For those who have spent their whole life in the urban jungle and have never seen nature, except through the drunken smoke of the grill of Sunday barbecue once every six months, one hectare of Far Eastern land promised by the authorities may seem like a great gift and a wonderful acquisition. And mind you - Stolypin managed to resettle 4,000,000 peasants. Putin's officials have 70,000 so far. And then only paper "applications" … You can even figure out "by eye" whose greed was greater - Stolypin's or Putin's officials.

Even if the ruling regime decided to populate the Far East with someone, it was the Chinese. All conditions have been created for them. And the Chinese are very successful in mastering this East. Unlike their own citizens of Russia. It is no longer necessary to be surprised.
