There are many articles on the manipulation of public consciousness, with specific examples. However, this topic does not cease to be relevant, since we are still manipulated, and the bulk of the population still does not see it.

A striking example of the manipulation of consciousness is the introduction of juvenile justice in Russia. An entire book can be written using this example, as it uses a huge number of manipulation techniques. The success of the methods is directly related to Western organizations that actively advocate for the introduction of juvenile justice in our country.

Thus, the Fund for Supporting Children in Difficult Life Situations and the National Fund for the Protection of Children from Abuse work closely with each other and are linked with USAID - the American Agency for International Development, which promotes US interests in other countries of the world. Among the partners of the National Fund for the Protection of Children from Cruelty, the following are officially named: UNICEF (whose work the Russian authorities asked to terminate back in 2013); American Professional Alliance Against Child Abuse (APSAC); Institute of Social Services (IHS), Ohio, USA.

Both Foundations are actively introducing various anti-family technologies into Russian society, into educational programs, into the standards of work of social services, into regulations.

Of course, it should be understood that large funds and efforts in the West are not spent on futile projects. And the West really needs Russia, or rather, our children.

We will consider some methods of manipulating public consciousness: 1) substitution of concepts and the essence of things, 2) suppression of information, 3) programming a negative image of parents through the media, 4) gradual application - all these methods are closely intertwined.

Gradual application. To achieve acceptance of any negative phenomenon, which will be rejected by the masses, it is enough to introduce it gradually, day after day, year after year, while programming people's minds for a positive attitude towards this phenomenon.

So, since the 2000s, Western-style juvenile justice has been introduced in Russia. The law on juvenile justice (on juvenile courts) was rejected by the State Duma of the Russian Federation in 2010 in the second reading. The public at that time was not ready to accept juvenile justice. It is worth noting that more than one healthy society oriented towards the preservation of the traditional family, which is on the side of fatherhood and motherhood, will not support juvenile justice.

Lobbyists of juvenile justice nevertheless continued its slow and systematic introduction, but not openly, but under the slogan of “protecting children from abuse”. Thus, in 2012, a decree was signed "On the National Strategy of Action in the Interests of Children for 2012-2017", designed to improve the situation of children in Russia, guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, that is, to protect them from cruel treatment.

Now the project "Decade of Childhood" (2017-2028), which is largely juvenile, is being promoted.

Next comes the substitution of concepts (a universal method of manipulation), when words that are fixed in the mind and carry certain emotional reactions are substituted for other words to which society is neutral or positive. Simply put, if society is not ready for some phenomenon, it is better to call this phenomenon differently.

So, no one speaks openly about juvenile justice, but the projects promote juvenile technologies and at the same time they are also veiled.

For example, the Fund to Support Children in Difficult Life Situations and the National Fund for the Protection of Children from Abuse, which actively advocate for the introduction of juvenile justice, issue guidelines for social workers.

Working tirelessly to improve public consciousness, the above funds inspire the idea that children in Russian families are subject to cruelty. They actively use the words "emotional violence", "psychological violence", "moral violence", "basic needs of the child", but when you delve into what exactly is being discussed, it turns out: violence is understood as any educational influence. Here is a substitution for you: education is violence.

For psychological abuse, they include, for example, raising the voice of a child, parental prohibitions or punishment.

Juvenile approaches are being introduced into the curricula for the training of psychologists and social educators. On the basis of the Herzen State Pedagogical University (St. Petersburg), a textbook entitled “Violence and cruel treatment of children: sources, causes, consequences, solutions” edited by E. N. Volkova was published.

From the point of view of the author of the manual, emotional abuse of a child is any action that causes a state of emotional stress in a child. But emotional stress can cause anything, any life situation, and not only in a child, but also in an adult!

Emotional abuse includes the following actions by a parent:

- trade in prohibitions: if a child at a certain time did not complete his homework or did not make the bed, then for a certain time this should be followed by a ban on watching TV or walking;

- intimidation with punishment;

- gloominess, refusal to discuss the problem.

The Decade of Childhood project, as well as the National Strategy for Children, is permeated with vague wordings (for example, “basic needs” - what exactly is included in this concept, etc.). But these vague formulations can be a criterion for intervention in the family, that is, there is a purely juvenile approach.

The National Foundation for the Protection of Children from Cruelty has developed several teaching aids, for example, “Childhood Protection. Prevention of social orphanhood”,“Child abuse. Causes. Consequences. Help”(authors IA Alekseeva, IG Novoselsky IG). These documents show that social workers are taught to intervene in families when there is no threat to the child's life, to identify families at risk. For example, the fact that parents do not seek medical help for the most insignificant reason is regarded as "risky" - the family falls into a risk group, which means that there is a possibility that the child will be removed.

The Decade of Childhood project introduces the concept of “responsible parenting”. And again it is not clear what it is, then the associative series is triggered, and an irresponsible parent arises in his imagination, whose child is left to himself, hangs around in the street, is mistreated at home, does not go to school, etc. But no, it turns out "responsible parenting" is something else. It is proposed to identify it through the index of responsibility, which consists of the material security of the family, the degree of tension in the relationship between parents and children (?), The frequency of the use of physical punishment by parents. Thus, the developers of the responsibility index intend to identify up to 70% of irresponsible parents! It turns out that many parents in Russia do not yet know themselves that they will fall into the category of “irresponsible”.

Continuing the conversation about the substitution of concepts as manipulation, it is worth mentioning the prevention of risky behavior (project "Decade of Childhood", p. 144)

Risk prevention are sex education programs.

In April 2013, Russia ratified the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse. This Convention obliges us to introduce sexuality education programs into the education system.

Such programs are written according to the standards of WHO (a special UN agency), and for WHO they, in turn, are created by various European organizations. In particular, Rutgers Nisso Groep, a number of sex scientists from which advocate pedophilia.

Sexuality education programs are designed to convince adolescents that the best way to fight AIDS is to use condoms when having sex. And also the most complete information about sex (not only traditional!): "Forewarned is forearmed."

The danger of this informational attitude is that under the guise of “prevention of AIDS”, “prevention of risky behavior”, adolescents (from 13-14 years old) are inculcated with sexual promiscuity and permissiveness, and early sexual intercourse is promoted. The fragile adolescent psyche perceives the description of "safe sex" due to age characteristics as an advertisement for sex, reinforcing a natural interest in it and a desire to try. All this ultimately leads to a rejection of family responsibilities, to a lack of perception of family values and children as the highest value in life. Teenagers are convinced: “children are a burden, the main thing in life is pleasure” (first of all, sexual).

Suppression of information. As many argue, if they do not talk about it, then this is not the case. If it was that serious, it would be discussed on television. But don't forget that television also has a role to play: to divert attention!

Let's look at the statistics of how many children were removed from families in recent years. Social security authorities are in no hurry to announce their numbers, so as not to frighten the public. Therefore, we will announce the figures that Senator Elena Mizulina calls: annually over the past years, 309 thousand children are withdrawn from families in Russia. In Russia, 850 children are forcibly separated from their parents every day, 740 children are temporarily confiscated, 38% of children are returned to their families within a year. We are talking here about prosperous families too! (The source of information:

The media play an important role in programming the consciousness of society, and the introduction of juvenile justice is no exception. Society needs to be convinced that the family cannot properly take care of the child, parents are negligent in their duties, parents do not know how to educate, parents are bad. If you convince people of this, then automatically there will be a need to protect children from negligent parents, from abuse, the introduction of "responsible parenting", etc.

How to convince society that parents are bad? The answer is simple - you need to emotionally influence the audience, focusing on one part of the information and hushing up another.

Many examples of the manipulation of consciousness in modern Russian society can be cited - this is the “priority of the interests of the individual” and “inclusive education”, “optimization”, etc.

To protect your mind from manipulation, you need to think (determine cause-and-effect relationships), analyze, compare. A thinking audience is an audience that sees the logical errors of the media, does not lend itself to colorful descriptions of terrible and merciless phenomena, independently searches for facts, compares them with the facts presented by the media, and draws conclusions. Only a thinking audience is not subject to manipulation of consciousness.

And at the end we will add. One of the sure signs of great manipulation of consciousness is that people stop listening to reasonable arguments, facts, and illustrative examples - they seem to want to be fooled.
