The information phantom about Russian backwardness, created by Western technologists and diligently supported by our liberal get-together, practically daily instills into our consciousness the idea of our inferiority. We are constantly being told about the struggle of our institutes and universities for places in international rankings, forced to fight for citation and cited as examples of Western research centers - French, German, Dutch. But, excuse me, does Great Britain have its own rocketry or space industry, comparable to the Russian one? Or that French scientists, who have hardly created a cruise missile with a range of a thousand kilometers, can compare with our engineers, who have long ago shown the world the "Granat" complex with a range of 3 thousand kilometers or "Caliber", striking at 2,600 kilometers, or "X-101 ", Striking targets at a distance of 5500 kilometers? Holland or Belgium, Sweden or Finland can really build an air defense complex comparable to the "S-400"?

No, they cannot, because the Europeans do not have such design bureaus as ours, there is no scientific school, there are no research institutes corresponding to our level. And note that we manage to create all these complex products after the liberal Yeltsin pogrom of Russian science.

Even the leaders of the Western world - the United States and Japan - could not create anything like our supersonic cruise anti-ship missiles like Basalt, Granite, Vulcan, Onyx, Zircon, or ballistic monsters like Voevoda or "Sarmat". Work on the Avangard maneuvering warhead began in 2003. It lasted 15 years, and this is not surprising, given the degree of novelty of technologies and technical solutions that were not previously used by anyone and anywhere. This means that the risk coefficient in the use of new technologies was prohibitively high:

- new materials were needed that could withstand temperatures up to 2000 ° С;

- new engines and technical solutions that allow the aircraft to move in the atmosphere at speeds over 20M (M is the Mach number, indicating the number of speeds of sound);

- guidance and communication systems capable of controlling and aiming at a target a battle glider enveloped in a cloud of incandescent plasma, and many other new technologies, which we will not learn about soon, but we will try to understand the basic principles of creating such an aircraft right now …

As a result, we have before us an aircraft capable of:

- to develop and maintain a speed of 20-27 M in the atmosphere;

- pass in the atmosphere up to 5000 km at a specified speed;

- actively maneuver along the course and pitch for tens of kilometers;

- withstand temperatures up to 2000 ° C on the skin; - shield or absorb megawatts of thermal energy during the flight;

- to carry out precise aiming at the target with KVO (circular probable deviation), comparable to non-maneuvering warheads of ICBMs already in service;

- carry a thermonuclear charge over a megaton class.

The Avangard complex was created on the basis of the Ajax project, which was almost ruined by the liberals. "Ajax" is a space plane created in the 1980s in the Soviet Union, which allowed horizontal take-off and operation at an altitude of 60-70 kilometers. This project was actually killed by the Americans at the hands of the Yeltsin regime, but with the coming to power of the St. Petersburg security officers, its revival began.

In the late 1980s, Vladimir Lvovich Freishtadt proposed a completely new principle of constructing a hypersonic aircraft at the St. Petersburg NIPGS, the Research Enterprise of Hypersonic Systems, which was part of the Leninets holding. He proposed not to shield the hypersonic vehicle flying at great speed from heat, but rather to let the heat inside to increase the energy resource of the complex.

The idea was to assimilate part of the kinetic and thermal energy from the hypersonic air flow around the GLA (hypersonic aircraft) by onboard systems with conversion into electrical and chemical energy to increase the power-to-weight ratio of the vehicle, thus solving the issue of cooling the hypersonic aircraft.

Now we turn to the next component of the ingenious idea of Russian and Soviet designers - to transform the energy of the incident flow into electrical and thermochemical.

The fact is that for the operation of a hypersonic combustion chamber, hydrogen is needed, it can be a mixture of hydrogen with methane, kerosene, or anything else, but hydrogen must be present.

The excess heat, which appears on the outer skin of the GLA, heats up a mixture of water with kerosene and a catalyst, in which, at temperatures of about 1000 ° C, long hydrocarbon chains of kerosene are broken, and methane and hydrogen must be formed on board a hypersonic aircraft. This solution makes it possible to obtain the necessary, but explosive hydrogen directly on board the GLA during the flight, without using bulky cryogenic equipment for its transportation and storage.

As an engine, the developers of Ajax planned to use a magneto-plasma-chemical engine, which included a magnetogasdynamic (MHD) generator and an MHD accelerator.

Plasma streams incident on the aircraft at hypersonic speeds are highly ionized, which allows the generation of megawatts of electricity directly on board during flight.

The onboard magnetogasdynamic generator, due to the braking of the incoming hypersonic flow by the magnetic field, created optimal conditions for fuel combustion in the supersonic combustion chamber. In addition, as conceived by the developers, it was supposed to generate electricity with a capacity of up to 100 MW. The electricity generated by the MHD generator must be supplied to the MHD accelerator, combined with the engine nozzles and capable of further accelerating the ionized products of fuel combustion.

As conceived by the developers, the Ajax hypersonic aircraft was supposed to accelerate to a speed of 25 M and operate at altitudes of 30-60 km.

And so "Avangard" is a mini-"Ajax", accelerated by a rocket, and it doesn't matter which one. It can be Stiletto, Voivoda, Yars, Rubezh or Sarmat. It is actually a LEO drone.

Avangard completely changes the rules of missile defense systems and devalues both the THAAD and Aegis-Ashore missile defense systems deployed by the United States near Russia and China, as well as the HAARP-based strategic missile defense systems capable of creating plasma structures in the ionosphere on the way of the warheads of our missiles. leading to their destruction - the "Vanguard" combat unit is able to bypass them both in course and in height.
