How was the disc-shaped Ark built at God's command?

Noah's ark according to the Bible, a ship built by Noah at the behest of God to save his family from the Flood, as well as all animals (a couple of individuals of each species), and all artists and scientists based their vision of this ship on the basis of data from the Bible.

"And the Lord [God] saw that the corruption of men on earth was great, and that all the thoughts and thoughts of their hearts were evil at all times; and the Lord repented that he had made man on earth, and grieved in His heart.

Noah did everything as God commanded him. At the end of the construction, God told Noah to enter the ark with his sons and his wife, and with his sons' wives, and also bring all the animals into the ark in pairs, so that they would stay alive. And take for yourself any food that is necessary for yourself and for the animals. After which the ark was closed by God.

Seven days later (in the second month, on the seventeenth [27th - according to the Septuagint translation] day) rain poured down on the earth, and the flood continued on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and the water multiplied, and raised the ark, and it rose above the earth and floated on the surface of the waters. “And the water on the earth increased exceedingly, so that all the high mountains that are under all the heavens were covered” And every creature that was on the surface of the earth lost its life, only Noah remained and what was with him in the ark.

The water became stronger on the ground for one hundred and fifty days, after which it began to decrease. “And the ark stopped in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. The water dropped steadily until the tenth month; on the first day of the tenth month, the tops of the mountains appeared."

By the first day of the next year, the water on the earth had dried up; And Noah opened the roof of the ark, and in the second month, by the twenty-seventh day, the earth dried up.

And God said to Noah: Get out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons, and your sons' wives with you; Bring out all the animals with you And I will no longer strike all living things And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth …

God commanded that the length of the ark was 300 cubits (133.5 m); width 50 cubits (22.25 m) and height 30 cubits (13.35 m). He also commanded Noah to make a hole in the ark, and to bring it at the top (52 cm) at the top, and make the door to the ark on the side; arrange three branches in it. These offices ("floors") were to be located one above the other. The ark itself was to be made of gopher wood and tarred with resin and its compartments inside and out. Nothing else is said about the arrangement of the ark.

Last year, a translation of an ancient guide to building the ark, written on an earthen tablet dating back to 3,700 years, turned the general idea of the true shape of Noah's Ark upside down. The ancient text is far from describing a traditional wooden ship that would float on flooded waters with animals peeping out of windows, the ancient text describes a ship that was in fact a circular disc-shaped shape.

Previously, the story of the Flood was considered a biblical myth, but in recent years, there have been many finds and scientific data confirming the fact of global flooding of the earth. Noah's Ark and the "myth of the flood" describe the real events that took place, and another confirmation was found in the information set forth on a clay tablet whose age is 3700 years.

The plaque was found in the Middle East by Leonard Simmons, who served with the RAF during the 1940s. However, the ancient artifact was not subject to any research until Simmons' son Douglas donated it to the British Museum in 2008.

As an expert in deciphering cuneiform writing and assistant curator of the British Museum's Department of Ancient Mesopotamian Writing, Languages and Cultures, Professor Finkel was able to translate the text on a clay tablet, which led to a new interpretation of the history of the Ark.

This tablet described the Mesopotamian story, which became the story in the Book of Genesis of the Old Testament about Noah and the ark, which saved all kinds of animals from a flood. The text describes how God spoke to Atram Hasis, the Sumerian king who is the figure of Noah in earlier versions of the Ark story.

He says: "Atram Hasis, heed my advice to live forever! Destroy your house, build a boat; despise property and save lives! Pull out the boat that you will build with a circular structure; let its length and width be the same."

An ancient Babylonian text describes the ark as a circular 65-meter bowl with walls 6 meters high, located on two levels. The ship has been divided into sections in order to divide the various animals into their own sections. In 60 lines of text, which Dr. Finkel describes as “a detailed guide to building the ark,” it is stated that the ship was built using ropes and reeds before being oiled with bitumen to make it waterproof.

Scientists have always assumed that the ark was a large boat with a pointed bow and stern for sailing on the waves, but according to Finkel, the ark should not sail anywhere, it just had to drift uncontrollably.

The history of Noah's ark is described in dozens of ancient texts and is presented in three major world religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. According to this story, God flooded the world as a punishment for its corruption and told Noah to build an ark and fill all kinds of animals with vapor. As soon as the stream receded, the ark came to rest on the mountain.
