In the 20th century, the media was rightfully considered the fourth power, but today the media have turned into an active offensive weapon of information warfare. The real world is slowly but surely being supplanted by the virtual, and control over the media ensures almost total control over society.

The Russian media in the form in which they exist now is a completely anti-national system, directly or indirectly working in the interests of our Western "partners".

Don't believe me?

Let's figure it out.

So, all processes in the state function according to the letter of the law. The work of the Russian media is also regulated by law.

According to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, no ideology can be established as state or mandatory (Article 13, paragraph 2), while any censorship in the media is prohibited (Article 29, paragraph 5).

Thus, it turns out that the law prohibits the state from pursuing a policy through the media aimed at realizing the country's strategic interests, forming a certain system of values and regulating the general information background in the media. But at the same time, it does not prohibit the American state from pursuing its ideology through our media. After all, what is not prohibited by law is permitted.

How does this happen?

This control is provided in several ways:

1) Through direct ownership of a media holding;

2) Through agents among the leadership;

3) Through a rating system;

4) Through the grant support system.

But first things first.

Most of the media in Russia are owned by foreign companies. These information resources a priori pursue the policy necessary for the "owner".

For example, CTC Media, a media holding that also includes the TV channels CTC, Domashny and Peretz, is legally registered in the United States. The main shareholder is the Swedish media company Modern Times Group (37, 94%).

RBC - the controlling stake is held by RBC OJSC (57.05%) through the Cyprus company Pragla Limited of Mikhail Prokhorov.

The magazines Forbes, Gala Biography, Ok!, GEO are subsidiaries of the German publishing concern Axel Springer SE.

Vedomosti, Domashny Ochag, Agrotekhnologii, Cosmopolitan series, Esquire, Grazia, National Geographic series, The Moscow Times - owned by Sanoma Independent Media, the total readership exceeds 10 million people all around Russia.

Vogue, GQ, Glamor, Allure - Cond Nast (a division of Advance Publications). The monthly audience of Russia is more than 3.5 million people.

A series of magazines "Liza", "Relax!", "My beautiful garden", "Good advice. I love to cook!”,“Oops!”,“Revolution”,“Playboy”and dozens of others belong to the German media concern Hubert Burda Media - audience coverage is 35 million people.

ELLE, ELLE girl, MAXIM, Marie Claire, Antenna-Telesem, StarHit, Va-bank are published by the Hearst Shkulev Media media holding, which is a subsidiary of the American Hearst Corporation "- one of the largest media holdings in the world. The total audience of "Hearst Shkulev Digital" is over 11 million people a month.

In addition, many print media and TV channels are registered in offshore zones. In general, if we trace the chain of owners of a newspaper, we will come across a multi-stage system of intermediaries, where the final owner will be all the same foreign media holdings.

Some of the media are owned by oligarchs, whose accounts, property, and sometimes their families are located abroad. There is no need to explain how they are influenced.

Such informational Internet publications as Lenta.ru, Gazeta. Ru, Live Journal, Championship.com, Fanat.ru, Quto.ru, Redigo.ru, + SOL”,“Letidor.ru”- controlled by SUP Media, it is owned by foreign legal entities.

Everyone knows the story of Mr. VM Kulistikov, who, before becoming the head of NTV, worked at Radio Liberty, a division of the US CIA.

Now about the rating system.

Today, the entire mechanism of the media's work is tied to extracting the maximum benefit. We watch most of the TV channels for free, while the TV channels themselves spend a lot of money on content creation. How to recoup costs and make a profit? The only source of income that can do this is advertising. The cost of advertising is determined by the TV channel's rating: the higher the rating, the more expensive advertising time will be.

And who determines the rating of this or that TV channel?

In theory, this should be a TV viewer. But is the picture that we see on TV is what we would like to watch? Definitely not. So who then takes responsibility for the "opinion of the majority"? Who sets the main agenda?

It turns out that the American rating agency TNS Gallup Media is doing this work. As representatives of TNSRussia itself explain, they make up their rating from the data that they allegedly receive from 3800 families in Russia, moreover, living only in large cities (over 100 thousand).

But this is only official information, which is hard to believe.

Let's take a couple of smaller rating agencies.

Freedom House is a non-governmental organization headquartered in Washington DC. Its budget is 66-80% through grants funded by the US government.

Medialogia is a company created by employees of the IBS IT holding.

Sanovate Camcon is part of the Ipsos international French research network.

Russia does not even have its own national rating system.

(* Note: Since 2016, the Russian VTsIOM began to maintain a system of media ratings)

And, finally, there is a system of grant support for the media. Today, about half of the regional media are funded from abroad. The most famous foreign foundations “supporting independent Russian media are Freedom House, Soros Foundation, USAID, the French organization Reporters Without Borders, and others.

From recent events - the United States is buying up the largest urban Internet portals in Russia with an audience of more than 12 million people a month. And ideological indoctrination is acquiring completely different scales that are frankly dangerous for Russia.

Through the Russian media, the Americans carry out occupation propaganda, the goals of which are:

- Disguise the occupation status of Russia so that people do not understand that their country is a colony;

- Information support for the implementation of the strategic tasks that the Americans set for the elimination of Russia, the genocide of the Russian people.

For 2016, the US State Department allocated $ 82 million to conduct an information war against Russia.

There is a well-known saying: he who pays, calls the tune.

So what kind of music do we listen to on a daily basis?

If you look closely at the images that are embedded in the subconscious of TV viewers, it becomes obvious that Western values are being imposed, which are not traditional for our people. Programs aimed at young people instill a cult of sexual promiscuity, primitive desires. A model of loneliness and protrusion of one's own ego is imposed, which becomes the basis for the destruction of the institution of the family, the emergence of mentally and physically unhealthy children, that is, in fact, there is an information genocide of the population of Russia.
