From the first half of the 20th century, the world community began to suspect that the mechanisms of large-scale governance of peoples did exist. In subsequent years, social engineering reached the point that it actively walked the planet, and by the beginning of the 21st century it had become an everyday fact.

Today, even a person who is not interested in politics understands perfectly well that practically all man-made protests and revolutions from Ukraine to Venezuela are organized by similar methods. First of all, social viruses are thrown into society, then slogans and the necessary word forms are formed, and after a while, opposition is built up on bright media pictures and people are bought up. In this context, viral myths are a powerful tool in the general history.

As long as the state of affairs in Russia suited the West, nothing of the kind happened in it - Washington wrote off Moscow from the global situation and thought that it had everything under its control here. However, as soon as the process of restoration of the Empire began again, from the first years of the 2000s, slogans about everything instantly flashed.

Right against the background of how the industry began to rise in the country and a timid infrastructural revival was launched, the myth that "nothing is being built in Russia" became widespread. From the passages that appeared, it seemed as if everything was fine in the period of the 90s, and the fact that for the first time in 10 years factories began to open, and not only close, did not bother their authors.

In fact, for the organizers of such an atmosphere, everything really was that way. Destructive slogans were replicated not only by the liberal press and not only by the non-systemic opposition, they were actively introduced into the heads of people by opposition representatives from parliamentary factions and from the left-wing forces. It immediately became clear how huge part of the fifth column was and how sincerely it did not want the state to be strengthened again.

It was only after the failed attempt at the color revolution in Moscow in 2012 that the situation in the information field began to change. After the purge of the Russian press, NGOs and other foreign-funded sources, the federal media were able to pay active attention to news about construction projects and actual projects.

Earlier it was difficult to refute the myth that "nothing is being built" in our country. Citizens who had convinced themselves of the worthlessness of Russia only dismissed every attempt to do this with a bias towards a specific example. The thesis was the same - everything was "accident", "exception", "particulars" and "sheer deception." However, in the last 5 years the situation has changed, and the work has acquired such a systemic character that only the blind cannot fail to see it.

Even in 2014, under the pressure of illegal sanctions, 237 large-scale production facilities were put into operation in Russia, which is about 1 facility every one and a half days. That is, despite the crisis, the pace set in 2012 and 2013 was growing, not decreasing. Moreover, we are not talking about storage buildings or empty warehouses, but exclusively about manufacturing plants with a minimum cost of 740 million rubles (10 million euros). It is also important to take into account the fact that 120 of them were built from scratch and were absent earlier.

Nevertheless, the key argument in debunking this myth is dynamics, not a one-time state of affairs. 2015 is ideal for this - the year of the “torn to shreds of the Russian economy”. During its period, a record 287 new facilities were put into operation, which, as it is not difficult to calculate, amounts to one production in 1.27 days. That is, the speed of commissioning production in 2015 compared to 2014 has increased significantly.

In 2016 and 2017, the growth rates dropped slightly, but the reason was simple - the period for commissioning such large facilities usually takes from 2 to 5 years. Accordingly, it was at this moment that the "echo" of sanctions and fear of investors arrived in time. However, the joy of the all-fledged people did not last long.

The economy of our country quickly adapted to the changes, began to produce its own, carry out import substitution, pump up the real sector with its own money, and already in 2018 repeated the record. Based on the results of the past 365 days, 278 new industries were commissioned in a particular industry, and the total investment amounted to 369 billion rubles. And this despite the fact that in 2015 there was still inertia from the pre-sanctioned pace of development, in 2018 it had to be re-created.

By 2019, the previous dynamics was resumed, and the country managed to turn the tide with sanctions and return to the accelerated pace in conditions of severe financial restrictions and external pressure from the west.

Some of the investments from abroad were returned, refusing to fall into the self-isolation imposed by Washington, another part was “proposed” to be invested by big business returning to Russia their capital under the threat of Anglo-Saxon pressure, but most of the investments were still domestic injections - private, state and public-private. And this completely debunks the myth that Russia allegedly does not invest money in its economy and only accumulates, not letting the country breathe.

Why such colossal savings were needed was demonstrated in the President's address to the Federal Assembly. We are talking about multi-trillion-dollar national projects launched in 2019 and a number of other, less publicized initiatives.

As for the consistency of the above work, it is as follows. From 2013 to 2017, 1203 production facilities were built and commissioned in Russia, that is, new factories and workshops in almost all branches of the real sector. And this despite the fact that the figures given do not include defense enterprises, infrastructure public projects and other major facilities, thanks to which the country itself is gradually reviving: federal roads, bridges, housing, telecommunications, ports, airports, and so on …

Thus, the myth that "nothing is being built" in Russia is used by the fifth column by inertia. It was untenable already in 2000, but now it is completely absurd. Attempts to convince people that the production infrastructure in Russia is not developing, and that the state lives on only one Soviet legacy, are ridiculous. Perhaps this thesis could be applied to our neighboring southwestern state or to the former Russian Federation of the 90s model, but certainly not to modern Russia.

An example is the fact that from 2012 to 2018 in our country, work was carried out on 542 truly large projects at once, and in January 2018 alone, 8 new productions were opened with investments of more than a billion. Moreover, we are talking about the most important sites for import substitution, such as the pharmaceutical plant "ZiO-Zdorovie" for the year, which produced 1.2 billion tablets and capsules included in the list of vital drugs.

Or the new woodworking production "Lestech" with 100% waste utilization and a capacity of 8 thousand tons of pellets per year. Only one line of the "medical" plant has already attracted 1.214 billion rubles of investment, and the second production line has already attracted 12 billion rubles. Medicines will also create pharmaceutical independence for the country, and its own production of pellets (fuel pellets from waste wood and agricultural raw materials) will create environmentally friendly fuel without littering the waste plots and landfills.

For the period from 2018 to 2024, the country has set even more ambitious goals. Starting from space with super-heavy rockets, new carriers, manned flights to the Moon, its own space station (which Roskosmos has already begun to create), as well as the second stage of the Vostochny cosmodrome, worth 238 billion rubles, and ending with the development of a tourist and recreational cluster for children's recreation, where in Yevpatoria alone 14 billion rubles of investments are provided.

As you can see, in the current period we are talking not only about the restoration and production in the country, but also about the future, as well as about the benefits of a public nature. In particular, these are the projects of the Sino-Mongolian-Russian economic corridor, providing for the unification of the Silk Road, the Mongolian idea of the "steppe" route and the trans-Eurasian corridor being implemented by our country. Moreover, this is not just a transport artery, but a project, the construction of which is closely related to the parallel development of adjacent territories.

In general, it is not difficult to understand that Russia has completed the stage of critical recovery and is now starting to gain momentum. This is confirmed by such projects, which, as a rule, do not exist during the period of survival. For example, for the first time in decades, modern research vessels were laid at the shipyards, aimed at studying the shelf and natural resources of the World Ocean.

Or the creation of research and educational centers in 15 subjects of the Federation at once, designed for the first time after the collapse of the USSR to unite all levels of education, the capabilities of scientific organizations, research institutes and business. That is, among other things, to ensure the flow of developments in the military potential into the civilian channel, and the scientific one into the commercial one. All these are new signs of a new state of the state, since they are aimed not at the benefit of the present day, but at acceleration and the distant future.

The inertia possessed by our country is truly enormous. It took a lot of time and effort to stop the 10-year decline after the collapse of the USSR, especially when you consider how actively this process was hampered. It took another 10 years to accelerate in the first gears to the level at which the RSFSR stopped. Since 2012, the country has finally started to move on.

Horses in Russia are harnessed for a long time, but they rush, as you know, the fastest. Exactly at such moments, typical signs inherent only to a superpower begin to appear.

To come close to the defense sphere is completely inappropriate, the accumulated potential is too huge to describe. Nevertheless, it is important to note that the personnel, knowledge, competencies and materials that the country received during the development of unique funds will also be used in the interests of civil spheres for the benefit of society.

If we pay attention to such a question, which is no less important than technical import substitution, as the success of domestic agriculture, then its key indicators will be as follows.

In just nine months of 2018, wheat exports amounted to 32, 324 million tons. And this despite the fact that in 2000 only 404 thousand tons were exported from Russia. We are talking about an increase of more than 80 times! Moreover, if at the beginning of the 2000s the state forcibly forced exporters to leave grain in the state borders, because it could not provide for itself and bought it in the USA, Kazakhstan and even from Lithuania, today Russia itself supplies wheat to 132 countries of the world! According to plans, by 2024, the country's revenue from agricultural exports should almost double and amount to 45 billion USD.

It is noteworthy, but money in this matter is not the most important thing. A much more serious, but little-known success, Russia managed to achieve literally in 2019. The long years of work of Russian scientists have borne fruit, and the country has finally come close to fully self-sufficient in the seed fund. Wheat seeds in 2019 have already become 100 percent domestic, other seeds are also being actively replaced by Russian ones. The country is rapidly increasing its set of its own advanced agricultural technologies, and with access not only for large, but also for small farms.

This success is no less important than a breakthrough in the defense sector and import substitution, since, like the two previous ones, it is a matter of national security, the health of citizens and the country's prospects.

The list of major projects achieved by the state over the past years already numbers thousands of units. Hundreds of them will be implemented within a year, the rest will be commissioned until the 30s. It is a pity that informing people in this area is very bad. In view of this, society is open to hostile propaganda and sometimes simply does not know about the scale of the achievements against the background of advertised problems.

This is probably why myths about Russian "reality" still exist. Stuffing circulates with a list of closed, but not with a list of open industries. The fiction that “nothing is being built” in Russia still finds its readers, and meanwhile the movement is moving forward.

As they said in the past: "the dog barks, the caravan is moving." And the caravan of the Russian revival is really gaining momentum …
