The author asks a simple question, how many Russian people should be in our country now, if not for the numerous methods of genocide used on a terrifying scale in the twentieth century. And was it so easier for our ancestors to have 8-10 children, as it seems to us at first glance?

Please remember this number. She seems fantastic, even delusional. In the pink dream of the most desperate patriot, you will not see such a populated Russian plains.

Of course, many of us remember Mendeleev's forecast, who believed that by the middle of the 20th century there should have been 300 million Russians.

And therefore, by the 21st century, a much larger number should have come.

Mendeleev put forward only one condition for achieving this figure: Maintain the same rates of reproduction!

Naturally, the point is not in the unfulfilled predictions of the great scientist. The bottom line is that at the beginning of the 20th century, the numbers coincided surprisingly. There were about 1 billion people on the planet, and about 100 million of them were Russians. That is, every 10th, on our tight ball, spoke the great and mighty.

Today there are 7 billion people on the planet. Consequently, there should be 700 million Russians. We are almost 600 million fewer.

This juxtaposition is reminiscent of the famous death game.

When talking about Russian mortality, they sometimes remember Russian roulette. One cartridge is lowered into the revolver drum, scrolled and shot in the temple.

In fact, in the 20th century, the Russian people played something reminiscent of hussar roulette. This is when one cartridge is taken out of a full drum.

Think about it! Out of a full drum of Russians, one in seven had a chance to survive. 600 million dead and unborn against a hundred living.

We were taught to think that these 600 million are on the conscience of Hitler, Stalin, our inhospitable homeland, wars, revolutions, and most importantly, difficult living conditions.

But let's ask ourselves, did the rest of the world live in better conditions all this time? Who (except Switzerland) on this planet has not survived wars and revolutions? Why are there more than a billion Chinese who survived the 20th century no less than ours?

And why the hell is there already 7 billion on planet Earth, and the Russian flag hung lifelessly at around 100?

There is also an answer to this question in the mass consciousness. Previously, we supposedly lived in villages and villages where families needed workers.

In the city, the child will not bring prosperity, and therefore we are shrinking. In addition, it is simply scary for a child in modern Russia. Why give birth if they kill him. And if they do not kill, they will rape. At worst, he gets drunk.

At first glance, a logical observation. However, it is logical for those who, again, forget about the rest of the planet. They drink, rape and kill all over the earth, it has always been so. And no matter how cruel it sounds, we will not solve this problem by the method of "not being born".

In addition, those who piously believed in the "severity of life" and the peasant way of reproduction simply do not know history.

The truth is, the "worker" needs a place in the sun. In order to feed one peasant family, 10 acres of land were required.

By the beginning of the 20th century, this figure was nowhere to be found in the indigenous Russian regions. We actively exported the population to new lands.

A peasant with 5 acres of land, conceiving a son, could not help but know that he had a long road to the big city or beyond the Urals, that is, life is hard.

And now (according to modern concepts) the mother with the folder should have, wisely looking at the 5 acres garden, give up an extra mouth.

However, they did not refuse.

And the generation of children "unnecessary" by modern standards not only grew up but also won 2 world wars (almost the first one), rebuilt most of what we have, and finally sent Yura Gagarin into space.

Among the "unnecessary children", for example, was Marshal Zhukov, who was sent to the city at a very tender age.

In addition, modern philosophers do not want to remember that the Russian hut was heated with wood (the gas was not supplied), and the forest in the area had been cut down over the centuries.

So it turned out that the happy parents were not only hungry, but they also had nothing to drown with. Slept side by side for warmth.

Finally, this happy country pastoral should be complemented by the analogue of the modern mortgage.

The peasant, personally freed under the reform of 1861, was obliged to pay the landlord money for the land. The payments were stretched until 1950.

And these "happy fathers", with "mortgages for 80 years in advance", "without gas and electricity": fed 5-6 parasites, which could not bring any benefit to the household!

In modern terms, they were crazy people!

The number 5-6 is of course frightening. Well, General Vatutin, who won Stalingrad Kursk for us and liberated Kiev shortly before his death, grew up in a family of 11 people in a small hut.

The nurse with the folder not only fed the parasite, but also gave him an education, by the way, paid. Describing the horrors of that Russian life, we do not get tired of repeating: about the same thing happened all over the planet Earth.

And we were ahead of the rest of the planet, or rather strived to be.

Our grandfathers, returning from the Great Patriotic War, according to modern concepts, were complete alcoholics (daily one hundred grams of vodka for a meager ration) and neurasthenics.

They saw the "luxurious Western way of life" with their own eyes, and returned to the ashes of the terrible totalitarian regime of Comrade Stalin.

This did not stop them from starting families and having children "for themselves and that guy."

This is how the largest generation in the history of the country was born: Children of the Winners.

So it is not the standard of living, not the Stalins and Hitlers, not the terrible conditions of our country, and even more so, not the predetermination of the terrible future of our children that are the reason for the low birth rate.

For centuries, Russian fertility has been the subject of our pride and envy of enemies. The Slavs breed like rabbits. A common phrase attributed to Bismarck.

Now under this quote it is necessary to put a footnote with an explanation. Produced until the end of the 20th century.

For centuries, we have had a high mortality rate, to be honest.

And the phrase of the Russian general, allegedly assessing the losses with cold-blooded taunts: "Russian women give birth to so much in one night" was written with condemnation. In modern Russia, it should be written with puppy delight.

Truly, the world has turned upside down. And we have to flip it back.

Otherwise, the footnote will sound like this: They bred like rabbits … and then died out.

PS. In the speech of the doctor of medical sciences, surgeon, Alexander Redko (1:47:45 in the video below), it is noted that according to the 1907 census, with 152 million people at the same rate of growth, the country's population doubled in 21 years. Accordingly, by our time there should not be 700 million of us, and just under 5 billion.
