Experts have discovered the most dangerous poison in palm oil

“Russians can drink anything, even hydrochloric acid. But it will definitely kill you,”said the experts of the laboratory in the Czech Republic after they carried out an examination of butter sold in Russia and even getting to Russian schools under a state contract. Palm oil in its composition turned out to be technical, exceeding 10 times the European standards for the content of dangerous carcinogens recognized as a very toxic poison - the so-called glycidyl ethers (GE).

In our country, the content of GE is not regulated by any standards at all, and therefore Rospotrebnadzor believes that there is no reason to react. Meanwhile, State Duma Deputy Yevgeny Fedorov and a group of experts are calling for urgent action to cleanse the country of the poison.

In 2017, 892 thousand tons of palm oil were imported to Russia, and last year - already 1 million 60 tons. Today it is impossible not to eat palm oil - it is almost everywhere. In the so-called dairy products, confectionery, chips, fast food, sauces. At the same time, approximately 83% of palm oil contains glycidyl ethers in quantities that sharply exceed the standards.

Glycidol was recognized as a poison and carcinogen back in the days of the USSR, in 1983. In 2008, sanitary rules were adopted, according to which it is classified as highly hazardous class A2 poisons and carcinogens. It provokes the development of many types of cancer, and in addition, it is able to change the genetic code of the cell. According to the doctor of medical sciences, the first deputy director of the REC "Biomed", Moscow State University. Lomonosov Dmitry Edelev, any use of it is extremely dangerous: it is absorbed by the body by 97% and is able to penetrate even through the skin, retaining its carcinogenic effect. In other words, palm oil creams and soaps are just as dangerous as any food made from palm oil. GE damage the liver; accumulate in the thyroid gland and lead to malignant processes in it (in recent years, there has been a sharp increase in this particular type of cancer in Russia, which experts associate with the beginning of the massive consumption of palm oil). GE destroy blood, nerve cells, have a detrimental effect on the genitourinary system, cause serious nephropathy, eating up the kidney from the inside; make men sterile. They are toxic to the skin. They are also tasteless, transparent and perfectly soluble in water. The World Health Organization Cancer Institute links glycidyl esters with 37% (!) Of cancer cases in the world. "They contain mutagens and lead to the birth of children with genetic disabilities," adds Edelev.

But Russian technical regulations do not even take into account such a parameter as GE. And we freely sell technical oil under the guise of food oil. “Unfortunately, the consumer is unable to distinguish natural dairy products from those containing palm oil by sight or smell. And practice shows that not every enterprise producing dairy products is provided with raw milk,”says the coordinator of the project“For honest products”Alexander Brazhko. Experts call the glazed curds, which children love so much, and which are a hellish mixture of palm oil and sugar, especially dangerous.

Fedorov calls the massive use of technical palm oil in food products "food terrorism" and "genocide of the Russian people." “We eat from the garbage. Today technical palm oil is freely imported into our country. Czech experts who checked Russian dairy products, pronounced the verdict "especially dangerous" and said that they would have it immediately withdrawn from circulation. Our Rospotrebnadzor, based on the facts of this inspection, stated that there is no reason for concern,”says the deputy.

Last year alone, about 300 thousand people died from oncology in Russia. Fedorov believes that if the consumption of palm oil is massively stopped in the country, these statistics will decrease by at least a third. Meanwhile, over the past 10 years, 4 million tons of industrial palm oil have been imported into the country through the port of Taman. In terms of glycidol, this is about 40 tons of pure poison. And they continue to import it.

“We are not against palm oil. We are against carcinogenic palm oil,”experts say. And they demand to immediately introduce temporary sanitary rules in the country, which would prohibit the import of such oil into the Russian Federation.
