"SP" found out that the deadly poisonous production is protected by officials.

Europe has long abandoned the harmful palm oil and margarine - scientists have already proven that this is an absolute deadly poison. And in Russia, food corporations continue to persecute the entire population with impunity, which causes dozens of deadly diseases. And especially in children and adolescents.

Anemia, infertility, cancer …

Today everyone knows that palm oil is a poison. And everyone knows that it is harmful to eat fried food, even in sunflower oil. But not everyone will explain why it is harmful.

And even scientists could not explain this for a long time. Only the latest research carried out by the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) and the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) have finally answered the question of why palm oil is harmful.

During the production of food at high temperatures (above 200 degrees) and, in particular, during the refining and frying of vegetable oils and fats, harmful substances are formed. These are glycidyl ethers, as well as 2-MCPD and 3-MCPD. Today these words will not say anything to an ordinary buyer - and tomorrow, for sure, everyone will know these names.

Meanwhile, these substances were discovered back in the seventies of the last century, but only recently began to study in detail their harmful effects on the human body. And today it has been proven that these compounds are extremely toxic.

3-MCPD and its derivatives (esters) are the strongest poison for the genitourinary system: it leads to kidney pathologies, renal failure and cancer of the genitourinary system. In addition, this substance can cause anemia (anemia), it is toxic to the nervous system and to the fetus in pregnant women.

Glycidyl ethers are even more dangerous - they infect the genetic material of the cell. That is, their main danger is that genetic changes can be passed on to descendants … who have never even taken these substances. In fact, a baby is born already "poisoned" with palm oil.

Also, European scientists have found that glycidyl ethers affect the nervous system, and also lead to male infertility and the formation of a huge number of malignant tumors.

Even bread and coffee are dangerous

What foods contain glycidyl ethers and 3-MCPD? It turns out that in almost everything, from fries, fried donuts, smoked meats to seemingly "harmless" like coffee, bread, toast and noodles.

The highest concentration of harmful substances, according to European scientists, is in snacks (in particular, in salted crackers).

Glycidyl ethers and 3-MCPD are formed during heat treatment of all vegetable oils without exception. But - in different concentrations.

Experts from the International Life Sciences Institute have classified all refined vegetable oils and fats according to the content of harmful fractions into three groups.

The first one is low in 3-MCPD: sunflower, rapeseed, soybean and coconut oils (their use in moderation is relatively harmless).

The second is with an average content of 3-MCPD: olive, peanut, corn, safflower, cottonseed and rice oils.

The third group is high in 3-MCPD: all hydrogenated fats (including margarine), palm oil, hard frying fats. All this in its pure form is absolute poison!

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), commissioned by the European Commission (EU government), has conducted a huge, multi-year study to find out how harmful refined oils are. And it turned out that the safe level of consumption of a substance such as 3-MCPD is 0.8 mg / kg of human body weight per day. If it is more, the dangerous consequences begin, which we mentioned above.

But for glycidyl ethers there is no such "harmless" minimum at all. That is, this substance is dangerous in any concentration - like mercury or cyanide. In principle, it should not be in food.

Poison for the little ones

When the results of a study by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) were published, it had a bombshell effect in the European Union.

In retail chains in different countries, a massive recall of food products began, which turned out to be literally dangerous.

In May 2016, in Italy, several retail chains (including the country's largest COOP) withdrew from the sale of more than two hundred food products, including Nutella pasta. It is on the grounds that this delicacy has a very high content of palm oil.

Already this year in Austria, Novalac baby food (produced in Germany and France) was removed from the market, since it was found to contain a high content of 3-MCPD and glycidyl ethers - potentially dangerous derivatives of palm oil.

In fact, the entire food industry in the European Union was hit hard. Thanks to scientists, it turned out that for decades, millions of people were simply "forced" with real poison.

After the scandal erupted, the members of the European Federation of Fat, Oil and Protein Industry (FEDIOL) were forced to sit down at the negotiating table with the European authorities and agree on joint work to reduce the level of 3-MCPD in oils.

The industrialists reluctantly agreed to reduce the glycidyl esters in all of their oils to 1 ppm (1 mg / kg product). And by the middle of 2018, the most severe restrictions on the content of glycidyl ethers and 3-MCPD in food products, and primarily in baby food, will be legislated throughout Europe.

Naturally, manufacturers will have to change all their technologies that have been developed over decades. But the health of the population is more valuable than the immediate benefits of food corporations.

When soy sauce is a poison too

Unfortunately, almost nothing is known in Russia about the long-term struggle waged by scientists and the European Commission against corporations (and which nevertheless ended in victory!).

Supermarket shelves are still full of all kinds of crackers and cookies, frozen burgers and fries, dry cream and cornflakes … And all these are food products that are prepared exclusively on the basis of margarine and palm oil - that is, again, this is one hundred percent poison!

- Why in our country they stubbornly refuse to notice the problem of the presence of 3-MCPD in Russian food products, I do not understand! I have several copies of the formal replies of Russian officials who agree that the problem is important and that it needs to be carefully studied, conferred, but they do nothing further than words.

The scariest part is 3-MCPD in baby food. Everyone knows that there is a lot of it, but they do nothing! The problem is not being resolved, it is hushed up, bureaucratic. The health of the population is deteriorating, especially of children and adolescents. Our cancer centers are packed, cancer is getting younger. And 3-MCPD continues to collect bloody tribute, destroying our health and the health of our offspring.

"SP": - Where do these harmful substances come from in food? Is it just that manufacturers are maliciously using cheap and therefore dangerous technologies?

- 3-MCPD is a member of a class of substances called chloropropanols. And the first most important source of their formation is fats when they are contaminated with chlorine or when hydrochloric acid is used in combination with heating during their production.

A classic example is the high concentrations of 3-MCPD in low quality palm oil used, as you rightly pointed out, by unscrupulous food manufacturers.

The second source is disposable filter bags for tea, coffee, herbs, paper filters.3-MCPD is formed therein from adhesive resins used in the manufacture of insoluble paper.

The third source is instant sauces. You sprinkle inexpensive, soy sauce on rice and think you are eating a healthy vegetarian meal, unaware that there is a lethal concentration of 3-MCPD on your plate.

And it was formed in a sauce by boiling soy extract in hydrochloric acid (this is a technology that is used for the rapid industrial production of soy sauce to accelerate the destruction of soy proteins).

The fourth source of 3-MCPD is various polymer packaging. The most striking example is the protein casings of sausage, which are considered the safest. But at the same time, we forget to mention that they are safe if they are made using expensive technology. And there are a lot of 3-MCPD in cheap packages.
