Let's keep what little remains of our ancestors. Let's preserve and increase.
At the beginning of winter 2015, I took a lot of photographs of wooden houses in Tomsk. Filmed deliberately little reflected architecture somewhere. Wooden houses with Vedic solar symbols. I later used this photo in my video and in a number of articles. But it was my friend's feat to work hard and upload a selection of photos. After looking at a series of my programs "Tomsk Unknown" on YouTube, he asked me to print a photo of solar signs for him. I chose the most successful pictures, as it seemed to me, and sent them to print. On the second sheet, the color cartridge is dead. But my friend was overly grateful to these two sheets. He took out the dusty wood cutters (as it turned out, he had such a hobby at one time) and began to create. Now she is cutting her first solar sign. I realized that it is extremely important to preserve the legacy of our ancestors, which has not yet been destroyed. And you never know who suddenly awakens ancestral memory and … And there will simply be samples for carving. I carefully selected the best photos, but there were about a hundred of them. Well, you can't easily catch a fish from a pond. Further, I suggest simply enjoying the wooden architecture of Tomsk. So diligently for some reason not reflected either in collections, or in print, or in books. With very, very rare exceptions. And as a rule, not available to a wide review. So:
We also need to express gratitude to Andrei Golubev (read his blog "Notes of a Kolymchanin") for his call to upload everything to the network to preserve the heritage. The further I study the heritage of the Rus, the more I am convinced that the term "Age of Dual Belief" is also imposed on us by global architects from religion. Religious consciousness is a destructive consciousness and an extremely terrible thing I must say. Like its most vile manifestation, religious fanaticism. There was no era of dual faith. There was an imposed religion and a real Orthodox faith, diligently destroyed over a millennium, and especially in the most acute phase that began 200 years ago. By the way, almost all the carving of the platbands is in the images of gymnosperms. And these are prehistoric plants, the prints of which began to be found in coal deposits relatively recently. And our ancestors knew what they looked like. I wonder how they knew? But this is a topic for another conversation.

Wooden dishes of the Slavs - how did our ancestors eat?
It is difficult to say from what time the manufacture of chiseled wooden dishes began in Russia. Archaeological finds on the territory of Novgorod and on the site of Bulgarian settlements in the Volga region indicate that the lathe was known as early as the 12th century. In Kiev, in the secret places of the tithe church, a chiseled bowl was found during excavations. In the XVI-XVII centuries. installation of the simplest, so-called bow, lathe was available to every ordinary artisan
