Only a few, perhaps, could appreciate the role of the Club of Rome in the fate of the world. Most often they say that the Club of Rome is a "think tank" engaged in forecasting world processes. However, it is fundamentally different from other similar institutions. The Club of Rome is an institution working, so to speak, "in the interests of humanity." Its real beneficiaries are those who established it 50 years ago.
It is believed that the Club of Rome was organized by the prominent Italian scientist, manager and public figure Aurelio Peccei (1908-1984) and the OECD Director General for Science, Alexander King. However, the real founder of this structure was David Rockefeller, who died in 2017 at the age of 102.
In 1965, the World Order Conditions conference was held at David Rockefeller's estate in Bellagio (Italy), to which the owner of the estate was invited by about two dozen intellectuals. And on April 6-7, 1968, a representative meeting was held in Rome with the participation of 75 people, where it was decided to establish the Club of Rome. The participants in the meeting proclaimed that the club should engage in intellectual activity to describe the desired parameters of the future of humanity. We agreed that the number of members of the Club of Rome will be equal to 100, it will be formed from the most prominent scientific, public, political and financial figures from different countries. An executive committee of 12 determines the direction and agenda of the club's annual assemblies. In 2018, the club's 50th anniversary assembly will take place on October 17-18 in Rome.
Since 2008, the headquarters of the Club of Rome has been located in Switzerland, in Winterthur. In addition to full members, there are associate members of the club who participate in the preparation of projects and reports commissioned by the club. Guests of honor from among the leading statesmen, politicians and scientists are invited to the annual meetings of the Club of Rome. In addition to current and associate members, there are also honorary members. Membership lists include former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, King of the Belgians Philip, former NATO Secretary General Javier Solana, former General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Mikhail Gorbachev, billionaire and CNN founder Ted Turner, former US Vice President Al Gore, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands, former US President Bill Clinton, financial speculator George Soros, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, former Presidents of the European Commission Romano Prodi and Jacques Delors.
The Club of Rome is constantly expanding the geography of its activities through the creation of national associations that have been created in 35 countries. In 1989, the Association for the Promotion of the Club of Rome was established in the USSR. The collapse of the Union did not prevent it from transforming into the Russian Association for the Promotion of the Club of Rome, now operating under the auspices of the Advanced Research Fund.
The Club of Rome has both public and non-public areas of activity. In the public sphere, first of all, the reports of the club are presented. The first of them appeared in the 1970s and were forecasts of world development made using mathematical models.
The first report "World Dynamics" was published in 1971 and was prepared by J. Forrester, professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The baton was taken over by a group of researchers led by Dennis Meadows, who published the report "The Limits to Growth" in 1972. The reports contained the results of computer calculations of the dynamics of human development for the coming decades: industrial and agricultural production, population, natural resources, environmental pollution. The results were disappointing. The continuation of economic growth together with demographic growth, according to calculations, should create more and more pressure on the natural resources and the biosphere of the planet. At some point, a catastrophe must occur as a result of the depletion of natural resources and deadly pollution of the environment.
The reports of the Club of Rome launched a version of the possible death of mankind from the "greenhouse effect" as a result of large-scale emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere arising from the burning of oil, natural gas and coal ("heat death"). The scenarios differed in the timing of the catastrophe, but in any case it was predicted that it would come no later than half a century later. In 1974, another report of the "Humanity at the Crossroads" club was published, prepared under the leadership of M. Mesarovich and E. Pestel. In 1976 J. Tinbergen's report “Revision of the international order” appeared.
These and subsequent reports of the Club of Rome (43 reports were prepared by 2017) created a nervous atmosphere - and at the same time the idea was introduced into the public consciousness that a global catastrophe could be prevented by stopping economic and demographic growth. This is how the concept of "zero growth" began to take shape. In fact, it was a return to Malthusianism - the doctrine according to which population growth leads to poverty and misery, and therefore wars, epidemics and other cataclysms that claim the lives of large masses of people should be considered positive phenomena. The neo-Malthusianism of the Club of Rome provided, however, "civilized" methods of population reduction. One of these methods was to be "family planning".
In the 1970s, when these ideas were thrown to the public, the gap in levels of economic development (in terms of production and consumption per capita) between the North and the South had already become gigantic. Developing countries were actually asked to acknowledge the gap and not try to get out of poverty.
Over time, the idea of "zero growth" was replaced by the concept of "organic growth", first articulated in the report "Humanity at a Crossroads". Its essence was that each country, each region should be considered as a part (cell) of a single living organism (humanity), in each case a different approach is needed. And the approach - and the functions of the "cells" - should be determined by the very same Club of Rome, acting in relation to the parts of the "world organism" as their "brain".
So, for half a century of its existence, this "brain" has generated 43 reports. What is in the "solid residue"? And in the remainder three ideasimposed from report to report and disseminated by the national associations for the promotion of the Club of Rome.
First ideais that the world must stop the growth of the economy and population. This is the minimum task. The maximum objective is a sharp decline in the scale of economic activity and a radical reduction in the world's population. Most members of the Club of Rome believe that there should be no more than one billion people on Earth. In fact, the Club of Rome is developing an "intellectual" rationale for the policy of global genocide, carried out under the control of the owners of money.
Second ideastates that state sovereignty is an obstacle to solving global problems of mankind. In particular, the thesis "pollution of the biosphere does not know national borders" is thrown in; Consequently, in order to combat the pollution of the oceans and the atmosphere, to prevent "heat death", to protect the ozone layer of the Earth, international cooperation is necessary, which will be effective only if state borders are removed. The same applies to other global problems of mankind (energy, food).
Third ideais final: a world government is needed to save humanity. Over time, globalization should completely destroy nation states, their functions will pass to the world government.
For this, David Rockefeller founded the Club of Rome, imitating the "world brain". Last year, the "brain" in the person of David Rockefeller passed away. Complications arose in the implementation of the plans. Donald Trump, who came to the White House, began to act clearly not according to the Rockefeller scheme. Apparently, the sixth heart of a billionaire (he was implanted with the hearts of other people several times) could not withstand such stress. Who took over the reins of the Club of Rome after the death of its founder remains a mystery.
In 1972, the authors of The Limits to Growth frightened: the planet's resources are being depleted, and the explosive growth of population and the associated growth in consumption is sharply increasing. In 1976, Paul Ehrlich, a member of the Club of Rome, wrote in The Population Bomb: “We must stop our attempts to treat the symptoms and start cutting out the cancer. This operation is likely to require many brutal and ruthless decisions. " One of the specific "cruel and ruthless decisions" was proposed by another member of the Club of Rome, Ted Turner. In 1996, he said that a 95 percent reduction in the world's population to 225-300 million would be "ideal." In 2008, this "humanist" adjusted his position and said that it would be enough to reduce the world's population to 2 billion people. In any case, he insists, "we have too many people."

How the elite dominates the world. Part 2: why all over the world, the right and power were given to the Central Banks?
Despite the fact that the countries of the world are deeply divided in everything, but one way or another, almost all of them were convinced that the Central Bank is what they need. Today, less than 0.1% of the world's population lives in countries where there is no central bank. Do you think this is a coincidence?
