draws attention to the fact that in a number of ancient Indian hymns the dawn period is sung, which happens twice a year and lasts 30 days. Descriptions of a polar country in tropical India look very strange and mysterious!

So, the Southern Urals, the Aryan expanse, Arkaim. Places where the Aryan race stopped on their glorious journey from the mysterious polar country. As the excavations show, the Aryans lived in these places for 200-300 years. In addition to Arkaim, here, in the Southern Urals, the remains of several more similar cities were later discovered. "Country of Cities" - this is how archaeologists called this area. About 20 objects of round, oval and rectangular shape formed a whole state - about 150 km. from west to east and 350 km. from north to south along the eastern slope of the southern Urals. That very ancient Aryan expanse, "Arianam-vaija", "Ariavarta". And, perhaps, this place is the very Arrata, where the ancestors of the legendary Sumerians came from !?

The origins of ancient Russia

1919, civil war. In one of the destroyed estates, an officer of the tsarist army Isenbek picks up from the floor several old, darkened wooden tablets, mottled with incomprehensible letters. Only a few years later it becomes clear that this is the greatest find, revealing to us hitherto unknown facts from the history of ancient Russia. It was Velesova Kniga. It was written by the Novgorod Magi in the 9th century AD, but it describes events of a very long time ago - at the turn of the 3rd and 2nd millennia BC!

"… We came from the edge of the green. And before that there were our fathers on the shores of the sea near the Ra - the river. So the glorious clan went to the lands where the Sun sleeps in the night … We are Aryans ourselves, and we came from the Aryan land …" book. "Ra" is the ancient name of the Volga River. From the green land, located somewhere to the east of the Volga, the ancestors of the ancient Russians went west, following the Sun. They also went to the territory of Eastern Europe, giving rise to many great peoples, which we now call "Indo-Europeans".

Now it is already becoming clear why the Indian and Russian folk motives are so similar, why the ancient Sanskrit and Russian languages are so similar. Moreover, they are similar not only in some words, as many languages of the world. Surprisingly, our two languages have similar word structures, style and syntax. Truly, you freeze in amazement when you suddenly find in the "Veles book" the phrase: "Hallowed be the name of Indra! He is the God of our swords. God who knows the Vedas …" - after all, the same Indra, we know, is the main deity of the ancient Rig Veda! The cultures of India and Russia are connected even more closely!

Everyone knows what unique knowledge the Old Russian Magi possessed, how they carefully kept and passed it on from mouth to mouth, how their ancient ancestors retelled "AVESTA", how the Vedas were retold - "Rigveda", "Samaveda", "Yajurveda", "Atharvaveda" and the fifth Veda, Panchamaveda, or Tantra.

All this took place in those glorious times when the Gods still lived among people, or the memory of this time was still very fresh. Southern Urals, Russia, Persia, India - this is the arena of all glorious achievements of antiquity.

We were told about this, truly, the majestic remains of the ancient city of Arkaim.

Ahead is the third millennium, which will open to us the ancient Hyperborea, Atlantis and Lemuria, which will bring us closer to understanding many of the mysteries of antiquity, which means it will bring us closer to understanding ourselves. For it is said: "Man, know yourself, and you will know the World and the Gods."
