Baghdad Battery

This curious thing was found in the ruins of a Parthian village, near Khuyut Rabbou, north of Baghdad. This village existed roughly between 248 BC. and 226 years. The device consisted of a 5-1 / 2-inch tall earthen vessel, inside which was a copper cylinder held in place by asphalt, and inside it was an oxidized iron rod. The experts who investigated this concluded that the device only had to be filled with an acid or alkaline liquid in order to generate an electrical charge.

It is believed that this ancient battery may have been used to electroplate an object with gold. If so, how was this technology lost … was the battery not opened for another 1800 years? The battery is kept in the National Museum of Iraq.

Fort McHenry in the USA

Fort McHenry is welcome to visit. This is not just a fort. Fort McHenry, which in the past guarded the sea harbor of Baltimore, took a big battle from the British. The fortifications at Fort McHenry were unusual. The gun batteries are hidden behind shallow earthen ramparts. From the side of the bay they are not visible at all - like mounds overgrown with grass. In their ring are the houses of the defenders of the fortification and an ammunition depot. In the center of the fort there is a mast with a stars and stripes national flag. The fortification is now a monument and museum in a pretty park. It was under the impression of this fort that the poem "The Stars and Stripes Flag" was written.

Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent

The Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent is the central structure of the so-called "Citadel" - a square in the center of the city, which could accommodate up to 100 thousand people (half of the population of the then city). The square is surrounded by four massive pyramids on platforms. The Northern and Southern palaces adjoin the Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent (Quetzalcoatl), which were not only administrative buildings, but where the premises for living and work were located. Despite the absence of roofs, the outlines of the frescoes still retain their brightness.

Geoglyph "Star"

The geoglyph, called in the local dialect "Estrella" ("Star"), was discovered not so long ago in the rocky areas of Palpa in Peru, next to the sensational Nazca region in the last century. The drawing, and this is what this image is in fact, is made on an uneven surface in an unknown way on an area of approximately 150x150 m. It is highly likely that the drawing contains encrypted information, it is distinguished by the predominance of geometric shapes collected in a single easily readable geometric composition.

Megaliths of Nuku Hiva Island

The ancestors of the Maohi islanders hail from the legendary ancestral home of the Polynesians Hawaiki. They sailed to the Marquesas Islands, probably from the west, in the 4th-1st centuries, in double-hulled canoes from Samoa and Tonga and explored all the islands of Tahiti. Buried settlements and petroglyphs in caves remained from them. It is impossible to accurately determine the homeland of the aliens, the settlement also did not proceed immediately, but in several waves.

Excavations of the oldest settlements on the Marquesas (villages in the Haatuatua Bay on the Nuku-Khiva Island and in the Khane Valley on the Wa-Huka Island) showed that people were cannibals and skull hunters. It is likely that these are the skulls of ancestors, and not of slain enemies. The people were clearly of the Polynesian type.

The oldest settlement of the Rus in Diring-Yuryakh

For 13 years by 1995.more than 32 thousand square meters of the culture-containing layer were uncovered, more than 4, 5 thousand cultural objects of other Rus were discovered, incl. - anvils, chippers, various tools, decorations, etc.

Between 1930 and 1940, overseas predictor Edgar Cayce stated in a well-documented prediction that the remains of the lost city of Atlantis would be discovered off the shores of Bimini in 1968 or 1969. In September 1968, seven hundred meters of stone-laid limestone blocks were found in the sea off the coast of Pardis Point on Northern Bimini, making up what is now called the "Bimini Road". After conducting dozens of underwater archaeological expeditions starting in 1974, the historian David Zink is convinced that these stones are megaliths by their nature and were laid by people.

Metal spheres

For decades, miners in South Africa have been excavating mysterious metal spheres. Their origin is unclear; they are about an inch in diameter, and some have three parallel grooves etched around the equator. The found spheres are divided into two types: one is made of solid bluish metal with streaks of white, the others are hollow and filled with white spongy substance.
